Alright, I've just flashed Cyanogen onto my Kindle Fire 1st gen, which means I'm on Honeycomb or some shit. How do I get an app store?
This is the thing that I hate. Every year processing power keeps doubling and doubling yet manufacturers keep going "16GB storage is all you will ever need also fuck SD cards" and soon you will only be able to install 5 games before you are out of space. It's like playing games on your computer back in the 90's except not being allowed to play off the disc.
I know this all too well. Since I have an 8GB nexus 7, I loved installing tegra games on it and see how well it performs, until I got Horn on there which was like 2-3, nearly half of the space Google had given me for personal usage. now I barely have any games on it just to keep it with enough space to run it well, and stream gplay music. It's a shame I thought we would be in 128GB by now, and it's not even 64GB internal yet. I mean if 64GB micro SD cards are a thing, I don't see how internally it couldn't be.

It definetly is a thing. There have been iDevices with 64 GB of flash storage for a long time. For some reason, they just don't want to give us the option.

Or when they DO give us the option its ungodly expensive even though I'm fairly sure the flash storage probably only costs a couple bucks extra to use...
I was thinking about ordering a Moto X from their website during that deal today. Anyone have a Moto X, do you like it, etc
I really hope that this doesn't happen, Nexus devices weren't just about having stock Android on a device. http://androidspin.com/2014/01/27/nexus-line-ending-2015/
I have the nexus 5 16gb and it definitely isn't enough space. With all my apps and music, I have about 1gb left which isn't nearly enough for a movie and just about enough for a short TV episode. Luckily I set up a nice media server and seedbox with my Raspberry Pi. But in this age, it shouldn't be necessary at all.

Doesn't necesarrily mean they're gonna stop making their phones, just that the Nexus brand is dying? If he's even right.

Maybe it could be that they're finally gonna Motorolla to push their own devices, instead of having other people make them?

I'm calling massive bullshit on this. The Nexus brand is finally getting awesome recognition, people are finally learning what it is and are starting to want it globally. Makes no sense to just cut it off at this time.
I love ifixit's teardown of the Nexus 5 :v:

Can't seem to find a promo code spot?

It seems like the promo ended

on one hand i'm glad that more things are in color, unsaturated blue and grey and black gets depressing after a while and daring to wear some color is good
but holy crap that is some neon as hell red
What annoys me is that the phone speaker has to be the same color as the back, it really breaks the whole look of the front...
The earpiece being black would have looked better imo

It does look kinda nice
Maybe Google is going to troll everyone and make the red Nexus 5 available in 64gb
Nexus 5 Romantic Red 128GB, sold only on Valentine's Day.
that would be fucking hilarious and maddening.

It's been around on phones since the 4S and since the first iPad.
After playing around for hours I've come to then conclusion that I only have a 50/50 chance of the files working on my phone. It's an note 3 damnit, it has to support a 64gb exfat card that is made by samsung. Does that really mean that I have to somehow reformat that thing to fat32 or is there a way to fix that? After googleing around it seems that I'm not the only person having that problem who just said "reformat to fat32" and that's it.
Just ordered my Moto X for $350 off contract, I'll keep my unlimited data until Verizon kicks me off.

try that
try that
I will try that when I get the card back because I gave it to a friend so he can try it out on his devices. By the way will the read/write rate be affected by formating it to fat32 too much or will the usual speed stay about the same?
okay long term nexus 5 owners, how is your camera lens holding up since it sticks out of the phone?
if it's severely fucked up rate zing
if it has minor barely noticeable damage rate optimistic
if it's flawless rate friendly
dont vote at all if your nexus 5 is like 2 weeks old i said LONG TERM owners

It shouldn't really matter, it's just a file system.
Just got my nexus 5
I ordered it just a week ago from Google play and it's a first gen nexus 5. The speaker holes are small and the buttons are wobbly :/
Im really loving this Theme manager xposed module.
Now i can finally use CM themes with default ROMs (Since i prefer default ROM with root because i font use half of CM's features and i am too lazy to manually update stuff and reinstall the gapps via the play store).
