Updates are now done in-app so there's no longer a need to download the update in your browser, hunt the download down, install, and delete update file. Now it's click, wait, and install with deletion of the update file when you open the menu again.
There's also more greater support of phones unlike before where menu items just looked off.
The red nexus is damn sexy looking. A shame its sold out.
I really want to buy the Nexus 5, but there's no 32GB version in Latvia. I'm a bit skeptical when it comes to ordering from abroad. Is it possible to cope with the 16GB version? I figure it's not that bad, since I can attach a USB flash drive. I'm mainly interested in listening to audio books, taking some pictures and videos, maybe some games. From what I've read it seems that movies and large games take up the most space. I wouldn't watch movies on such a small screen anyways, but I may want to connect the phone to a TV and watch them that way. Don't know about games, though.
Any thoughts?
I got an N5 16gb, current have 6,2GB free. It's mostly apps that take up that space (3,67GB) Unless you watch movies/tv shows on it, or have a LOT of music , or never delete your pictures, you should be good with the 16gb.
What sort of apps do you have? I can probably manage videos by copying them from/to my laptop and flash drive.
Mostly utilities, Xposed, Spotify, social media, snapchat, flappy bird and a quiz game.
Well, I finally got KitKat on my HTC One :v: lost official flash support on the default browser now though

What's wrong with going to another country to buy the 32gb model?
I bought a moto G the other day. I'm very pleased with it
because the phone that I had before was a xperia x10 mini :v:

In the screenshots of this, the signal bars are circles on the top left... Is this like, for CDMA devices or something?
It's just how iOS7 represents signal strength. Any Android phone with that is just using a theme
Found a sim card lying around with 7€ on it. Is there a way to send that to my steam account or maybe even paypal? If not what should I buy with it?
i don't like the holification nation icons (the instagram one) also the logo should be in the AB not the roboto light one branding is important

I'd do it if the opportunity arose. What I meant to say is that I don't like ordering online, especially from stores I know nothing about. If I do find a trusted store, I will buy it from them.

Read the terms of use to the phone company regarding money on Sim Cards. You probably can't get a refund for it but you could use it to buy stuff via phone order.

No refund so I've just made my whatsapp work for 5 more years. I don't know what else to do with that money anyway.

Why.

can you use it to buy apps? carrier billing possible?
Also still can't find a good dark/inverted Facebook + Messenger app. I have strong feelings that such a package does not exist

I can buy everything in the playstore including in app purchases. Carrier billing is thankfully not possible.

There are many great Twitter applications that look absolutely beautiful, but I don't use Twitter. I wish that same attention was paid to making a fantastic Facebook app because their homemade app just doesn't cut it. Is it an issue with having no API or has it just not been done yet?
Who knows. All I know is I want a good Facebook app. With HOLO and hookers.
Klyph used to be a good Facebook app but they stopped developing it because of API issues...Fast for Facebook is alright but honestly it's buggy and the UI is pretty bad.
Why.
It's not for playing, it's for showing off to people with iPhones that can't get it anymore.
SwipeBack and GravityBox for best xPosed Modules 2014
Had a chance to use HTC One.
Holy Jesus on a jumping stick this shit is fast.
Why.
It's really nice to just pull out when you're waiting for something, on the bus or on the light rail. Just take it out, play for 2 minutes and put it away again.
A friend wanted me to post his home and lock screen here:

Does your friend actually use all of those extra screens?
Would look much better if that google search bar were removed and then center the icons in the middle of the screen (or scale the icons down a bit), seems bottom heavy at the moment.
Hey Gary, how are the donations for a new phone doing?
Can someone please clarify how hangouts work? I was assuming it was supposed to be like iMessage, but it seems like I can only start a hangout with someone in my circles on Google+ or something. A decent amount of my friends have Android phones but only one of them has the option to use a hangout. I know for a fact another one of my friends uses hangouts but it defaults to SMS and shows no other options to switch to a hangout.
