Chrome has the most insane battery drain I've ever seen. Killed a quarter of the battery on my N7 in around an hour. I don't understand why they don't just use the page renderer from the default browser. It's so much better. Shame the default browser doesn't have any of the sync features from chrome. The default browser also doesn't randomly resize text on forums like chrome does.
Mozilla has terrible battery for me aswell, I might start using the default browser again..
If Samsung would just exchange the plastic and faux leather on the Galaxy Round it would actually be a downright good looking device.

This is why I use a regular browser, one that doesn't take like 30mb to install and runs like shit. Personally I've been using Next Browser lately, feels like stock browser except with a nicer interface.
Woke up to my kitten chewing my only micro USB cable and it's a nice official Samsung one that came with my phone... He's chewed it all the way to the wire. Damn sharp kitten teeth.
Time to order some new ones. Need one for the computer anyway. Pain in the ass to carry a cable to and from my room just to transfer a file or even charge it downstairs.
Sometimes, I feel like I'm the only one around on the internet that owns a Moto X. The active display is pretty similar to that, as I can tilt the phone slightly when it has been sitting on my desk to show the time. It's pretty handy.
Well, there are a lot of forces acting against that phone's adoption. No international version, MotoMaker on AT&T only, verizon customers buying cheaper devices off-contract to keep their unlimited plans, popular (and flat out inaccurate) opinion on whether or not the device is "high end."
I really want to get one, but I may end up with a used Razr from the last generation or not upgrading at all if it forces me to give up unlimited data from verizon.

And the Round looks uncomfortable as fuck, IMO. Also, I like walking with my phone screen-side out when it's in my pocket. Not like it's that big a deal, though.
I just don't like the look of it. It's like the smartphone market is floundering trying to find the next innovation in mobile tech and no one is doing it right.
I'm waiting to buy myself the nexus 5, but realize that it might be a month after it's announced before they start rolling them out, so i'm thinking of just waiting and seeing, and buying something else with my money before then.
Rumors say it's going to be announced next week.
Great. I can't setup the music thingy in Google play because I don't have a credit card. :suicide:
I saw CDMA radios on that Nexus 5 leak when it first hit and I got really excited, then I compared the bands and apparently they're all sprint. Fucking verizon.

Why the hell an I just now discovering the magic that is the CyanogenMod nightly?!

And it's unfortunate, as the X is probably the best device I've ever used, and I've used my fair share of phones. I paid full price outright for mine, and I felt that it was worth it. It's a shame it isn't priced lower and pushed harder; Motorola really dropped the ball in that department.

I'm pretty much just hoping that it'll be capable with metropcs, because they recently added the ability to take phones from anywhere and use them.

IDK, the price is pretty good for what it is, especially considering that Motorola can't afford to sell at-cost like Google can, and Google can't afford to let them because a loss on Motorola over time will cause their stock price to drop and their shareholders to encourage them to liquidate.

To transfer a file, you can try using AirDroid
Any way to turn off the top and bottom shadows on trebuchet?

You've got a good point, yeah. Regardless, it's a great phone for $100 on contract now, but I can see how the outright price turns people off when everybody's talking about how "it's got last year's processor" or that they can buy an iPhone for the same price.

I really want to get it come May when my contract is up. The problem is, I'll lose unlimited data. I'm on a family plan, so it'll depend on how my moms line goes. I might just day fuck it and switch carriers to get on my own plan.
Anyone with a recent HTC phone with the 4.2.2 update know where the lockscreen app shortcuts setting has gone? It used to be under personalise but I can't find it for the life of me.
I find it extremely surprising that there is STILL no Android 4.3 for the Moto X. I was thinking that with the seemingly little customization of Android and Google connection (although that probably isn't too relevant yet), it would've gotten it last month at least.

May might be a little late for it, though. I wouldn't be surprised if something new from Motorola comes out, with the same sort of form factor and features but better. Then there's also the T-Mo + Nexus combo.

There is a leaked copy, but yeah it's taking them a while. Then of course there's also the carrier issue, where it'll add another month before most people get it. It took me an extra 3 weeks to get the camera OTA since Rogers decided to release it just yesterday.
T-Mobile has shit coverage in west Texas. I was thinking a sprint mvno.
is the xperia z1 any better than the Xperia Z?
Wait, weren't there a few users still using the Xperia Z?

I find it weird that the HTC One is one of the very first devices to get 4.3. I had been running a leak for ages when I switched to a released version last week. The S4 is still on 4.2.2, even though it had that before the HTC One did.
HTC are doing a really good job updating the HTC One. I hope they keep it up.

Z1 is AFAIK better in every way. CPU, CAMERA! (with a dedicated shutter button), display quality..

Yeah, and what's more awesome is that they managed to push the 4.3 updates through American carriers very quickly.

I changed my DPI the wrong direction. Oops
I've been trying to decide for 10 minutes if I should order the white or black Urban Armor Gear Note III case. The white one looks pretty nice, though I have a black phone and the black one would look more consistent.
I don't put this much thought into buying pants...
I went with black because it will look less gross when dirty.

I want to change my dpi
what do?
I think you have to edit your build.prop, but this ROM lets me do it from settings, so don't go changing properties in there.

What clock widget is that?
dashclock
Looks like dashclock. I could be Wrong, though.
