Moto G really does look great. I might get myself one. When is it gonna be available in more countries?

I'm actually considering this
This weekend is going to be interesting (again)
Well, this sounds, nice

So many IT Crowd videos
So I just ordered a Galaxy S3, I get it tomorrow. Could anyone reccomend a good case?
Urban Armor Gear. I've had one one my Note 2 (For the few months it lasted...) and now my Note 3. Great cases, they look a lot more interesting than Otterboxes and feel very well made.

Holy shit, that's one hell of a terrible article.
Like we’ve mentioned before, a sheet of paper is about 100,000 nanometers thick. A strand of human DNA is 2.5 nanometers in diameter — that’s only ≈10 times smaller than the technology inside the Snapdragon 800! So yes, it is small — but the Snapdragon 805 is built even smaller: 20nm.
What is that supposed to tell us? That could have been written as "The new Snapdragon is 20nm. The old one was 28m.
This results in a double-bonus: reduced power consumption and reduced heat generation. Both of these help increase battery life.
How are both helping battery life? Power consumption = heat generation. They are one and the same. That's like saying the car is both less heavy and also weighs less. Both are helping fuel consumption.
Yes folks, that’s 10GHz of pure processing power in a package that can fit comfortably in your pocket. Ten Gigahertz. Ten-thousand Megahertz.
That's just plain wrong, nothing to say here.
Let’s pause for a moment and pay tribute to the sub-1GHz CPUs that powered our desktop a laptop computers just a few years ago.
Completely ignoring that 1GHz x86 singlecore is absolutely not comparable in any possible way to 2.3GHz ARM quadcore.

This one is much better:
http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2013/11/snapdragon-805-coming-in-2014-putting-qualcomm-in-even-more-devices/
So when are Qualcomm going to stop being dicks to small manufacturers and ROM developers?
It's all about the ghz!
I still think that we should be caring more about making phones more battery efficient, not putting in bigger batteries to avoid the trouble.
The LG G2X was so bad that there's a class action lawsuit against LG.
https://eclaim.kccllc.net/caclaimforms/LGH/home.aspx
What
What

A class action settlement has been reached with LG Electronics MobileComm U.S.A., Inc. ("LG") regarding an alleged defect in LG G2x mobile phones that plaintiffs claim could cause the phones to either (1) repeatedly freeze, shut down and power off randomly ("shutdown defect") or (2) bleed or leak backlight from the edges of the phones' screens ("screen bleed defect").
Spec wise it should be better than my phone...
pretty sure you can usually restore stock, remove root, relock bootloader if it was locked to begin with, and generally remove all traces of tampering with your device. if I end up bricking my device (done this twice) I do my best to remove all traces of me ever rooting it or tampering with the software, and they usually fix it for free.
Actually, if it's one of the new batch of S4, there's a permanent hardware indicator that the bootloader has been unlocked.
EDIT: actually, I might be wrong, it might only be tripped if you actually flash a different bootloader

the LG Optimus 2X (and it's american version) were fucking nightmare phones, but that lawsuit is hilarious and impressive at the same time.
Yay, guess who's got the insane battery drain on their s4 after upgrading to 4.3? unplugged it this morning and an hour later from being in my pocket it's reading 89%. This is why people want to install custom roms so shit like this doesn't happen. I wish I wasn't shit scared of voiding my warranty/breaking my phone so I could do it...
Before you start messing with your phone, boot it in Download mode (ODIN mode) and check whether there's a line that says "KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x0". If you have that, then unfortunately you can't tamper with your phone or it'll permanently void your warranty (Knox trips a hardware fuse).

Well, putting in anything smaller than 2000 mAh should be a crime, but I agree. Phones need to become more power efficient.
My One has good battery life, but I miss my iPhone sometimes. The 4S had a tiny battery, but I could have the brightness at 100%, with wifi and bluetooth on all the time, and still have it last the day.

My phone has 1300mah
I bought a Zero Lemon 3000mah battery for my GF's S4 and for the very first time in the whole 6 months of her ownership of it she hasn't had to charge it before she went to bed after ~16 hours.
My LG G2 lasts a solid ~38 hours with it's 3000mah battery under normal use. :v:
Can't wait for a ZeroLemon battery for the Note 3. They said it's coming in a few days

NEVER MIND IT'S HERE http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GYD782A/ref=ox_ya_os_product
Bastexwireless, the store that sells them on Amazon runs an Ebay store that sells them at exactly the same price with free shipping that is roughly twice as quick as the shit that Amazon ships for free when you spend $35 now. So don't bother buying them off Amazon unless you want to completely avoid Paypal.
The return policy might be different
Last time I bought a Zerolemon battery off Amazon, I picked the shipping option that said 12-20 days, but it arrived in 5 days anyway lol
Looks like the Sense 5 theme doesnt look that ugly when mixed with KitKat, i still need a better livewallpaper:[t]http://imgur.com/1861JTS.png[/t]
EDIT:Removed the black bar.

You're joking right? Transparent everything and then a black bar across the screen.
Is the original Nexus 7 still worth it? My mom found a coupon for it that was like $100 off. I'd like a tablet for gaming with the upcoming GTA San Andreas for Android and some other games, videos, movies etc. I understand that the screen res and processor are lower than the 2013 Nexus 7, but this seems like a good deal since it's new.
There's a camera on the 2013 model and less hardware glitches
Wouldnt it be like $50 with $100 off at this point?
