I kept it at 1.3ghz for two years, it still lasted the day and still longer than my GF's GS4 did on it's stock rom and battery. The Andromadus CM10.1 ROM was amazing on that phone, I think the nand just went bad right before I got my LG G2 because it won't let me do a rom backup anymore and fails. Was pretty excited to see what 4.4/CM11 would do since IMO CM10.1 was faster than CM7 ever was. I even have an OEM dock for it, it resides on my desk now on it's pretty rare dock.
I had it around 1.3 as well. Can't say the battery life was anything to brag about, but if I only used it for basic stuff, it could hold about 1.5 days. Pretty nice phone overall, but I eventually swapped it for a GS4.

Moto X is $350 today. [editline]2nd December 2013[/editline] They were having server problems earlier today, but they're mostly fixed now. Go get you a Moto X for the same price as an N5.
so the digitizer is fucked up in my note 2 and my dad is going to buy me another telephone i feel so fucking bad because i'll put him into more trouble
That's the one thing I hate about Samsung phones. Most sensitive LED/digitizer/glass in the world.
That's the one thing I hate about Samsung phones. Most sensitive LED/digitizer/glass in the world.
You know how did it go off? Teacher stepped on him. She doesnt even accepts she did.
Samsung Galaxy S3, dropped it twice. First time single crack, or a line across the screen. Then dropped it again on asphalt. The entire bottom half up to the first crack, looks like roots or some shit. Would cost like 200$ to get fixed, still works perfectly.

If that bottom part had cracked just a little more, the electrical traces in the AMOLED glass could've been completely severed (they're at the bottom of the screen, which explains your "roots". The piece of glass containing those traces is so thin and fragile.)
Maybe it's just my phone but I dropped it a few times and the screen still hasn't broken. Not gorilla glass or anything. Maybe because it's just small and a potato.
[t]http://puu.sh/5zNyI.jpg[/t] why fucking whyyyy
Was sort of hoping it was Garys phone so we could get him a new one.
Was sort of hoping it was Garys phone so we could get him a new one.
Nothing is stopping you since he does have a donation fund started :v: Just donate the remaining money so he can get a Nexus 5 and bathe in a combination of #BEBEBE and #HOLOYOLO.
Despite dropping all the smartphones I've owned and bought for family members, not a single one of them has had screen damage yet v:v:v
I dropped it so many times before it cracked. Should have wised up - nope.
Maybe it's just my phone but I dropped it a few times and the screen still hasn't broken. Not gorilla glass or anything. Maybe because it's just small and a potato.
Gorilla Glass is actually more brittle than regular glass. That's the cost of having better scratch resistance.
Talking about screens, I find comical those chinese samsung knock-offs sold on amazon. My friend bought one, and she was bragging around that she had the best phone, until she dropped it. First drop, two cracks on the screen.
In my dad's google contacts wtf

There's a merge function somewhere though.
Gorilla Glass is actually more brittle than regular glass. That's the cost of having better scratch resistance.
I though my phone has plastic, not glass
I though my phone has plastic, not glass
It is a capacitive screen? I had a phone with a plastic screen but it was a dumb-phone with resistive touch. EDIT: yeah your phone definitely has glass. Capacitive won't work with plastic.
there's no merge since it's straight from google+
Oh well fuck Google+ then.

Does anyone here even use g+?
Does anyone here even use g+?
I would, problem that nobody else I know does or are willing to switch, which creates looping problem. Fucking Facebook. :v: I do use Hangouts though.
