Development is definitely slow but I just love the look and feel of it. I probably will ditch it in the future though because there's still 4.4 bugs that I reported a couple weeks ago that they still haven't fixed.
I believe a bunch of apps are broken in 4.4
Is there any way to set auto updating to so that it doesn't update when I'm using my phone ala iOS 7? For some reason whenever my apps decide to update they slow my nexus 4 to a crawl for a couple of minutes. Also after each app updated it shows me the total amount of storage available on my phone which is odd.
If you've installed 4.4 on your device look for Google wallet on the play store. It seems that 4.4 makes more devices Google wallet friendly.

nerd shit ahead 4.4 got rid of the secure element requirement, and changed nfc payment to emulating a card ([HCE[host card emulation]). since carriers are dumb and block wallet from accessing the secure element, google said "fuck you we'll use HCE instead on wallet" you can't block HCE without basically breaking NFC [editline]25th November 2013[/editline] on the subject of europe doesn't appear like it. maybe, but i don't live in europe so
When I try to connect to any WiFi, all it says is "Connecting...". Any idea how I'd go about fixing it?
When I try to connect to any WiFi, all it says is "Connecting...". Any idea how I'd go about fixing it?
Try rebooting the device.
I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not
When I try to connect to any WiFi, all it says is "Connecting...". Any idea how I'd go about fixing it?
Have you tried turning it off and on again.

Code a GUI interface in visual basics to backtrace his IP. Wait shit.
I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not
If something is broken, rebooting will probably fix it. Source: my potato phone
All the KitKat Roms based on the GPE HTC One suck and don't work for some reason. Maybe I will RUU it when the official one is ready.
Is there a reason people hate BaconReader?
Well anyways I stopped using it a long time ago since I found reddit sync a year ago.
it's all about flow for reddit
I personally like the Reddit News mainly beacuse of the UI.
Well, now that I'm awake, I can tell you this, restarting didn't work, factory settings didn't woek, and neither did flashing another ROM. But, half way through typing this, it's just turned on. I am confused as fuck.
I've been having a lot of trouble connecting to WiFi lately too, I just assumed it was the access point.
I've had 4.4 on my Nexus 7 for a few days, and on my Nexus 4 for one, and I am kind of disappointed in how it runs. When pressing the home button it is delayed, as well as using the task button. While the animations are fairly smooth, they can sometimes not happen. 4.3 seemed to run smoother all round. Is anyone else experiencing this?
I've been looking around for a phone with Digitizer pen support, and I kind of like the Samsung Note 2. Just unsure whether to upgrade to that phone or should I continue saving up for something better? Still stuck with the Xperia Play.
Im considering changing from htc sense to the google play edition firmware / stock android on my htc one. Should I?
Tried to get an old HTC Wildfire with CM7 to work with mobile data. Did all the fixes I found. Removed the sim lock and all, didn't work. Switched back to my Note and now it doesn't recognize my sim card anymore. Help..
I like the removal of blue; it makes my customization just a little bit nicer looking now that I don't need to worry about working around the stupid blue that's always present.
They should make it possible to skin the stock keyboard. And yes, I'm aware on how XDA would butcher it, but I'm willing to take the possibility of that if that means I get rid of dull grey & white.

Case in point: [t]http://puu.sh/5tRJq/26ee24c130.png[/t] See how on the left edge the lines sort of "bump?" Yeah, it gets really wiggly around the edge. Otherwise, you can see writing works fine, I just write too huge to be useful.
Can anyone recommend a decent note app like shown above? I have evernote but I'd like something to quickly scribble down notes.
-snip- Turns out I was just panicking too hard and inserted everything wrong into the phones.

Trail color, key color, and character color.
I used an app called SuperBeam last night and it worked great. It's like Samsung's SBeam but for any phone. I was able to transfer a couple of movies from my tablet to my phone in only a few minutes. It uses the magic of WiFi direct.
