I'm hearing talks of 550ppi, 1440p screens... on 5.25 inch phones...
What's the point at that size, seriously... A 1440p screen would be a lot more suited to a tablet
It's sad that mobile phone screens will overtake computer monitors in terms of price and screen resolution soon enough. It's still hard trying to find a decent 1440p monitor.
I kinda like the look of the BBM app lol
It's sad that the average mid to high end phone has a better resolution than a high-end laptop these days :v:
downloaded that survey app, and the first one asked the same questions more than once, and then at the end there was a paragraph about congress, and at the end it asked if I was still paying attention that I should rate 5 stars.
What.
that's the point
Is the Nexus 7 2013 and 2012 basically the same thing minus the internals specs and rear facing camera? So a case, screen protector, etc. will fit on both versions?
The 2013 version is thinner and wider yet slightly taller. They won't fit.
Aww the Google survey app puts trick questions in the surveys that prevent you from spamming random answers
Freedom land checking in, the survey app is pretty cool. Well designed, a breeze to set up, and I just made a dollar for answering about 10 questions.
As a political science student, this is a really cool tool... Except for the massive sampling error you get when you only sample people with smartphones.
And, for the record, we have all kinds of freedoms.
The freedom to get anally raped by police with no formal arrest and then get the bill from the hospital afterward, the freedom to have government shills steal our luggage, the freedom to bomb other countries and then claim they "hate us for our freedoms" when blowback strikes, the freedom to buy health insurance or else... all the freedoms, man.
America the motherfucking beautiful, or something.

Sorry, it's been a stressful week in the US, and I'm pissy about it.

BTW, Camron Summerson from AP made a great guest appearance on All About Android yesterday, I really encourage you to go check it out. It was a Nexus/Kit Kat show.
....I must have answered wrong because I haven't gotten another survey. :(

This. Getting used to the resolution and quality of the screen on my phone and tablet makes it harder to get comfortable on my laptop screen nowadays.

And that we have better displays in our phones than desktops :(

1920x1080 phone and 1366x768 laptop. Why.
....I must have answered wrong because I haven't gotten another survey. :(
It's okay, I haven't got another either.
Nexus 7 has the same resolution as my 13 inch MBP. To be fair there is the retina version but still.
I said I was disappointed in Obama and Congress, does that mean they don't want anything more from me?
I said I was disappointed in Obama and Congress, does that mean they don't want anything more from me?
give it some time, I'm guessing they're personally going through each answer for the first survey to root out spam bots and such
I did the same thing you did, hopefully something will happen tomorrow

2013 is narrower, taller and thinner

I the same. You're fine. Unless you did something weird on the "paying attention" question.

I missed and hit 4 stars, and it just auto accepted it.
Am I screwed?

I really don't know...
what the fuck are you guys talking about
i didn't get a star question or an obama question
Well for the one thing that I would say to congress, I said Destroy the NSA. Am I fucked now?
I said they should quit being greedy bastards and do their jobs
Anyone who has T-Mobile, apparently they are now doing "Free data for life" for tablets. If you have any sort of phone service with them you can just go in with any tablet "if eligible" and get 200mb of free LTE goodness.
Anyone wanna run the numbers of how quick you could blow through that data? Here's a speedtest of what the LTE networks run here :v:

Anyone with a note 3 having random reboots? I'll be using it, lock the screen and put it in my pocket. I took it out of my pocket 15 seconds later to see the t mobile splash screen. Also the magazine app keeps crashing with here and now.
I just a had a really bad dream where everyone bought a Nexus 5 and then Google announced a new and improved 2014 Nexus 5 right after.
Imagine that.. In December Google launches a Nexus 5 with triple the battery life in the same package.
The outrage would be incredible.
Finally got my nexus 5 as my main phone after nearly a week.. Virgin Media is fucking terrible @ customer support over the phone.. too many foreigners, didn't know what the fuck I was talking about so had to change mobile number in the end

I don't have a problem with VM, but I can see your point with their customer services. I live in the UK and I was switching over to a VM SIM but wanted to keep my number, when I rang I was put onto an American women, I asked for the number to be transferred and she seemed confused. She done god knows what on her computer then I had to repeat that I needed to give her a code to transfer my number. She eventually got it, I felt sorry for her though, it sounded like it was her first day and she kept saying "sorry for the wait" every 10 seconds. I'll take that over a call centre in India any day though.

Kinda wish I had the cellular radio version now. Although, its not like it really matters, since most of the time I'm in a T-Mobile roaming area anyway.
