I can't swipe either, like I tried using it several times but 1/10 words or less are incorrect. When it works, it's really fast but it just doesn't work well enough for me.

That usually still works though.

smileykiller447 DON'T LEAVE US HANGING
The suspense is killing us!
It's one hour from his last post. I think the beauty of 4.4 killed him.
May the lorDuarte have mercy on his soul.
Or he's downloading it on EDGE, this could take the rest of the week.
Moto G announcement November 13!
My predictions:
Basically the Moto X without the customizable backs, will be avalaible in europe, maybe asia, will not be assembled in the US. Maybe a different screen and camera. Launch with 4.3.
[editline]4th November 2013[/editline]
Nevrmind, it's basically the Nexus 4 with a smaller battery and no Qi charging.

Buuuttt it should be ~$300 for 16gb off contract... Worth it to get Verizon off my shit? I don't like the battery size, but the Moto X has great longevity in a mid-sized battery.
[editline]4th November 2013[/editline]
The N4 battery has literally 150 MaH more. I might be looking at my next phone.
Nexus 4 with a smaller battery
why
[editline]4th November 2013[/editline]
seriously, unless that's optimized like FUCK, you'll have a bad time.
And it better launch with 4.3 with a 4.4 update on the way within this month (rolled out through all carriers and variants of the phone), or I'm losing any hopes for quick Android updates besides on Nexus devices.
That's the life of a big profile device. Root it and install PA, CM or Vanir which are the 3 big roms currently for the VZW(you have Verizon right?) G2.

You lose the IR remote and DRM protected videos currently, everything else works flawlessly. The only videos with DRM I guess are like paid Youtube videos and Netflix. There's a few edited stock roms which have promise but CleanROM has been a constant let down.
I was looking forward to using the IR remote though :(.
I'm cautious to doing any modifications to the phone because I'm pretty sure half of my terrible android experience was from constantly messing with my Droid X.

Well, 150 MaH less than the N4. And yeah, 4.3. I imagine it'll get 4.4 when the Moto X does, and I'm sure it'll be optimized as fuck because the X is and it uses a modified S4 pro.
The only thing that would make me second guess the Moto G is if it doesn't have an X8 chipset. Also, the lack of customizability.
[editline]4th November 2013[/editline]
Anyway, with TRIM in 4.3 and the supposedly old-device-friendly nature of 4.4 I imagine the G will run android pretty well.
Take a guess of what this means I'm doing

Can I ask, how come LG is so great at making Nexus phones, but when it comes to their own, its fucking terrible?
Also, how's LG phones so far?
Because Google has certain specifications and requirements, which LG obeys.
But with their own devices they're absolutely free to do what they want, so they end up different.
Anyway, I think that ever since the Optimus G (basically the Nexus 4 with LG's "free to do what you want" approach) LG has gotten significantly better. Better to the point where, if I had to buy a non-Nexus phone, I'd consider buying an LG phone more than a Samsung.
Actually, I think that Samsungs would currently be the last on my "non-Nexus phones" list.
For me, Sony Xperia Z1 and HTC One are battling for first place, with LG G2 being third.

Yeah, I agree with that point. Samsung was alright when they had S2, but with S3 and all that money, they seem to forget about everything.
samsung really went in the wrong direction with the s3 imo, and have been keeping on doing that with their other phones
somehow theyre making huge amounts of money even so... maybe im just not part of their market

Doesn't the Z1 have a shit grey screen like the XPeria Z did though?
so whats the best way to root an european htc one n shit
also what do you guys consider the best roms, is there any way to get 4.4 yet?
Doesn't the Z1 have a shit grey screen like the XPeria Z did though?
Sony went for a grey UI, people complained about the bad viewing angles screwing up the colors. The Z Ultra apparently has a better screen than the Z1, taken from reviews, and I've seen the ZU in person, the device is pretty solid and I wouldn't complain about the screen. Kaabii would tear the shit out of us.
Shouldn't there be an option here to switch between SMS and hangouts?

No, that's unfortunately not (yet I hope) how it works. Currently you'd start a new chat with the phone number instead of email.
I do hope in the future they add that, I don't like having two different threads for one person.

I've seen the XPeria Z and it had terrible viewing angles. You could open something with a black screen and see it turn light grey as you rotated the device. It was that terrible.

It switches you to the other thread, but it doesn't merge them.
Doesn't the Z1 have a shit grey screen like the XPeria Z did though?
Nope, saw it in person at a store, seemed pretty normal to me. I think Sony fixed that already with the Z Ultra, though.
Besides, to me, the whole "shit screen" argument of the Z wasn't as much of an issue as to everyone else. I've had the chance to play with one, and didn't notice it until I had it on my table and the screen lit up from an incoming phone call. Most of the time, this would not be something you would notice as you mostly look at the screen straight on.
Well, at least I do.

yeah there's no merging, the threads are separate and I like it that way. I think that merged threads would cause a lot of weird looking conversations.
ALSO, guys, did anyone else of you not receive any of the October 29 Google app updates? Apart from G+ update, I didn't get anything.
