Ordered a white N5. Hooray now I'll be able to put this Galaxy S to rest. I hope the Nexus isn't as faulty as XDA makes it out to be with their crazy RMA sprees.
In general, you'll always see more posts about issues than from people who have no problems at all. Use the threads/lists to check your device, if it's alright (and there is a rather high chance it will be), enjoy and welcome to the Nexus warrior family.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582889 Korean LG G2 4.4 OTA just went live!
This convinced me.
Couldn't you just use something like Battery Widget Reborn or UCCW and make everything totally transparent?
Thats how you do it then you just make it unclickable and boom empty homescreen [editline]24th December 2013[/editline]
Ordered a white N5. Welcome to the Nexus Warrior's! :v:

Maybe if I get a Moto G for the holidays I'll become a holo warrior and learn about the colour codes and stuff
I love me some stock android and such, but doesn't it feel a little bit empty? I mean, I find much more interesting a homescreen which is worked on and that fits your productivity needs and/or the art you enjoy, rather than being every homescreen defined by how google thinks a phone should look like, just with different wallpapers and widgets. I'm not saying stock homescreens are bad, just not as interesting.
Posting from Nexus 5, finally free from the Wildfire's horror
Posting from Nexus 5, finally free from the Wildfire's horror
Winner Winner, Nexus Dinner!

Most people with stock homescreens don't bother really for various reasons (commonly something like "i'm not in my homescreen much anyway")
Posting from Nexus 5, finally free from the Wildfire's horror
Lucky, I still have another 13 hours.
So I had this shitty $50 7" MID tablet that I was gonna give to my little cousin, but the screen cracked in half when I tried to put the screen protector on it... So I got this other android tablet and I'm wondering how I could move all the movies and apps from the SD card that I had on the original tablet onto the new one? Is that possible? Most of the apps (games) and all the movies are on the sd card, I put it in the new tablet but I'm not sure how to install them? Or move them to the device or whatever, I'm not sure what I need to do. I tried restarting thinking that would magically add all the apps to the device, but no. The sd card shows up in storage settings btw.
Too much customization can be overwhelming at first but you'll figure it out eventually.
News just in! Paranoid Android 4.4 official builds are out! [editline]25th December 2013[/editline] It amazes me how GApps are bigger than most ROMs. [editline]25th December 2013[/editline] I should really supply the link to PA's site for downloads http://paranoidandroid.co/
Might try PACman on my razr in a bit.
Might try PACman on my razr in a bit.
Protip: Get all your apps installed and things working, then make a full backup before you start playing with all the fancy rom features Enabling Halo on my tablet fucks everything up :v:
This convinced me.
If LG keeps it together like they are with the G2 they could really shape up to take a good chunk of Samsung's market and sit around where HTC does. I'd keep an eye on the GPad/GFlex and see if they get some OTA's along with the Optimus F6 which is horribly on 4.1.2 still yet being released this quarter. I've been absolutely nothing but impressed with my G2 though, even if this is the only device they make that turns out good lol. The LG G2 has had official PA 4.4 Alpha/Beta roms for over a month now and they haven't had any of the features I want to use.
Got a Nexus 7 2012 for Christmas. Feels nice to use. Got it updated to 4.4.2, should I root and flash a new rom? [editline]25th December 2013[/editline] Quick homescreen and lockscreen on my Nexus 7. [t]http://i.imgur.com/dA0OxfP.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/H3iOwvg.png[/t]
Oh god, why does it feel so slow all of a sudden? It was fine earlier.
Oh god, why does it feel so slow all of a sudden? It was fine earlier.
Background things maybe, I know my tablet gets crazy laggy when you start updating a lot of apps
I got my Nexus 5!
I got my Nexus 5!
Welcome to the Nexus Warrior family.
[t]http://imgkk.com/i/e187.jpg[/t] I feel so wrong for scaling up wallpapers, but it looks fine on the device :v:
What do you all use for emulators on your Android devices? I haven't had one for years and got a Nexus 2013. I tried installing RetroArch (as I use it on my iPhone and it works great), but for some reason it doesn't install any of it's modules.

I cannot get used to not having a dedicated menu button on the Nexus 7. I use it so much on my S3.
I saw some of my friends Samsung tab 10.1 (old model) and can't help but notice the dedicated menu and screenshot buttons on the on screen keys.
Whats the easiest way to root the N7 2012?
