Oh sweet, San Andreas is out (looked at your previous posts of course). $6.99
Can I play GTA yet?
Can I play GTA yet?
Nope.
If you redownload the game the DRM bug is gone. However, the game loads to 100% and then crashes. This whole experience with SA on Android is terrible. First iOS gets it first, then two glitches keep me from playing. I had been anticipating the release of this game on Android for months.
Yep. Happened to me.
Day 1 of my wait: My Nexus 5 finally arrived. I was so excited. I then realized I'm saving it until Christmas. I can barely contain my excitement. Day 2: I almost factory reset my L9 to give it to my grandpa, but then I realized I'm not opening my Nexus 5 for another 6 days. I've started watching Nexus 5 reviews on Youtube to try and satisfy my hunger. Insanity looms over the horizon.
Dammit rockstar
Some pirates are running GTA by extracting the obbs and putting its contents in the folder. Luckily, for me it worked normally. (Im using a original version btw). Thats was on version 1.00 for pirates, i think it will work normally for both now. They are saying bugs are fixed and they didnt need to extract stuff with 1.01
Extracting obb files are as easy as copying the game files whenever you install the game like a steam game.
Theres another update out, but apparently it still doesn't resolve the issue. [editline]20th December 2013[/editline] [t]https://webapi.bumpserver.com/v1/data/f7f125f4-7e93-4874-a50c-96d48848571e[/t] :(
Oh. 4.4.2 is rolling out for all US Moto Gs, now. Neat.
Oh. 4.4.2 is rolling out for all US Moto Gs, now. Neat.
(Im assuming you have a Moto G) How is it? Im thinking of getting one as its pretty cheap here, about a third of the price of a n5 [editline]20th December 2013[/editline] And my current Galaxy S1 could do with an upgrade
anyone know of any good android focused java books got an app idea rolling around in my head and i know c++ so it shouldn't be that hard right
Ran GTA SA on mine. Loading saves apparently doesnt load pickups, that means i cant complete missions. Goddamn Rockstar, why?
Tempted to get San Andreas even though it'll be yet another Android game that I don't actually play :v: The only one I've regularly come back to is Pixel Dungeon
Best game, if only food were more abundant or you didn't get so hungry so fast.

Finally, something to buy with the $80 credit from the KitKat competition, haven't played GTA:SA for ages. So there's still issues going on with it?

[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3763603/2013-12-20%2012.55.00.png[/t] Just noticed it says "In App Purchases" on the Play Store, above the app size. And yep it crashes for me too during the loading screen for a new game.
So apparently you can ask Now to "Let's go Caroling", probably late but I just found it
Eugh, what the hell kind of IAP can you possibly have for this...
Guess we won't know until we can actually start the game! The game is $7 in Australia, how much more do they want
This is going to take some time to get used to. --- ~sent from my Nexus 5~
This is going to take some time to get used to. --- ~sent from my Nexus 5~
It'll be fine, You'll learn how to go about it very fast.
I'm surprised how little I mix the Back button to the former Menu button, or the Windows button to the old Back button. Feels weird having them disappear and not having physical Home button though.
Finally, something to buy with the $80 credit from the KitKat competition, haven't played GTA:SA for ages. So there's still issues going on with it?
Wow you have so much credit, I only got $10
Finally its stable for me. Stopped on Cesar Vialpando. Things are going great. Just like the PC one. Dance missions seems alot easier tough.
I hate the shitty wallpaper selecting shit. If the selection is centred on something you'd expect it to be, I don't know. In the centre.
Looks like GTA SA is finally fixed... [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12721884/Photos/Screenshot_2013-12-20-13-32-45.png[/t]
On a Nexus 7 2013... [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7333627/pics/Screenshot_2013-12-20-13-08-33.png[/t] Maxed (But slow) [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7333627/pics/Screenshot_2013-12-20-13-09-02.png[/t] My settings (medium visual effects, 75% resolution, 100% draw distance, classic shadows, low car reflections.) Just to give you an idea about how it would look. [editline]20th December 2013[/editline] It runs roughly as well on my Galaxy S4. For the record, the game has cloud saving functionality thanks to Rockstar Social Club. So I can sync the games between my S4 and my N7 2013. [editline]20th December 2013[/editline] Controls are better than I expected. I got to level 9 on the firefighter mission before I flipped my truck. And those missions can be tricky even with standard controls.
