Or just get a tablet for games
Oh goody, more shit to lug around on your daily commute. Don't know about anyone else here, but I only play games on mobile devices while on the go, and tablets are too clunky for that.
What
Super high res pictures can be in the hundreds of megabytes depending on what you're doing. My data cap is 2gb, most of which is used up by my sister watching stupid videos on YouTube. I don't understand why data is so expensive for what you get. Is 4G really that expensive to maintain? We pay the same price for unlimited internet and wifi at home as we do for 2gb of 4G.
What
NASA. Space is quite vast.
NASA. Space is quite vast.
and full of blinky lights and nothingness.
This heavy games are huge and you might want to consider the Nexus 5 as it's a lot faster and will handle those heavy 3D games you want to play much better.
Not quite true actually, in actual tests the Moto G performs just as well as the Nexus 5 in most games, and the Nexus 5 is really only slightly faster in real-world tests.
4.4 is really nice. Just got it on my Galaxy S4
Why is Play Music so terrible with mp3 files cover art? I mean, I tagged all the albums with the proper cover, and proper everything, but Play Music refuses to show the cover art and instead shows a grey image. In Apollo and other players it's working fine. Any ideas? [editline]1st December 2013[/editline] And I pretty much hate how to make a standard google play music account you need to input your credit card number. Really Google?
Not quite true actually, in actual tests the Moto G performs just as well as the Nexus 5 in most games, and the Nexus 5 is really only slightly faster in real-world tests.
Storage is limited to 16gb which isn't much
Hey, that's inaccurate. We get like, 500 MB. That's right, 500 MEGA bytes.
They're called freedom bytes, thank you. 500FB.
Oh goody, more shit to lug around on your daily commute. Don't know about anyone else here, but I only play games on mobile devices while on the go, and tablets are too clunky for that.
Yeah I'd rather just carry a phone around than a tablet or even a laptop.
Storage is limited to 16gb which isn't much
Isn't much for you. You have to realize, everyone has different usage patterns.
Isn't much for you. You have to realize, everyone has different usage patterns.
Yeah I do. Someone can buy this phone and use it for nothing but phone calls.
I just installed a Cyanogenmod nightly on this almost 2 years old Galaxy S2, so I can give it to my dad. I'm surprised at how smoothly it runs.
Does Chile even have 4G?
Only in certain parts of Santiago, with a certain carrier (Claro) On the Moto G thing, I'm fine with 8GB of memory, and my data plan is 3G only so meh

[editline]1st December 2013[/editline]
How do you even fill 32gb? I've got 8Gb and thats more than enough for me.
Music racks up space fast. Some people like having their entire music libraries in their phones.
Music racks up space fast. Some people like having their entire music libraries in their phones.
Yeah I put all my music on my phone, nothing better than having a portable jukebox in your pocket. Streaming music is not an option for me either due to data usage restrictions so I have about 20-30GB music on my phone.
Paranoid Android just released a Torch app they've made which will be in their official 4.4 builds. It's pretty darn cool. The way they've used the transparent status and navigation bar is a great idea. The overall design is really neat and quirky. I've always loved PA's quirky designs, wallpapers and such. Anyway, enough talking, here's the APK: https://www.copy.com/s/HspMtsNYw3sw It will only work on KitKat.

Did anyone get to try out the newest kit-kat based Virgin ROM? It is freakin' awesooooome you know, despite data connection not working on my S4 :v:
4.4 is really nice. Just got it on my Galaxy S4
Wish it'd be released for the s3 already...
America has 4G, but they can't use it because they have a 4KB data cap.
I have a 20gb limit with throttling after I pass it, I also get upto 55mbps LTE and it's $20 a month. T-Mobile isn't a bunch of greedy fucks like Verizon and AT&T.
I used to have T Mobile a few years ago and the service was awful. I'll have to see how good they are when my Verizon contract is up.
Can someone kill the HD2 already? That thing has KitKat running on it, that's insane. http://www.phonearena.com/news/The-legend-of-the-HTC-HD2-continues-aged-device-runs-KitKat-ROM_id49888

http://www.phonearena.com/news/The-legend-of-the-HTC-HD2-continues-aged-device-runs-KitKat-ROM_id49888
My old LG Optimus T has CM10.1 and 10.2, it runs on a 600mHz MSM7227 and 512MB of RAM. When overclocked to 748mHz it ran alright, mine didn't go all the way to 800+ like some could. I bricked mine trying to flash to CM9 before I got my Blaze (which somehow has CM10.2 official and bootable builds of 4.4)
The HTC Desire Z/T-Mobile G2 has a CM10.2 build and a CM11 build well on it's way. It has a whopping 386mb of ram and has the old single core 800mhz snapdragon that can be wound out to 1.4ghz.
Can someone kill the HD2 already? That thing has KitKat running on it, that's insane.
Wasn't that the HTC phone that had Windows Mobile on it that could run Android?
Clocking it that high is gonna kill the battery prematurely. Personal experience.
I kept it at 1.3ghz for two years, it still lasted the day and still longer than my GF's GS4 did on it's stock rom and battery. The Andromadus CM10.1 ROM was amazing on that phone, I think the nand just went bad right before I got my LG G2 because it won't let me do a rom backup anymore and fails. Was pretty excited to see what 4.4/CM11 would do since IMO CM10.1 was faster than CM7 ever was. I even have an OEM dock for it, it resides on my desk now on it's pretty rare dock.
