you're still lucky you don't have to say something like "Greetings, S-Voice, go to S-Clock to turn off my S-Alarm" in a really slow robotic voice.
CM alarm clock playing Ghost River works for me except I have to have another alarm half an hour apart now because even though I'm awake enough to keep going with life, I keep wanting to roll back into my comfortable bed and wind up taking a nap
not even a butler that would hit me in the head with a silver platter would be enough to wake me up properly. I can go scan a QR code, nfc chip, solve captcha and a math puzzle and go back to sleep like it's nothing :/
Well you're not alone, I suck at waking up.
I just put my phone on my desk on the other side of my room so I have to get up to turn it off
Nasty(IMHO), what is it with all the leather that's been going around?
Samsung, that's why.
"sleep a few weeks without an alarm clock" aaaaand I'm fired. Seriously though, I admit my time management is terrible, but figuring out this sleep thing seems downright impossible for me. Oh and I used SleepBot before. I still managed to fall asleep 10 minutes after turning that alarm off :suicide:
I tried that sleepbot thingy, I kinda stopped using it some days later because I didn't like my phone so close to my head :v:
Worried it'll explode into freedom fries and poke your eye out?
I would use sleepbot, but my S3 likes to crash a lot so it'd probably end up freezing when my alarm is supposed to go off and never wake me up.
Newest build of the Steam app is out. Download: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B83EgJJ304HkakVnODI4cWpOYjg/edit?usp=sharing You're going to need to uninstall the current version to install this version. Changes include: Refresh animation is now the circle spinner Overflow menu is using square dots Navigation drawer slides out a little less violently Version number changed to make automatic updates through the Holofication Nation app easier Overflow menu is no longer a button [editline]2nd March 2014[/editline] I was going to include a transparent navigation bar, that brought some bugs, I fixed those bugs, but that brought two other bugs.
This was my alarm sound for about two years. I still have mild anxiety attacks when I hear even standard Green Hill Zone music.
I'm deaf
I'm deaf
sorry for your loss
Praying for the PAC Rom 4.4.2 to be available to my Nexus 4. I loved it, aside from not getting connections last time i tried it, if it works, it will be the ROM with everything i ever wanted.
I don't like PAC ROM...I've been getting sick of the kitchen sink ROMs being shit out lately.
They just all have the same features these days..
Not comfy at all with them having access to the Microphone and Camera.
is it truly unlimited or is there a fair use cap? here in france we get 20GB+fair use of 4G for 16€/month (so 13.1 gbp)
T-Mobile offers true unlimited, however before I get bitched out over my T-Mobile fanboyism they do reserve the right to throttle you or cancel you on rather vague terms. I haven't had any issues blowing past 50gb+ of tethering of Netflix when my Comcast decided to be shit. Either way T-Mobile and Comcast get similar pings to the same servers and I get at least 10mbps more download on T-Mobile's LTE. I really wish these cell phone providers would make a push into the ISP market, Comcast wouldn't stand a fucking chance here. Our phone bill is less than our cable bill, I wonder what T-Mobile would think of cutting a $140 cable bill and simply turning a $30/mo additional phone into our modem and house phone :v: Cable TV is garbage anyways.
Not comfy at all with them having access to the Microphone and Camera.
Er, I meant that all AOSP based ROMs are offering the same features these days. MIUI is just..MIUI. :v:
My s3 just broke. Went to Tmobile, switched from Sprint, and got the Nexus 5.
It seems like Paranoid Android might be interesting once they start adding features to it since right now it's pretty much stock, they still do have a few tweaks in there so far though. I hear they're reinventing halo and it's now going to be called hover.
I feel like the only one who didn't care for most of the features of PA. I had it both on my Gnex and my Nexus 7 from 4.1 to 4.3. Hybrid was only useful on my N7 to make the settings dual-pane, but even now I don't miss it, I like the status bar and navbar separated on them though I cant say if I'd fell the same on a full size tablet. PIE was a cool concept, mostly because I could play my fullscreen games now, but the swiping up and releasing on a point, I just never liked things like that. I mean it's faster than immerisive mode, but it just looked ugly and at least in immersive mode my swipe from up or down still registered in game (so my cousins don't accidently quit the game, at least not as easily). Halo was just there as a waste, I rarely used it, that even the little that was there annoyed me, plus while the implementation kept the app below it running, I still never like the pop up style. The only one feature I really like was the bars colors per app, but tinted status bar does it so much better.
Hey so I have a Nexus 4 and use Textra for texting. Is it true that the max participant limit on a group message is 10 people? Because for some reason I get tons of random threads for group messages over 10 people whenever somebody responds instead of just putting their response in a single thread. Is there a way to change this limit?

I generally run 440 as a base DPI and set Facebook to 360, Browser to 400, Instagram to 380, Play Store to 380 and many more to better suiting sizes. I personally can't wait for Hybrid to get readded to PA, PA IMO has the right amount of features and specificly all the ones which I need or aren't intrusive at all. PA by far has the best maintainers out of any of the LG G2 Roms currently anyways.
Leaked review of M8 I strongly suggest muting the video as the kid is annoying as fuck and doesn't really tell you any useful information [editline]2nd March 2014[/editline] I also like that you can clearly see all the device info for a few frames
Ah, thats awesome, no 4.4.2 PAC Rom for any of the nexus devices. Its amazing how they develop roms for lots of devices but the Nexus ones. I dont know why this happens, but it shouldnt (atleast for me). EDIT: Now its released, i should have seen the Eastern Time at the countdown.
I'm currently running OmniRom and the developer for my device hasn't even baked in any of the Omni goods aside from OmniSwitch. Debating going back to CM11 - why should I run Omni if it's just a CM11 base with some other shit tacked on?
I had to go back to CM from Omni, Omni had some stability issues on my device that I couldn't track down at all.
Once USB-OTG was fixed for the Moto G officially I just went straight back to stock :v: CM11 had random hot reboots for me, and the camera software sucked shit...
So Project ARA was demoed last Wednesday, in case someone hasn't seen it: (it starts at 5 minutes in, and lasts for 25 minutes)

Here in France the maximum domestic ADSL speed you can get is ~22mbps down and 1mbps up (so 2.3mb/s down and 115kb/s up). VDSL2 was allowed to be deployed a few months ago but my ISP is unbearably slow with the process... makes me sad, all they need to do is swap out and swap in a new network card in the upnodes. I could be getting 3 times the download and 15 times the upload (!) because my line length is exceptionally short (440m when the average french line is 1.5 to 2km long, and VDSL2 requires a line 1km or shorter). So sometimes when I need to upload big things or want to stream in high quality, and I know I have lots of spare data quota before the next month kicks in (unused doesn't roll over), I just tether... There's also an ISP in France which is starting to propose 4G as an alternative for business clients, it's 100GB of 4G for 100€/month. Not sure if it's worth it for business clients even, but hey, as long as they try new offers and figure out what works, they're free to do so.
