Fuck. Bye bye internet.
Anyone here interested in a Batman themed face for Pebble? I made one, and I'll modify a few things if you'd like (pretty much anything except the actual background image). It's pretty easy.

The play store. Nox is pretty popular, as is the miui pack. I personally like flatro.
I bought zte blade 3 and had it for like 6 months and the micro usb broke. Fixing it would cost the price of the phone. Well now i need new android phone and i was thinking of this:

thanks man, it was Nox I was looking for. :v: just got my phone back from service, AGAIN, but this time they had factory reset it so I had to find my icon pack back.

Galaxy S2 is finally biting the dust (cracked screen from running into my car when I was drunk + common sticky power button syndrome)
Looking at the Note 3 or S4. Have there been any developments with the new Nexus?
I'm just trying to figure out if I should grab one now or wait until Christmas (I think it'll hold out that long(ihope))
nextus rumors still say announcement on the 14th, with shipping by the end of the month
grr, hard to customize my homescreens on my tablet. no clue what to use all the extra space for, what do you guys do with your tablet homescreens?

I have my calendar, email, and to do list on my tablet's homescreen.

yeah, that's what I'm having issues with right now. I don't want to put too much on my screens, but I don't want it to look too empty either. don't really fancy the idea of having widget upon widget

I basically just kept the home screen proper really clean (dock, icon row over the dock, Chronos widget), then slammed the other 2 screens with widgets. Like you, I got sick of seeing empty space and decided that, since my tablet is a productivity device anyway, form should follow function.

think I just got something I can be happy with, yey
Is it possible to upgrade Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus (GT-I9105P) from 4.1.2 to 4.3?
If it is, how difficult would it be and would the 4.3 lag more than the current 4.1.2?
Sorry about the newbie questions, never rooted android or anything.

Looks like no. Yes for S2, no for S2 Plus.

Looks like the latest available is 4.2.2. Might have to wait for a 4.3 ROM bud.

I honestly just wouldn't get either at this point. Samsung doesn't actually add any value to their products, they're just the best at integrating whatever Qualcomm/Samsung LSI/Sony has to sell them.
If you're looking at the S4, look at the G2 or Xperia Z1. If you're looking at the Note 3, wait for the One Max or look at the Xperia Z Ultra.
Well fuck.
So I sent Swefox my Note II so he could send it in for repairs and he got a notice (Which he took a picture of for me) saying that there's going to be a $93 fee on collection. On top of the ~$100 in shipping it would take to ship to Samsung and have it get sent back to me.
Protip: Don't fucking buy a phone internationally if the warranty isn't covered in your own country.
So right now I'm waiting on my mom to call Rogers tomorrow to see how much it would cost if I walked into a Rogers store that day and bought a G2 or an HTC One (Possibly a Note 3... Though I'm not terribly enthusiastic about Samsung right now). If it's too high, I'll probably pay the import tax to get the phone fixed.
One risky option would to have swefox ignore the package and have it return to sender, then HOPE that a store here would replace the motherboard for less than $200.
I was also looking on Kijiji for used phones and wasn't finding much, the going price for an S3 is around $300 though I might be able to lowball someone. Another thing I'm seeing is a lot of reasonably priced iPhone 5's around and was considering switching to iOS for a few minutes because I'm so fucking tired of certain manufacturers cheaping out on parts (Like the flash in the early Note IIs, I'm looking at YOU Samsung) and having to jump through hoops and flash a bunch of stuff to get updates. Then you're at the mercy of a small group of individuals doing stuff in their spare time, so missing features aren't a big deal for them.
FWIW, if you buy a used Rogers phone and you have a Rogers account, they'll handle the warranty for you. As long as the device isn't flagged as stolen, you don't even need the proof of purchase for it.

Nice, at least with HTC there's some reasonable gray area where some international devices will get warranty repairs anyways.

solution number 2
don't deal with swefox

I can't speak for the other people he owes money to, though he's been pretty helpful throughout this thing. Unpredictable at times, though he kept me in the loop.
From my experience with the phone, I'm guessing it was purely bad luck. He said it was working fine when he last used it, though I'm guessing all the writes in a short period of time (He wiped the phone, I installed all my apps and shit on it) triggered the eMMC brick bug. Samsung Canada said the repairs wouldn't be covered, so I didn't have a lot of options except to send it back.
Still, I could afford the repairs I'm just wondering if that $200 would be better spent put toward a Note 3, G2 or One.
woah, Firefox for android is just so much better than chrome in my opinion. why haven't I checked this out earlier? oh and, what is the trending keyboard these days?
I like Fleksy but google keyboard is pretty good for average use
I switch between swiftkey, minuum, and flesky.
I use the google keyboard on my CM phone because.
Now I have $10 of Play Store credit from $3 of Kitkats, no idea what to buy.......
