Damn, dashclock is being really wonky with me. It isn't displaying my weather app and the music extension I got completely covers the clock + other widgets until I close the google play music app.
My phone can't make phone calls Sometimes. It just doesn't work, the stock dialer breaks. The contacts don't load, dialing in manually doesn't send the call. Guess what, call 911, cancel the call and then guess what happens? My previously dialed number calls! Wtf. And then after that it dials the numbers again like a queue or something stupid like that. Maybe it's just the dialer apps fault. Any alternative apps that are good?

For some reason playback in the YouTube app has small hitches every now and then now, it really sucks It just started happening out of nowhere, it happens even in non-fullscreen and non-HD video quality... what's up with that?? (my phone's a Note 3)
I've noticed that on a Nexus 7, sometimes the action bar has nothing in it.

Can I plug any old microusb card into my galaxy s4, or do I have to get one of those bullshit ~SAMSUNG OFFICIAL~ ones?
What does the x after every text mean x
Only one kiss, no hugs.

Looks like Asylumrom/OmniRom has now lockscreen Notifications. When I flashed the latest updated I suddenly had 2 lockscreen notifications since I was using NILS floating panel, that hella confused me. Picture of the correct LS notifications, because it is hella cool IMO. [t]http://i.imgur.com/aTpBRlQ.png[/t]
Hi. I can't be the only person in the world who just happen to own an HTC Rhyme, right? Can't find shit for it except for one or two roms.
There's a great one out there called Nexus 5
yeah working on it...
Right, so I think I figured out why my dashclock is being funky but I still don't know what to do. Normally dashclock is my main page when I press the unlock button, but when playing music dashclock moves over to the left and the google play music app pops up on my default unlock screen. Kind of annoying because I need to long press on that widget and swipe to the left on the very top of the screen. Is there any way to either make the google play music widget appear on the side, not at all, or below dashclock? I'd get a screenshot but my phone won't let me take one on my lock screen. One of my nerd friends at school looked at it and said it's probably due to samsung's wiz-whatever widget and said that I should find a way to turn that off but I'm at a loss. Samsung's settings menu is so janky.

Long press any lockscreen widget to move or remove it. If you're using a code/pattern unlock, you can drag down on the widget area to fully expand it

Can't fix potato
So I've fully stepped in to Google Voice. I'm excited for the spam filtering functionality.

Use a different player (I recommend Poweramp) and disable the lock screen widget. Even rooting won't help, really.

Switched to CyanogenMod from AOKP. When your proximity sensor during calls doesn't work and your default SMS app doesn't work, don't release a fucking ROM...
It's actually quite easy to miss those bugs in testing, only old people and Americans still call people and send text messages.
why the fuck should we switch to something else when everyone has phones
Everyone has smartphones, that are constantly connected to the Internet. Calling would be sort of OK, but people fail to use any encryption at all in their voice calls. That's why modern messenger services are superior - at least "they" have to go attack the service provider to get your information, instead of just grabbing it at the telecom level.
That'd be a good point if most people were actually sending confidential things. Unfortunately, they aren't, they're just having conversations, so there's no point in switching to another network and racking up data charges. And quite frankly if you're giving confidential information over a known network, encrypted or not, you're asking for trouble anyway. Can't have your private conversation in person? Roll your own SSL-enabled IRC network or something, don't use Whatsapp or SMS or whatever.
Why would you only use encryption for sending confidential information? Dragnet surveillance can bite you in the ass 20 years from now, you need to be using it for everything. You can use Google's XMPP server to talk to your Hangouts contents, which lets you use OTA. So if you have something actually confidential, nobody can get to it without compromising either party, and using Google in the middle lets you hide from the dragnet.
