Dropping by to say that if anyone was waiting for the HTC M8, if these tweets are anything to go by, we won't have long to hold out. Personally? I just got really hyped.
Can someone please clarify how hangouts work? I was assuming it was supposed to be like iMessage, but it seems like I can only start a hangout with someone in my circles on Google+ or something. A decent amount of my friends have Android phones but only one of them has the option to use a hangout. I know for a fact another one of my friends uses hangouts but it defaults to SMS and shows no other options to switch to a hangout.
Yeah, you'll have to have them in your circles, they don't have to use G+ themselves though (I think) I've messaged my mom even though she doesn't have G+.

I always found adding via email easiest because it's easier to find and people know their email instead of finding their profile url.
i like things simple [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/TvSFISE.jpg[/img_thumb]
i like things simple [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/TvSFISE.jpg[/img_thumb]
I wish I could have it simpler, but I haven't been able to get an icon pack with icons like the HelloSMS one.

I though everyone would have a screen protector and a cover for the phone just to be sure that nothing happens. Got mine today and I'm pretty happy with it.
I'm too picky. I want one of those LG quickcovers, but I can't afford one, and I struggle with finding something similar to it.

I think i pushed the simple approach too far: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/mIcfc7Q.jpg[/img_thumb] By the way, it's a nice change of pace from my old ICS phone, 4.2.2 paired with GravityBox is a joy to use.

Just ask Google Now, make it even more simple.
And why he ever needs anything on the screen? make it pure black, with only icon appearing when voice commands are activated. It can't be much simplier than that.

Though it's petty stupid on my Xperia Z1, since it's screen then shatter film then screen protector on both sides.
i've just been trying to find a good n5 case/protector i think i'm going to get the spigen clear back and the glass screen protector, but i'm still not sure
I always use screen protectors, i often see the scratches and ponder how many of those scratches would be on the screen without the protector.
I always use screen protectors, i often see the scratches and ponder how many of those scratches would be on the screen without the protector.
I think screen protectors scratch far easier than the actual screen. I used a screen protector up until two weeks ago when it got annoying with all the smudges and I don't have a single scratch on my screen yet (knock on wood). I'm using an S3 by the way.
I figured gorilla glass would save me from scratches and broken screens. I bought some screen protectors anyways when I got my phone, I would have rather put it on my self, but the guy at the store I bought my phone at decided he would do it, and fucked it up. I pulled it off and haven't used one since. My screen is covered in scratches and my screen shattered in my pocket last week somehow while I was at work. :(
The microfiber cloth that came with my screen protector scratched my screen. My poor Nexus 5...

"After sitting on the charger all day you decided to wake me up to play some games while you take a shit? I'm going to take this as my cue to update every single app you've ever downloaded and in turn lag the hell out of me for the entire duration that you're in the bathroom, making gameply near impossible." -My Phone
Fucking Verizon. I didn't do enough research and now I have learned that my Note 3 is the retail locked one. Meaning I have no way to unlock the bootloader as of yet. No custom roms for me. :(
Isn't gorilla glass really scratch resistant but more brittle than normal glass?
Does anyone have some untapped source of wallpapers that don't look like crap? Every app I find claims HD but once they're set ad your wallpaper you can see the crappy quality and JPEG artifacts.
HTC One 2014 press images. I'm really not digging it. Asymmetrical speaker design is unseeable once pointed out. Also what's with the gigantic logo down the bottom + on screen buttons. Seems like a waste of space.
Gross champagne gold, edges too rounded. HTC if this is truly what it looks like, you fucked up
Gross champagne gold
Imo this looks more like cheap chinese gold... Apple's champagne gold is a lot more subdued.
Opinions on whatsapp+ or whatever it's called please. Some of my friends started using it just for the emoticons and skins but I myself find it to be a total bullshit reason to switch to some unknown app which doesn't even have any legit place to get it from. I don't trust it. I also don't mind the original look of whatsapp and what the app itself does. It works and I don't need more than that.
Gimmick.
Gimmick.
That's exactly what I think about it as well, yet nobody listens to me. I tell them that it will get boring and they will switch back again. But nope emoticons and skins all the way that look like Windows XP after you gave it to your little sister.
