I feel like I'm the only one who absolutely loathes white electronics. It just makes things look more like toys in my eyes.

Also has anyone noticed that Retroarch has been taken off the Google play store? Because I've found no evidence to suggest that any of the maintainers have.
I hate white soft touch.
White also gets all grubby and brown with dirty
Soft touch does it really bad. Glossy white scuffs, but it doesn't get gross.

Works on all ROMs (by root), sadly I can't find a cheaper option.

Retroarch takedown due to DMCA, probably by a competitor.

It's not hard to clean with rubbing alcohol, I literally do this all the time, white or not.
Guys, buy a 3 dollar bottle of 91% rubbing alcohol from your local drug store/electronics store/convenience store and keep your phone clean, something that your hand is constantly touching is going to get incredibly disgusting very quickly.
I figured it was DMCA but I'm confused as to the apparent lack of notice.
I used to use lense cleaning wipes I could get for safety glasses, they were pretty much alcohol wet naps.

Oh.

Wow, this is fairly recent too. I had no idea how long this was going on for.

Why alcohol though? Does it add a protective layer?

Disinfectant.
What Facebook apps do you guys recommend?
I've tried oStream, Spatio, Friendcaster, Tinfoil but feel something is missing but not sure what.
Never used the official app before as I've heard how terrible it is.

I can't use the official app on my phone because it eats up until it dies. Oh I'm sorry, you didn't need those extra 100mb did you?

Sadly, a browser bookmark is the best alternative. All 3rd party apps will have problems displaying content from some users, thanks to Facebooks weird API.
The facebook app has never really given me issues. It's been fine for a few months now anyway.
Disinfectant.
I heard from several people (including an optometric technician) that using a dish wash soap on glasses adds a protective layer. I wonder if that applies to glass on electronics as well. Obviously you should be careful and you shouldn't rinse it off with water (unless you have a waterproof phone).

cringeworthy design, stuttering while scrolling, almost wakes the device more than Google's location tracking.
Makes me glad that I don't have a facebook account
I'm getting a HTC One in two weeks. Which other phone should I consider checking out before that isn't the S4?

Note 3? Wait for the new Nexus?
cringeworthy design, stuttering while scrolling, almost wakes the device more than Google's location tracking.
Other than the design being pretty terrible, I've never had those issues with it. It has always scrolled smoothly and hasn't effected my battery life for about 5 months.

Anyone with a Nexus 4 had issues with rooting on Android 4.3. I've tried all the troubleshooting and it just refuses to root.
Well this is weird, using Fusion ROM and for some reason occasionally the back and menu buttons will stop working. They'll vibrate and light up but the phone does nothing and sometimes the keyboard won't appear when I click on a text box. Very odd. Checked the thread and no one else was having this problem. Time to find a different ROM.

Which version of SU are you trying to root with? There were issues with older versions of SU when 4.3 was released.
Is it possible to save my text messages on my rooted htc one x with a custom cm rom on, and then them restored on a stock rom?

I've used this in the past without any problems:

Just make sure you have a copy of the program file on your computer as well before you wipe everything.

Just hit file -> download on this page on your phone

and flash it with a custom recovery like TWRP.
Managed to get it working, just needed to get a newer version of SU.
