Just bought a Nexus 5 after being annoyed at WP8 (or rather devs) for lack of app support How do I get my Facebook contacts and their numbers in the People app like I had on WP8?
Facebook is screwing around with Google but still sucking off HTC/Samsung. If you don't have a big name phone on a stock rom you don't get contact sync. You'll have to use(buy) an app like Haxsync which is better than the shitty Facebook sync anyways.
How about just a super closeup of Teal'c's face instead
Find me one for the Xperia Z Ultra resolution and I'll do it. I'll be doing my final right now.

Any alternatives/older apks that'll work?
Haxsync isn't even on the Play Store anymore and Ubersync only pulls profile pictures now. Well I'd just wait until the Dev gets it sorted out since it probably won't be long. Hopefully something will come of this or Facebook will just further take a shit on us for having Google developed phones.
I managed to export from WP8 the numbers I had added to Facebook contacts manually but the ones that were on their profiles require I go into the Facebook app just to call them. It'll suck if I can't get a data connection for whatever reason but need to call/text but oh well it'll have to do for now. Fucking Facebook [editline]18th December 2013[/editline] Anyhow, new to android, got nexus 5, what do?
I have a HTC Desire (Bravo), and I'm considering upgrading to 4.2.2 (VJ). But where do I start off really? I upgraded a Samsung device to Jelly bean once, but I don't really remember that much :v Because it's HTC I do S-OFF, then I change it to Clockwork Recovery or? I don't remember where the root part comes in. (Sorry, I know this is a slightly dumb question) Also, anyone who thinks this is a dumb idea? EDIT: nvm already installed it
For those who have read about my catastrophe with the Xperia Z heres a photo of my situation: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/tTmIHbR.jpg[/thumb]
Here's the final rundown of the battery life with ZeroLemon's Galaxy Note 3 battery [editline]18th December 2013[/editline] Could have probably gotten over 13, maybe 14h of screen time if I hadn't spent a third of it at max brightness :v:
Got my dad upgraded to a Note 3 from a LG Voyager yesterday. He loves it.

Wanting to use Themer but not liking that the menu button opens up a whole app rather than a small menu like most launchers.
Wanting to use Themer but not liking that the menu button opens up a whole app rather than a small menu like most launchers.
I'd use it but I'll miss my transparent status and navigation bar too much.

People who use WhatsApp here: Did you receive the latest update from Google Play yet? (2.11.146, updated yesterday) If you did, could you please upload the .apk? I'd like to test if it still works with ART, because the changelog claims it doesn't. I know I can get it from the WhatsApp website, but it appears that version has a built in self-downloader for new updates, which I don't want.
Ooo a system update for my GS3 after last time I dunno if to trust it or not though [editline]18th December 2013[/editline] "access the software is given to users in the order they request it, please try again later" ok
There's also this one, but it hasn't been updated in a while http://holothere.tumblr.com/
the guy that runs that one is an arsehole though
Is it just me or does flashing a ROM update on your phone feel good? How ever always reinstalling xposed after that is kinda annoying.
I'm addicted to nightlies, if a nightly isn't out on a day where it should be, I can't stop checking for it the next day. But like you said, installing xposed is annoying each time.
i don't even think i'm rooted on my nexus 4 or 7
