How long does it usually take for nexus factory images to show up? I think I'll just flash that on my N7 instead of an older one and waiting for an update.
The Nexus 5 is now available on the play store.

Well, fuck you too.
I'm not sure wether it's worth the upgrade from a Samsung Galaxy Nexus or not.
The white looks super nice.
Anyone selling their old Nexus 4? :v:
"old nexus 4"? Fuck you! :saddowns:
I considered it, but I guess I'll wait for the next Nexus.
Huh, GNex users are dropped.
That was expected, unfortunately, because TI quit the business, and thus, can't provide Google with all information they need

I didn't mean it like that :c
I was just wondering if anyone here could give me a nice deal on a used N4.

Because I'm still stuck with my Desire HD. Which still works fine (outside of the battery and volume keys and scratched up camera lens) but...you know, a new phone would make me a very happy person.

Didn't say I haven't bought one.
Just got a 32gb black version. So hyped.
Hey guys, so UK here, and I'm in a bit of a pickle here, trying to find my girlfriend a new phone to get her since it's our anniversary coming up, and my price range goes up to about £100. She has had her eyes set on the Alcatel S'Pop, and I found it for a steal on Argos. Except that it doesn't come on O2, her network.
I never rooted a Jellybean before, and I don't really want to void the warranty, but I'm going to see if rooting voids the paid warranty sometime tomorrow. I could also get one on O2 for a good bit more than from Argos, so even so it's not the end of the world.
What I wanted to ask you guys, is that do you have any recommendations for that price range? She personally likes the S'Pop, since it has Jellybean; plenty of internal memory, and a front facing camera. But I'd rather get one with a larger and clearer display.
Also, out of curiosity, how hard would it be to unlock it? Thankye.
I just went through the changes coming in 4.4
Holy fuck, I have such a raging boner right now, it's unbelievable.

Rooting isn't the same as unlocking. How hard it is to unlock the phone depends, you'd have to look it up. It definitely should not void the warranty though.

I know, but I mean, unlocking it without paying some extortionate sum, or having to wait a few months to do it. Only way to do it from home for this phone is to root it, I found. Although I have been skimming alot, and I only ever rooted 2 droids running a very old version. Thanks for the reply.
And now we, the happy One users who just received 4.3 a week ago, play the waiting game.
Damn, I really want the Nexus 5.
But I have no money
Probably a bad time to post in here considering the Nexus 5 / 4.4 hype but: My contract is up this month and I'm looking for a new phone. What should I do? I'm wondering whether I should just buy a phone straight up (less than £200, are Nexus 4's still available?) and get a pay monthly sim with what I need or is it better value for money getting a phone+plan contract?
I want a Nexus 5, but google won't fucking launch play in Sweden.

Google isn't ready for your böglyftet.
Probably has something to do with warranty and legal issues, I would imagine it's the same reasons as to why they're not in Finland.
