Hey guys ever since LinkedIn bought out Pulse I've been looking for a proper good looking RSS reader. Taptu doesn't really fit the style I like and that's the closest reader I've seen design-wise to Pulse. Any suggestions?
Have you tried feedly? There are quite a few layout options ranging from old-school google reader to flipboard craziness

It's been nearly a year since we first spied the LCD and E Ink-packing handset, and now TechCrunch says the Russian-based company is finally ready to make good on its promise to bring the device to consumers "before Christmas." As you might recall, the Android-based handset with a split personality features a full-color, Gorilla Glass 4.3-inch 1,280 x 720 LCD display on the front and a 200 dpi E Ink display on the rear.
From Russia
The phone is upside down :v:
Bootloader isn't AFIAK but by release you could use loki'd recoveries or whatever the proper terms are. Supposedly the 4.4 update that will be coming by the end of the year may include SELinux and make stuff a lot harder but they won't ship with that. I'd assume the "next-gen" of phones will probably have this stuff too but out of the box, that leaves the G2 in a interesting exploitable position being as good as the next flagships. Either way, everything works flawlessly outside a non-matured development community which is still trying to hammer all the maintainers for some reason. QuickRemote, the IR remote app and the IR functionality has been ported over and the stock camera app is just starting to be. I flashed the very first PA built from Houstonn for my D801(T-Mobile) and it's worked nothing but flawlessly and actually fixed a couple issues I was getting from the stock rom. Knock On works way better than stock but Knock Off hasn't been modified into any roms yet so you just use Apex/Nova and Gestures with it.
Awesome, I'll cancel my Nexus 5 order then and get a G2 instead. I hope I don't regret it in a year or two. :v:
The phone is upside down :v:
It's the australian version.
I'm having a dilemma 32gb Nexus 5 or 16gb S4 + microsd card
I'm having a dilemma 32gb Nexus 5 or 16gb S4 + microsd card
Nexus 5.
I'm having a dilemma 32gb Nexus 5 or 16gb S4 + microsd card
whenever works out to be cheaper
whenever works out to be cheaper
N5: $470 (When it's in stock) S4: $620 I see a clear difference here :v:
Unless you really need that microSD card slot
Unless you really need that microSD card slot
Either way he will have 32gb of space. With the $150 he saves from getting the N5 over the S4, he could just buy an OTG cable if he really needed more space.
How about 64GB microSDXC cards..?
I meant at least 32gb.
I wonder why nobody's made a case with a tiny OTG adapter and an sd slot
I meant at least 32gb.
But... He could have a 1, 2, 4, 8GB microSD card and still not have at least 32GB Just saying :v:
But... He could have a 1, 2, 4, 8GB microSD card and still not have at least 32GB Just saying :v:
When you can get a 16gb card for £10 there is no reason to have lower than that.
I wonder why nobody's made a case with a tiny OTG adapter and an sd slot
It's not a case but there's this.
kinda crazy how much software changes the aspect for a phone. I'm having a better time using my old SII over my Padfone 2 just because of the software, mainly flashing and stuff.
One of the main reasons why I picked my S2 as a phone when I grabbed it, it was cheap and I knew it would last a while. Did not expect to get carried all the way to 4.3.1 though, will have to see what happens with 4.4
so I'm goofing around with my S2, flashing and stuff. however, I've come to a stop since the phone kernel panics whenever I try to wipe or format anything. using CWM 6.0.4.4 [editline]14th November 2013[/editline] fixed it (I think) by flashing an older version of CWM via odin. doesn't 6.0.4.4 function properly without CM?
Updated my N7 to KitKat manually with adb sideload as the update still wasn't going through. Seems pretty nice really. [editline]14th November 2013[/editline] Now if only the N4 update would hurry up
Anyone got links to installing KitKat on a 2012 Nexus 7 w/ Wifi?
It's not a case but there's this.
Would only be usable if there were a Micro-usb female port opposite the microSD slot, for charging your Android device. Then you could go as far as hot glueing that adapter to your Android device.
got 4.4 on my S2, feels good.
Shit, I keep getting the 'ADB Device not found' error when I try to use Wug's Root Toolkit on my grouper. :c
Are your drivers installed properly?
Are your drivers installed properly?
Setting it to connect as neither MTP or PTP and letting it download and install the drivers from Windows Update worked.
Awesome, I'll cancel my Nexus 5 order then and get a G2 instead. I hope I don't regret it in a year or two. :v:
Highly doubt it, the difference of the G2 is as long as the battery doesn't explode or go faulty it will always last all day no matter what under regular use for as long as you own it. I've had 6 hours of screen on time and 18 hours on the battery and just crossed 50%, my GF's GS4 struggles to be on at 3/4 that. The phone is actually pretty easy to repair compared to the iPhone/GS4/One, parts aren't super cheap but are far cheaper than replacing the phone. It's $200ish for the entire front housing and like $20 for a battery then you just swap all the boards back in and it's a brand new phone. I'd also highly suggest the Zagg HD screen protector as it's cut correctly for a TPU case and the Diztronic TPU case. This is a "bezel less" phone, the glass sticks out further than the casing and while this provides a great look and feel it's shitty for screen protectors and dropping. It peeled through my normal Zagg shield as soon as I put it on and I had no choice but to get the HD that was "case friendly".
