I've just installed PAC 4.2 and works wonderfully on a phone that's supposed to run 4.1. So I'd say go for it.
Funnily that's the rom I installed on my wildfire, so 4.2 runs perfectly (albeit unusably slow) on a device supposed to run 2.2 :v:
They also go for iPhones because marketing has embedded into their brain that "it just works" and "it's simple". Man, every time I use an iPhone it is hard as fuck to do anything more advanced than opening a photo.
Pretty sure that's just more getting used to the operating system, since I find an iPhone easy to use, as well as Android. Obviously Android has much more flexibility with how apps can interact with each other and what not
Ordered a Nexus 5. Can't wait to actually have a phone that's relevant and works.
So, this is new. [t]http://www.android.com/new/images/banners/apps2-1600.jpg[/t] Right on this page. http://www.android.com/apps-and-entertainment/ That looks pretty sexy. [editline]3rd November 2013[/editline] The time on the tablet is 4:45, so, looks like we're getting a minor update of 4.4.5 soon, probably, so possibly, that tablet is coming soon. Illuminati. [editline]3rd November 2013[/editline] Okay, I take back the 4.4.5, ignore me.

Someone made another KK ROM for N4 based on the N5 and sources from AOSP, he claims it to be lag-less. Testing it and reporting soon. First thing i tried was the benchmark, less score than with the other ROM (This time it scored 5242, running with ART), also, battery was low this time, i dont know if this have any releation on the score. I think we better stick to the first one.
I'm going to attempt to put Ubuntu on my N4. I'll tell you how it goes and if it's easy or not to do, I will not give up this time. [editline]3rd November 2013[/editline] Done it, it's the same as flashing a regular ROM. [editline]3rd November 2013[/editline] It's terrible to be honest, for various reasons, going back to 4.4
Anyone know of an app or a setting that can decrease the dpi of some games? I have an s4 and things like Angry Birds (har har) have buttons and birds so small you can barely tap them! It's like this with a lot of apps that I assume don't support 1080p displays? Thanks!
Sorry, but this is bugging the tats out of me, and I guess I'm not sure what to search cause I'm not finding anything! :P
Is it just me or does SwiftKey take forever to load and crash when you type stuff in text input boxes on the Browser?
SwiftKey is a terribly coded keyboard. It might have the best prediction, but it sucks in everything else. Google Keyboard 4 lyfe.
SwiftKey is a terribly coded keyboard. It might have the best prediction, but it sucks in everything else. Google Keyboard 4 lyfe.
I tried using the new 4.4 Google Keyboard yesterday, it still doesn't automatically remove the space after I press space to enter the prediction and then add puntuation. So I type "descripti", press space to enter the prediction and then press ".", the outcome is "description ." Swiftkey automatically removes the space so the outcome is "description."

It's little things that I'm very used to at this point.

I blame your ancient microscopic phone.
I type descripti > hit space twice > description. Works perfectly fine here on Google Keyboard. The same problem happens. I type descripti > hit space > description > hit "!" > description ! In SwiftKey, it automagically removes the space after the word for punctuation such as ,.?! etc [editline]3rd November 2013[/editline]
Why not report that problem then?
I did, twice already. Time to do it again.
Finish the word (single space tap), do a swipe gesture from the 123 key to a character you desire.
That's too much work and I'm not a huge fan of swiping around on the keyboard (anymore). a.k.a. I'll stick with my swiftkey
swiping is awesome imo. incredibly easy to write quickly with one hand.
swiping is awesome imo. incredibly easy to write quickly with one hand.
Too bad it's sometimes very inaccurate for me. It's probably just because of my small phone screen that's causing the inaccuracy.
I use swiftkey tablet on my phone because it's retarded to buy the same app twice.
I use swiftkey tablet on my phone because it's retarded to buy the same app twice.
They merged the two apps together recently, plus I got the phone version a long time ago for 10 cents. 10 fucking cents, amazing deal among other apps. Probably shouldn't have been a cheap ass and not getting other 10 cent apps during the sale.
The first receipt is for Swiftkey on my phone and the second is for Swiftkey when I had the Xoom still :/
Wow, keyboard tribalism. MINUUM MASTER RACE!!!
you don't need to hit space, just switch to the punctuation pane or longpress on the period key
In Google Keyboard, the predictions are not as good as SwiftKey and because of that, it will insert comminicstipns instead of communication. In SwiftKey, it will insert communication properly.
I love how you can spell words completely wrong in SwiftKey, but because the letters you typed are close to the letters you meant to type, it corrects it and is pretty much 99% perfect.
I've been using purely the Google Keyboard after getting my Nexus 7, but I think I'll test out SwiftKey now. It's way fucking smaller, not sure if I like that.
I love how you can spell words completely wrong in SwiftKey, but because the letters you typed are close to the letters you meant to type, it corrects it and is pretty much 99% perfect.
And this is why I can blindly type and still get predictions to work properly. I don't think many or any keyboard can do that. Google Keyboard will not show any predictions if you misspell one letter of a word usually. I don't wait for predictions, I just type the word out while ignoring the misspelling and just look at what swiftkey gives me as a prediction and press space in insert it.
