So I changed the DPI on my Note1 for shits and giggles, I need now a magnifying glass. Time to change it back or another setting. [t]http://i.imgur.com/1UBwsiR.png[/t]

I think it was the Galaxy Tab 10.1 2 or 1, forgot, but their was a video showing if you push your finger in you see the depress from the pressure.
CM11 has a couple nasty bugs on my S3, namely USB and Wifi tethering not working (a bug that has gone unfixed since 10.1 according to the forums), and the phone rebooting occasionally if you disable wifi from the quick settings toggle, aside from that it's fine. Great battery life too. I'd check their forums first though, make sure there aren't any big issues on your phone.
This is why I never recommend CM/AOKP and always push for a GPe-based ROM. [editline]3rd February 2014[/editline]
Holy shit, I wouldn't have guessed... [editline]2nd February 2014[/editline] It works from like...40ft away.
The LED is quite bright, extremely noticeable on cameras that don't cut the IR frequencies used in the remote. [editline]3rd February 2014[/editline]
He's gonna want the LG Optimus G Pro.
Does anyone even own a G Pro? It's like a neglected stepchild in Android. [editline]3rd February 2014[/editline]
Every Android phone I've ever used has done that..I think it's just the phone coming out of deep sleep 'n all that.
This is mostly a Samsung thing from what I recall. It's the modem coming out of deep sleep.
http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/612404/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-Pro-Android-Tablet/ Eight hundred and fifty dollars for an Android tablet, everyone.
If it's got 4G that's cheap, if not, it's not too bad.
Cool which do you use? Is it stable for you?
Omni. And I've expierenced one random reboot, after I decided to change my lockscreen to PIN-number, but otherwise, it's pretty good for a nightly. Everything works smooth as butter, and ActiveNotifications are dope. Rotating settings too. I wanted to try CM again, but I will miss these cool things + I am not sure they fixed bugs even from 10.1 era. And AOKP... just not my style. Too much settings for me.
Just did a fresh CM11 install. Now I hope Helium successfully backed up everything I wanted.
Flashed back to a stock TouchWiz ROM on my Note 2 and the only thing that has been painful to use is the stock Samsung keyboard. Reinstalled the Google Keyboard and all is well. Tried Fleksy again, but money cost + shitty placement of backspace button = bad keyboard. It's also really nice to not have the camera get completely dumped and require a full restart to work. I snapchat too much and camera suddenly not working was a huge problem.
On one hand I feel like I should probably upgrade to 4.4 on my SGS3 to get all the nifty features but on the other hand the stock 4.2.2 CM kernel is so stable that my phone hasn't randomly restarted once after installing this several months ago and applications pretty much never crash hmm
yeah I switched from 4.4 CM nightlies to the stock 4.3 Sammy ROM. I had no problems with actual OS stability or app compatibility, but the camera would just randomly stop working until reboot. also the CM camera software sucks, half of my photos came out unfocused and it also took forever to focus, whereas the Samsung camera focuses in the blink of an eye
yay red nextus [t]https://lh4.ggpht.com/viNu0N-gEdtSxKu2yApuT7o5dQmljxUXz3PaSRZW1bNAVQKj0kRIB9Rv-HqAGYEUNDA=w800-rw[/t] https://play.google.com/store/devices/details/Nexus_5_16GB_Bright_Red?id=nexus_5_red_16gb
Arrggh!! Fucking red phone speaker...
God damn it all. AIO Wireless just changed their plans around. I was going to give their 7GB/month plan a try. But now they don't offer it, only goes up to 5GB. Fuckers... Well, they ARE owned by AT&T after all. (which is the main reason I wanted to try them out, since AT&T's coverage in this area is so much better than T-Mobile)
I just found out I have 13GBs of data every month... Too bad my stupid phone company (Telenor) reduces my speed after only 3GB, down to practically unusable...
I just found out I have 13GBs of data every month... Too bad my stupid phone company (Telenor) reduces my speed after only 3GB, down to practically unusable...
technically that 7GB plan was "unlimited" but after 7GB of 'high speed' (8Mbps for LTE, 4Mbps for HSPA+) data you'd get throttled down to 250kbps - about 30kb/s, usually turns out to be half that. It's borderline unusable for anything except chatting.
Yeah, I get ~10 down on LTE at my apartment, which is why it's so fucking great, because the wifi here is terrible (even if it's free), but I get like .5Mb/s after my 3GB.
I've just finished up Holofication Nation's website. See if you can figure out what style I went for... http://holonation.co.uk
God, I wish I could stick with T-Mobile because they're honestly fast as hell when I get good HSPA+ signal around here. I was able to play a few games of Red Alert 2 smoothly with it :v: Plus I was able to play Garry's Mod and TF2 without any major issues...other than my laptop being a slow piece of crap, anyway. Pings were a little high but it was playable ...And then I ran through my 5GB 'high-speed' data limit because I went crazy with my friend's Netflix account. :x But sadly, I cannot stay with T-Mobile because I'm lucky to get signal anywhere on campus here, and its sporadic at best...
Since you like to complain about inconsistencies:
Just got my 32gb nexus 5.

Yeah, I've got the fix ready but my internet is down.
Just saw that Nexus 5 finally came to Brazil. I wish i had money to upgrade to it. Also, i have just found the magical world of OTG USB cables. Gonna turn my N4 into a portable gaming device of sorts using some LEGO Technic blocks and my X360 Controller.
So should I flash TWRP using this app called "Goo manager"?
welp nexus 7 usb port officially broke, not charging with any cables in the house

Alternatively get a PS3 controller and make a clip for it, use bluetooth.

Updated my i9100 to latest OmniROM nightly, it has OmniSwitch, this shit is brilliant. Also laughing how my phone that shipped with what, 2.3.4 Gingerbread, runs KitKat without any problems. Performance is great, everything works, even WiFi tethering, only thing I could want is a bigger battery, but I have a battery case if I need my phone for a really, really long day. The longest day I had, my battery case was empty and my phone was at 60-70% [editline]5th February 2014[/editline] OmniSwitch screenies: [t]http://nikomo.fi/share/Screenshot_2014-02-05-05-23-41.png[/t][t]http://nikomo.fi/share/Screenshot_2014-02-05-05-24-13.png[/t] [t]http://nikomo.fi/share/Screenshot_2014-02-05-05-24-24.png[/t][t]http://nikomo.fi/share/Screenshot_2014-02-05-05-24-51.png[/t] [t]http://nikomo.fi/share/Screenshot_2014-02-05-05-25-03.png[/t][t]http://nikomo.fi/share/Screenshot_2014-02-05-05-25-22.png[/t]
