Hello Nexus 5
If I could get these speeds in my Village it would be better then my home broadband.. its weird. Will probably never have 4g where I live but its more possible than fibre due to being in the country.
Fuck, I can't cope with my S3 anymore. It freezes constantly, then when I reboot it signs me out of every single app. Seeing as I use Falcon Pro for Twitter and you have to use a custom login by making a fake twitter app and copying the keys into it makes it so annoying to have to do every couple of hours.

omg, same thing is happening to me... it makes like a reset after every reboot... all apps are still there but i have to reinstall/log in again on every single application
thank god im wating for my nexus 5 to arrive
I'm in a very rural town, that was about 2km from the only 4G tower here. That download speed is still 3 times faster than my home ADSL!
That's fairly good for a rural town I guess.
This is what I get normally on 4G

More than 3 times faster than my home connection.

Not with the new layout. Why the fuck did they have to change it.
Not with the new layout. Why the fuck did they have to change it.
Ok, besides the new layout for the numbers and symbols
yeah the new layout kind of fucked me up. fucking morons, changing shit for the sake of changing it

I want the damn number pad back to the very left like before
Installed the new update to see what the problem was, that took a while because if you bought the tablet version, you have to go through your WHOLE apps list on google play, then hit update on there. Because of a "Limitation of the store"
Holy shit this is bad, why did they randomly switch the numbers to the other side?
Tried to restore a backup, started crashing endlessly until I fully uninstalled and reinstalled backup
10/10 devs, would buy from again
I want the damn number pad back to the very left like before
yeah, like now when I go to type a number it's all like "yeah, my address is $*%)# shitty street" and I'm like "fuck, that isn't right"
uninstalling this progressively worse application and going back to something not shitty like the new google keyboard
Thanks for telling me to backup swiftkey tablet before upgrading!
Also, thanks for telling me how to upgrade. I want to see how bad it is.
Does your speed vary throughout the day like mine does? I've seen it push 30 in the middle of the night, and drop as low as .5 in the middle of the day. (Becoming near useless)
Nope its always that range. Doesn't matter if I'm in a town of 100 or a busy mall. Its always in that ~12 MB range give or take.

Or, you know, you could search for the app and update from there.
The reason you had to search for it is because your version (tablet) is basically removed from the store, and all tablet owners got a free copy of the phone version. Which you technically hadn't installed yet.
I'm more surprised an update works and you don't have to reinstall it.

Really? This is what you're complaining about? Guys just use a finger on your left hand to switch to the numeric layout, and then use your right hand to actually type the numbers. That is on tablets of course.

I went to the new version, still said the price instead of install. This is the official instructions on the forum
If you purchased SwiftKey Tablet from Google Play, you will be updated to the unified version. Go to the Google Play Store on your device, log in with the account you used to purchase SwiftKey Tablet, and look through your list of "My Apps". SwiftKey Tablet will be in this list available to download at no extra cost. Unfortunately SwiftKey Tablet will not show up in search - this is a limitation of the Play Store.
Probably asked often, but are there any neat applications nowadays?

I like ADB Konnect, it lets you toggle wireless ADB for installing / copying shit without finding a cable

Eh, never used adb, and I'm using a stock rom anyway.
Feels like since I switched from cm to stock I've used my phone way less.
Goddamn it guys, I'm so mad. I had my pretty much brand new nexus 7 tablet in my pocket, took it out and the screen was cracked everywhere. I went to a local place to get a quote and he told me 'about $180 but in my opinion it's not even worth fixing'. Is it worth trying to by myself or should I see what ASUS says?
I also have a broken LG Thrill phone I need to get fixed as well.
See what Asus says, they fixed my N7 2012 screen for free.
It's in pristine condition, dropped it once but you can't even tell on the edges or anything. I'm crossing my fingers that they fix it for free. I'm poor and definitely don't have a disposable income like that.
Okay, so I got a Xperia Play, and it's backlight has somehow broken, it works sometimes, when I slide the phone open my whole screen just turns to black, would anyone know how I fix this? I tried opening the phone and look around if something was disconnected, but I couldn't spot anything.

Any idea if they would fix some scratches on the screen? I kinda suck at protecting electronic devices (aka I tend to drop them like it's hot) but never had any cracks.

Probably not, considering that's only cosmetic damage and doesn't prevent you using the device.
Sexus 5

HIT THANKS WHENEVER POSSIBLE OR IF I HELPED YOU...
Yeah, thanks, real fucking helpful, buddy.
