Holy shit, I want this case so bad :allears: It's the Spigen GS4 Neo Hybrid
wow, that's actually going to make the S4 look great.
Wow, I remember when I was watching Google I/O last year. Ahhh...
Used my mate's S4 and HTC One today. Feels exactly the same as an S3 except everything is just a little bit better here and there. Also movie mode made the screen look really washed out, not sure if that may be mostly due to the screen protector (fuck those things) or it just really chops off all saturation. The automatic adapt display option looked best in the conditions I was in. The HTC One was okay but nothing too impressive. I've got to say, both those phones were pretty eh. I'm probably gonna be all skeletonised by the time something amazing is available.

I'm going to buy new glasses so I can see how sharp my phone screen is.
That case looks pretty awesome
man, I have a feeling I'll be disappointed with I/O. I really want to see some new Google app designs (Navigation hello), but the closer it is the less I think we'll see something like that.
White Nexus 4 detected: http://www.theverge.com/2013/5/14/4329606/white-nexus-4
Hmm, so for my S3, I think I'll just buy this. I tried looking for water damaged or bad ESN phones to take the screen from, but I only found a few and they either went for more than $180, or they were sketchy and I couldn't get enough info from the seller, or the seller just cancelled the auction for no reason, etc. (Thanks for the idea Generic.Monk, but it just didn't work out). So I think my safest bet is just to buy a brand new panel assembly. (For some reason, last time I looked on eBay, I could only find more expensive ones or ones that wouldn't ship to Canada... but this time I searched differently using categories)

so apparently play services 3.1 includes a location sync handler maybe find my device coming in 4.3???? who knows
Oh cool... it looks like the price for S3 screen assemblies has been going down in price http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBidsLogin&_trksid=p2047675.l2564&rt=nc&item=271181204670
Google i/o predictions: more software than hardware, I don't expect any new nexus devices of any kind. Maybe more storage options.
I'm thinking a Nexus 7 Refresh but otherwise software
Possibly a white Nexus 4 as well. It's been appearing all over. I'm not a fan of it tbh.
Got Sprint, and my house is right in roaming area. :v: Not to mention no signal in the house. But the unlimited data, man.
X-phone (just went through the FCC as the XT1058), White N4, N7 refresh, 4.3 jelly bean (iterative, nothing groundbreaking), tons and tons of developer related stuff. [editline]14th May 2013[/editline] little bit of glass, too, but heavy on the dev side of things this year.

This might be rad: http://www.geek.com/android/samsung-galaxy-s4-google-edition-to-be-announced-at-google-io-1555174/
Y'know what was worse (And was quickly driven into the ground) The fucking Hiptop/Sidekick You had to buy the Sidekick plan, then the Sidekick data, to buy the Sidekick Apps, ringtones or wallpapers that you got from the Sidekick store You seriously couldn't put your own ringtones and wallpapers on, they could only be bought from them Combined with the fact it was controlled with a trackball and the build quality on that was total shit, this thing was a giant turd The best reason it died out so fast, it was aimed at teenagers, with free MSN, texting and internet, but phonecalls were expensive as hell, on top of the $50/month contract you were locked into for two years, they couldn't afford it :v:
They should have made an android version, which they did in 2011, named the Sidekick 4G
That phone is awful, the opening mechanism is neat though.
I'd say at I/O, a 32GB Nexus 4 is released...
introducing the nexus 2 "remember the '00s?"
Google should make a Nexus 6 to compete with the Note 2, or step it up to the Sony rumor of a 6.4" device.
Those sizes are a bit too big. I think the consumer sweet spot is 4-5 inches.
4,7 inch is the maximum size for me. I feel like anything bigger and you might as well get a tablet for the media consumption.
I don't get Nexus naming....... doesn't 4.7 inch round up to "Nexus 5"??
I was blown back by the sound quality, what are you talking about? They need to phase that shit out because they are pathetic.
~snip~
Too Big? Bah I love my Note 2 quit hating on my 5.5' But probably for the reason I use it less as a phone and more of a general mobile computing/texting/internet purposes. and I like my stylus, better than writing with my fingers.
