i've never seen a nexus device in real life
I really want that case, except it leaves the camera lens protruding which is one of my pet peeves about the S3's design in the first place
Make sure you don't have bad signal already, at home I have shit signal in my bedroom and in the bathroom. This case ruined my long shits at the toilet lol.

I can't go to the toilet without my phone, I need something to read :v:
I also don't want to spend that much on a phone case, my current case was £2.99 from amazon and has protected me from many huge drops, apart from the fact it looks shit ugly and the buttons have absolutely zero feedback when you press them
Havent seen a N5 and N4 in my area But my N5 is a great Conversation starter too cause people ask like What phone is that?
I have people asking me about the Xperia ZU, saying, "Is that a phone?" "Is that a tablet?"
I just can't change this homescreen.

Tell me about it! Being used to the massive hype on the internet it's weird pulling it out and instantly being asked all these questions about it.

I like my Note 3 for that reason.
"It's so big!"

Keep looking or go to a store

I never got asked what I had when I had the N4, but I went on holidays away last month and got pulled up so many times and asked what phone I was using just after I got my N5, over the 4 days I would have been asked literally 10 times.
My phone is the best conversation starter in the world.
No really.
People constantly ask about my Galaxy Nexus. They always say it looks so fast and cool and where they could get one.
I tell them its 2 years old. They don't make them anymore. :v:
Hey is it possible to extend displays on a phone or tablet where it's not a mirror but an actual extension like on a computer?
So let's say it's over Slimport and the device screen is one thing while the TV gets something different?

To be fair, the GNex has a really good body. Subtle curviture, rubberised backing. Unfortunately it isn't that durable and doesn't react well to sudden impacts.
People used to ask questions about my Treo all the damn time when I had it
mostly things like "How the fuck do you fit that in your pocket"
I went back to stock on my i9100 because I was having trouble with the WiFi hotspot functionality (and it refused to flash ROMs in recovery all of a sudden), and I'm at my parents with no proper Internet.
Holy fuck. I'm going back to KitKat as soon as I get to my apartment, fuck this.
after like two days of not knowing how to do it
i give you the tiny death star notification zip (including darth vader breathing, lightsaber, and r2d2 beeps)

Same thing with my Note 2. I personally cannot use a smaller phone anymore. Whenever I have to use my sister's iPhone 5, I feel like I'm trying to tap on an ant.
Glad my dad got a Note 3 though. So whenever I inevitably get to play tech support I'll feel right at home (except for my phone running AOKP and his running stock, but whatever.)

Fuck, don't turn wifi off or GPS will shit itself and eat battery. Is this location services bug really not fixed? How do I find out which app is trying to get a GPS lock?
Better hope this new AOKP nightly with the updated baseband fixes it.

Hang on I'm an idiot.
I thought it was a flashable zip that changes your notification bar but it's just sounds.

What KitKat roms have you tried for i9100? I'm on the latest Carbon Rom (4.3.1) and I think I may just wait for the Carbon 4.4 to be released which should be soon since I like it's general stability.
Seeing as I couldn't make up my mind earlier whether I should or shouldn't get a Nexus 5, and sell my Note2, I simply called my provider and spoke to them. They then told me that I could choose to add an additional fee of ~10 dollars/month and get a Note 3 instead (still cheaper than what I paid per month earlier), so that's what I did, and this device is great.
I want to root my Nexus 5 but there are loads of guides from varying sources, which do I go with?
Running 4.4.2 build KOT49H if that helps

I usually only trust XDA.
After lots of requesting, they finally made a JellyBean easteregg live wallpaper.
Its name is Create-A-Wall.
It also has some other pro features, but i can live without them.
Is there a way to have an empty home screen on Nexus 5 with stuff on the next screen? It automatically moves the stuff from the next screen to the home screen.
One of my main complaints with the launcher is that there's no way to have a blank homescreen. As someone who doesn't like to have much if anything on a home screen, I was glad to find out that there's a way to work around this, though it isn't pretty and it doesn't last. If you place an app icon on a home screen and uninstall that app, you're left with the empty home screen. It shows up on the indicator at the bottom of the screen as the plus sign, but this blank screen won't survive a reboot.
Couldn't you just use something like Battery Widget Reborn or UCCW and make everything totally transparent?
Ordered a white N5. Hooray now I'll be able to put this Galaxy S to rest. I hope the Nexus isn't as faulty as XDA makes it out to be with their crazy RMA sprees.
