Is it actually functional? Because if it is, I'll swap over from my current ROM, even though I'll lose shitloads of functionality, just so I can rub it in one dude's face, who has an Xperia Z1.
yeah it's pretty functional so far. only issues I currently know of is that the recovery which comes with that is broken and video recording doesn't work. other than that, it should be okay to use. it's still in beta and they advise not to use it though, but it seems stable enough to me

you need to have CWM recovery 6.0.4.5 to flash it successfully as well, and the ROM must be flashed from the internal card (only thing which worked for me at least). after flashing CM11, you'll get a broken recovery so use odin to flash a functioning recovery when done.
Through some sorta technical glitch, I am eligible for an upgrade but I have an HTC One
There is no logical reason to upgrade but now that I can I WANT ALL THE NEW PHONES
Does anyone know if I can get Google Now to report answers back in 24 hour time and not AM/PM?
I've set my time settings to use 24-hour and tried three different languages, and it always gives me AM/PM if I do things like ask for the time or whatever.

You could upgrade to a Nexus 5.

dat dithering (or lack thereof)
dat dithering (or lack thereof)
yep!
it's built into the asset which is the best part
wait what
wait what
The colour banding in the background of the images. The holo black gradient for some reason isn't dithered and it looks awful.
I hope one day we can have 16 bit depth color instead of 8 bit
no more banding problems ever

Oh, that's because I used bump to push it to my computer, so it compressed the image
It would be cool if my potato can get 4.4, Sony make it happen!
24bpp color = 8bit depth per channel x 3 channels
Why the fuck does my phone go into maximum overdrive mode when I browse facepunch with any browser?
Seriously, it sets all four cores to 1.5ghz constantly and it's eating my battery life.
[editline]17th November 2013[/editline]
Found a solution, use opera mini for facepunch.
Not opera mobile, opera mini, since it only displays a static page.

Still haven't got 4.4 on either of N4 or N7² in the UK.
Why do Google have to make everything a staggered rollout.

Have a small amount of users complain about bugs that weren't caught during in-house testing, or the whole goddamn globe complaining about bugs that weren't caught during in-house testing.
Which seems to be the most appealing from Google's perspective?
Is the nexus 4 still a good deal? I'm thinking that getting spare money for the N5 will take a long time, and N4 must have still a few android updates left, am I right?
So my Note 2 backup is a SBU file, whilst the Note 3 program (kies 3) is an SPB file. How do I import my contacts and such from the Note 2 (which I've already sold) backup file to the Note 3?
So since I'm using Opera mobile only for Facepunch, I made a Nox-style logo for it because why not?

Why's that? LG makes fantastic hardware.
