There we go, updated using the factory image without wipe. I wonder what changed.
How many hours of game play?
4-5 I guess. Multipler should be interesting though, one person the towers the other person attacks
"Ha they probably did this to make sure a Verizon device doesn't run the latest version of Android." Well that would be fun :v:
They forgot to set MAKE_ART_STUFF_REALLY_FUCKING_FAST to 1 in the initial firmware.
What do you play on and how's the controls?
2013 Nexus 7. Controls are the same as the previous Anomaly games, with the addition of doubling tapping to morph. From the reviews, even a Galaxy S3 struggles badly playing this game, didn't notice anything with my N7 but damn it got melting hot and ate the battery fast,

Like when gaming, browsing, watching videos, etc.

I have to say, I'm loving the speakers on my Nexus 7, they sound really good and the placement is great.
There's 120$ off HTC One, I was originally planning on waiting for HTC M8 (HTC Two?), but I'm strongly considering this... Should I? (Agree for yes, disagree for no)
How's the battery life you're getting? Like when gaming, browsing, watching videos, etc.
Really I love the 2013 N7 battery. Only major test I did was Bluetooth tethered it to my phone at 7am one day, spent most of the day playing Ingress, on G+, hangouts, web sites, maps, autobrightness and full sync on. By 4pm the phone was dead (N4 back then) and the tablet still had 65% left.

No battery problems, think I had like 60% left when I got home, was bloody spent too after that.
was bloody spent too after that.
Yeah tablet battery outlasted me by far. Spent most of that time with Ingress open, was the first day I spent in another town trying to expend my territory. Now I have a 12000maH Anker battery when the phone dies, helped so much weekend just past while travelling around the state and ending up in a remote portal for Unight8, this is what our team did in this section of the country.
Why would someone need to wipe nearly everything on their phone just to install CM?
Why would someone need to wipe nearly everything on their phone just to install CM?
Because you need to, in order to unlock the bootloader as a safety measure
my galaxy s3 struggles to play every game, even jetpack joyride lags hopefully CM fixes it
Friends S1 can play that game just fine.
Because you need to, in order to unlock the bootloader as a safety measure
I've already got bootloader unlocked, but CM fucked up and couldn't boot the device, and now I'm missing some features from it, and I don't want another wipe.
Saw the new posts beign a number higher than 20, knew something happened, oh well. Gonna update my N4. It says that the new factory image is missing system.img, should i redownload it before anything else? Redownloaded, system.img exists, but it say it doesnt.
I've already got bootloader unlocked, but CM fucked up and couldn't boot the device, and now I'm missing some features from it, and I don't want another wipe.
Try to flash a different version? If you already have CM on the device, you don't need to wipe everything to flash a new version. [editline]20th November 2013[/editline] Unless it goes from one version of android to another.
They had user profiles for 4.3, does anyone here actually use it?
They had user profiles for 4.3, does anyone here actually use it?
I can see it being really practical on tablets. For example if you let kids borrow it or just a friend for that matter. But haven't tried it due to older versions..

Now I'm on stock Android with stock recovery and unlocked bootloader, and my question is - do I really need to wipe the data in this situation to install CM?
White Nexus 5 tomorrow!
so is mine!!! ups is nuts they started shipping it today (13 days from order to ship, way less than the 3-4 weeks play store said), they expect to have it to me tomorrow
You know what confounds me? [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7333627/pics/Screenshot_2013-11-16-14-39-37.png[/t] Why is Greenwich, the city that all time in the entire world is based around, not in this list?
Because Greenwich is not a city. It's a district located within a borough located within Inner London which is located within Greater London. (England is fucking confusing.) But if you're gonna put Greenwich in the list, then you might as well put Southwark and Lewisham in there too.
-snip- Nevermind, flashed it perfectly now, had to flash boot.img then system.img separatedly.
so is mine!!! ups is nuts they started shipping it today (13 days from order to ship, way less than the 3-4 weeks play store said), they expect to have it to me tomorrow
Ah I'm getting mine from Three UK so it's next day delivery, ordered mine yesterday!
Google play newsstand came out and it basically puts magazines and currents together into one app. I kind of like the look and feel of the app but I miss the sliding from the left to get to the source selection pane to switch sources and swiping to read the article as pages.
