cracked the living hell out of my note 3, what a shame, but I might throw my tax money into a Nexus 5. is the phone worth it? everyone talks it up, I've been strictly samsung for a while now. And say I did get it, is the bumper case they offer any good for an idiot like me dropping it every now and then or is it basically just there to look pretty?
case is actually pretty good nexus 5 is literally the best
I mean, is it worth like 40 bucks they have it advertised for? It's not exactly made of gold or champagne gold
I mean, is it worth like 40 bucks they have it advertised for?
HTC One 2014 press images. I'm really not digging it. Asymmetrical speaker design is unseeable once pointed out. Also what's with the gigantic logo down the bottom + on screen buttons. Seems like a waste of space.
Bezel at the bottom is for digitizer connectors. Capacitive would have worked but the whining was endless over the two button scheme, which is the only way capacitive buttons can happen. I do agree on the asymmetrical speaker, that's just why.jpg. The metal sides and plastic top/bottom looks quite interesting. [editline]19th February 2014[/editline]
Gross champagne gold, edges too rounded. HTC if this is truly what it looks like, you fucked up
It's been well leaked that launch colors will be champagne gold, silver (white), and gray (black).
pixels
You should snip this after a day or so, stop some dickhead from finding it and posting it everywhere
Bezel at the bottom is for digitizer connectors.
It's a pretty bad excuse really for wasting so much space on the front of the device. (Gold HTC One 2014)

(Gold HTC One 2014)
http://www.etradesupply.com/catalog/product/gallery/id/14365/image/152365/ Actually, it's a very reasonable explanation. Every phone has it, and they're all around the same size. Capacitive buttons can be put on that area of the bezel because it is just a thin layer adhered to the glass, a display is very thick in comparison.
I meant they could have utilized the space much better, like capacitive buttons as you said. The first generation One did it well.
I meant they could have utilized the space much better, like capacitive buttons as you said. The first generation One did it well.
And because there was only space for two buttons, people whined endlessly. So this is the end result.
Trainwreck of a phone imo.
You should snip this after a day or so, stop some dickhead from finding it and posting it everywhere
We get less activity than the Fallout thread, and there's a huge mod we keep linking to over there that, if I remember right, includes other people's mods without permission. Long as we don't put that code in the OP I think we'll be OK.
As much as I heard the One's speakers were amazing, do phones really need amazing speakers? They take up a lot of space, rise the price quite a bit and you could get much better sound just by plugging earphones in. I guess if you're watching something with friends it'd be useful but you could just get an earphone splitter.

(Atleast to some people) I wished i was joking... Also, i guess i have found a nice setup for my launcher: [t]http://i.imgur.com/1xeAPal.png[/t]
I re-released my wallpaper. It used to be called sweet pixels but I had some problems with my developer account and had to re upload it with a different account. I added in a way to unlock all the features if anyone wants them without paying. Steps for all features 1. Go to size settings 2. Background 3. Enter 1234567890 and press ok 4. Exit settings 5. All settings should be unlocked
This is awesome. Thank you.
I'd really love a custom launcher on my G2 but then I'd lose some really useful features that the stock launcher has.

Headphone splitters also essentially halve the volume. Also, I find it useful for listening to music while I'm in the shower or something, but don't want to bother putting proper speakers in the restroom.
I'd really love a custom launcher on my G2 but then I'd lose some really useful features that the stock launcher has.
On any decent launcher you can always do a gesture for double tap on the lock screen and use the Screen Off and Lock app to turn off the screen. If you're running the stock rom you can also install Xposed and there's a couple modules for the G2 which have a ton of features which should add back like the transparent bars on the launcher.
Anyone using Carbon Rom currently? Just noticed they've added i9100/SGS2 back to their supported devices I'm on OmniRom atm and I've tried SlimKat as well with both being pretty stable and solid.
Am I late to the homescreen show and tell? [t]http://i.imgur.com/JwlN3ZI.png[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/I42kIRO.png[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/dDG9m0l.png[/t] Using muzei, it's hard to decide with the blur, it looks nice on some photos, not so much on others. Also I've adapted to using my left most screen as the default now, let's see how long it takes for me to miss google now on the side.

Just realised how sick I am of my GS4. Piece of plastic crap it is lol.
Trainwreck of a phone imo.
Which is fine, but let's get the facts straight.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/gpIMIa3.png[/t] I think my homescreen could be better. And just now I noticed how blurry the icons are.
Any of you guys using powerbanks? Any recommendations?
Saw a post on /r/androidthemes and just had to replicate it, and add some features. [t]http://i.imgur.com/wqT7rxF.png[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/M54ZZw4.png[/t] Original Reddit post.
