Imo this looks more like cheap chinese gold... Apple's champagne gold is a lot more subdued.
That's fair, especially since the only gold tinge on the front of the iphone 5s is the ring. Still, HTC's aiming a big gun at their foot with a design like that. Also, help me, I'm seriously thinking of buying a Galaxy Gear.
Also, help me, I'm seriously thinking of buying a Galaxy Gear.
What would posess you to do that haha
My fascination with gimmicky technology
HTC One 2014 press images. <Gold HTC One> I'm really not digging it. Asymmetrical speaker design is unseeable once pointed out. Also what's with the gigantic logo down the bottom + on screen buttons. Seems like a waste of space.
Too many people complained about the missing 'previous apps' button. They insist on keeping the HTC Logo. That combined with the HTC Design doesn't leave much of a choice. Really, I have no problem whatsoever with the HTC One button layout. A simple double tap on the home key is the recent apps, swipe up from home is Google Now and long press hold is menu. Then again I haven't really tried an AOSP based ROM on it because Sense 5.5 is good enough for me.
If you have an extra thousand get glass instead :v: [editline]20th February 2014[/editline] Also if the rumors are true I might bite if Apple offer a 4.7in phone. Im really over this plasticy S4... Software wise I dont care either way, both do near everything.
Google Glass is literally useless except in one aspect: saving you 4 seconds for pulling out your phone and opening the camera app (assuming Glass' battery hasn't died yet)
And having people stare at you funny when you're walking down the street. There are many ways you can do that for free. I like watches and I don't like pulling my giganto phone out of my pocket every time I gotta check a text. It seems like a good bite for me. Also, I lost the S-Pen for my phone. :(
Google Glass is literally useless except in one aspect: saving you 4 seconds for pulling out your phone and opening the camera app (assuming Glass' battery hasn't died yet)
navigation?
Google Glass is literally useless except in one aspect: saving you 4 seconds for pulling out your phone and opening the camera app (assuming Glass' battery hasn't died yet)
But it's so cool.
Also, I lost the S-Pen for my phone. :(
Every day I go to school I'm scared of loosing that pen. It sucks knowing that you're a target for some people just because of the phone you have.
Every day I go to school I'm scared of loosing that pen. It sucks knowing that you're a target for some people just because of the phone you have.
The fact that people will target you because of what you own is ridiculous sometimes... I'm glad almost everything I have is cheap crap, I generally don't have to worry.
Every day I go to school I'm scared of loosing that pen. It sucks knowing that you're a target for some people just because of the phone you have.
Image taken with flash because it was quite dark and the screen was on: [t]http://i.imgur.com/SU4Vv4B.jpg[/t] Note the pen on top. My case has one of those rubber band thingies. My S-Pen with eraser fits in it like a glove. It's useful because it doesn't fit in the normal S-Pen slot. I take my tablet to uni every day. I did fear losing my S-Pen, but I found that I won't if I always put it back in the rubber thingey. Sorry for the smudges on screen.
Increase screen brightness to max?
Increase screen brightness to max?
The only thing visible in the picture would be the screen, which is not what I want. I would have made a screenshot if I just wanted the screen :v:
Don't know where else to put his but I got invited to google glass today :D Now to find $1500
Does anyone have some untapped source of wallpapers that don't look like crap? Every app I find claims HD but once they're set ad your wallpaper you can see the crappy quality and JPEG artifacts.
I use Muzei with a Reddit plugin set to load pictures from r/carporn, looks great to me.
HTC One 2014 press images. -Photo- I'm really not digging it. Asymmetrical speaker design is unseeable once pointed out. Also what's with the gigantic logo down the bottom + on screen buttons. Seems like a waste of space.
Oh God aaaaaaaaaa!
The only thing visible in the picture would be the screen, which is not what I want. I would have made a screenshot if I just wanted the screen :v:
If you don't care about the background you could have increased the exposure compensation level
It's really not worth that much effort He wanted to show us a picture of a pen in his case :v:
Every day I go to school I'm scared of loosing that pen. It sucks knowing that you're a target for some people just because of the phone you have.
I am going to propose this to a lesson to all Facepunchers: Do not use Galaxy Note devices while drunk.
I am going to propose this to a lesson to all Facepunchers: Do not use Galaxy Note devices while drunk.
Yeah, you'll poke your eye out or something
Yeah, you'll poke your eye out or something
Well, shit. No wonder my eye hurts.
That's fair, especially since the only gold tinge on the front of the iphone 5s is the ring. Still, HTC's aiming a big gun at their foot with a design like that. Also, help me, I'm seriously thinking of buying a Galaxy Gear.
Buy a pebble instead
I wasn't saying Gorilla Glass is good or anything by saying I have an S3 :v My friend dropped his off his lap getting out of the car and the whole screen tree branched. I was just saying that I haven't really noticed any scratches since taking it off. I generally take care of my phone to a massive extent, every phone I've had is left in mint, working condition.
Wow, I had to root my LG G2 and change the CPU governor to a different one because games would stutter like hell otherwise. Now they run smooth as butter. I was literally (YES, LITERALLY) going crazy because of the stutter. Every time the phone paused for a tenth of a second it felt like my heart stopped for that moment.
"After sitting on the charger all day you decided to wake me up to play some games while you take a shit? I'm going to take this as my cue to update every single app you've ever downloaded and in turn lag the hell out of me for the entire duration that you're in the bathroom, making gameply near impossible." -My Phone
Yeah auto-updating seems to be incapable of updating when the screen is off and the phone isn't in use, which is the complete opposite of what you'd want your phone to do.
Never mind I missed a few pages somehow.
I re-released my wallpaper. It used to be called sweet pixels but I had some problems with my developer account and had to re upload it with a different account. I added in a way to unlock all the features if anyone wants them without paying. Steps for all features 1. Go to size settings 2. Background 3. Enter 1234567890 and press ok 4. Exit settings 5. All settings should be unlocked
Yeah auto-updating seems to be incapable of updating when the screen is off and the phone isn't in use, which is the complete opposite of what you'd want your phone to do.
My GNex and Nexus 7 tend to update when I'm not using them. Usually in the middle of the night. I guess I'm pretty lucky. I'm surprised there isn't an option like in Windows where you can specify the automatic updates to happen at a certain time. Then again, we are talking about a Google app here. :v: At least updating an app (I'm putting emphasis on an, meaning one) isn't a 3-5 minute affair like it was on my Eris. God help you when you flashed a new ROM and all your apps were automatically reinstalled. Phone is unusable for about an hour.
cracked the living hell out of my note 3, what a shame, but I might throw my tax money into a Nexus 5. is the phone worth it? everyone talks it up, I've been strictly samsung for a while now. And say I did get it, is the bumper case they offer any good for an idiot like me dropping it every now and then or is it basically just there to look pretty?
