could you expand on that? wondering myself but according to everything I'm reading, the G2 is a step ahead of the nexus 5. software isn't an issue considering I'll flash something else on it when I would've gotten it anyway
I thought this got removed from the Play Store?

I don't trust automatic installers since a friend bricked his tablet using ClockworkMod's app
They might use some "works everywhere" technique that kills some devices
Now im authorized to use the Nexus 4. Since criminalty is high on Brazil, my parents ended all that paranoia about me loosing my cellphone or getting robbed.
I can now finally use the Nexus 4 normally, goodbye Galaxy Y, i will NOT miss you.
Dead pixels are covered under the warranty right?
not if you had your potato for three decades, I bet.
But it depends on the manufacturer AFAIK (at least with laptops it does). Some have a zero tolerance so they'll replace it even if you have one, others require 2 or 3 dead pixels to replace your devices.
Holy shit, 35$ tax on the Nexus 5 32GB? California, why?

Yeah I have a dead pixel on my LG G2, just found it yesterday. Hopefully Verizon will fix it, the phone is barely a month old!
My Nexus 5 32gb arrives tomorrow (if everything goes alright with the shipping) I'm so excited!

I know how you feel.
They arent bothering until you find them.
Then you get desperate and want to get rid of it.
I have one on my laptop, it took me nearly two years to stop noticing it.
I've never had a dead pixel on any gadget. I don't know what it looks like :v:

Friends found dead Pixels on a nexus 7 2013 he got recently.
It's not super noticeable, only when watching videos and the area is dark or something. There seems to be two or three.
So it's totally OK to delay the rma until a few months later? He's glued to the tablet.

That's nothing. Tax is $51.87 in Ontario. Grand total $467.86

Thats not much at all, 15% sales tax here
20% tax in UK.
Guys it is the Nexus 5 not the Jesusphone.
The G2 has a much better camera and the Z1 is waterproof and also really pretty.
It's a matter of opinion what phone you should get.
(get the HTC One the speakers will blow your ears away)

If you ask the people who know about android, I think they'll suggest the phone that's closer to it. I don't doubt the LG G2 or Z1 are nice, but you've got to consider that people here including me love stock android and guaranteed updates.

Even then, stock Android are miles behind custom ROMs in terms of features and settings that are available in CM/AOKP etc. Blew my mind when I found out you can't organise the quick settings panel in stock
I cashed out my money from using Locket and brought some Christmas gifts like a motherfucking boss.
I can get almost 5 hours of screen on time with my Nexus 5. That's magical compared to the N4 I had previously.
I can get over 4 hours with my phone.
Force RTL Layout Direction is the weirdest thing to use.

Yeah, all my Android dickery has made it so CyanogenMod is the definitive Android ROM for me. Same stock look, but there's a load of features under the hood that (usually) make sense.

G2 is better in every way other than wireless charging, being a Nexus device and price. G2 has more official big name roms last time I checked than the N5 too. If you're gonna put a custom rom on your N5 anyways then whatever rom you would have will be on the G2.
The G2 also has the option of the LG modified roms which are surprisingly good. The G2 literally gets twice the battery life and all the important feature apps like QuickRemote and the LG Camera have been ported to AOSP unlike any other OEM's apps.
If price isn't an issue it would be absolutely retarded not to get the G2 over the N5, literally the only reason to get the N5 over the G2 is price or an extreme dislike for the (superior)button placement.
Just got a package tracking card in Now
