I find it pretty surprising to see how loyal people are to Samsung. It's pretty often to see if they've had a Galaxy phone earlier or something, they'll upgrade to another Samsung phone later on.
I stopped at S2 when I saw the live feed of the Samsung Galaxy S3 reveal. When they said 'Its designed by nature, and is made to look like a fucking pebble.' I said fuck it and switched over to Sony's Xperia. I'm glad I made the switch.
Wouldn't it be great if you had a decent amount of internal storage as well as an SD card slot?
Problem is that I find a lot of the time that many apps I use don't actually have SD card support (facebook >:c) Ehh, I bought the 32gb Nexus 5 anyway

Wow the M8 is big. That's the Max.
I find it pretty surprising to see how loyal people are to Samsung. It's pretty often to see if they've had a Galaxy phone earlier or something, they'll upgrade to another Samsung phone later on.
The S1 was my first taste of Android. Back then it was pretty nice, and it wasn't so locked down. Now I'm on my S4 and I'm regretting it because of how locked down it is. Samsung doesn't care about their customers, they care about pushing a product. Before I was with Android, I was an iOS user. I loved to jailbreak and theme and tweak everything to my heart's content. Then, when I got an Android phone, I was blown away. I could do all the tweaks I wanted to do before with ease. On top of that, I could install new firmware to have absolute control of my device. I was king shit on fuck mountain. Flash forward to the S4, and they took an open system and locked it the fuck down like Apple did. It's treason. It's blasphemy. It's bullshit. They took the one thing that made Android special and said "LOL NOPE NOT ANYMORE!!!" The company that made me fall in love with Android was the one to ruin Android. Thanks Samsung, go fuck yourselves.
My Note 2 is my first and last Samsung phone. I want nothing to do with their current bullshit, and I'll sacrifice a removable battery and SD card any day of the week.
I'm definitely not going to Samsung when I upgrade my phone. Not because I had a bad experience with my GNex. For the most part, its been pretty positive. But after finding where Samsung is going, I'm not going with the S4. LG G2 is probably the way I'll go, since its the closest thing to the Nexus 5 as you can get on Verizon. It will be funny as shit when my friend's ask me what phone I got and I say an LG since they seem to be pretty convinced their S4's are the shit. Also I'm sick of AMOLED and I want a decent battery. I think 3000 mAh will do it.
My G2 should be here tomorrow so I'll tell you how it is.
The have become the "isheep" they so often used to call out.
To be fair I haven't really found a single thing particularly wrong with my S3, just a lot of things that they could have done better.
Apparently that is all fixed on the Z2 since they swapped to IPS from the shitty screens they had before
http://www.xperiablog.net/2014/02/28/early-measurements-of-the-xperia-z2-point-to-a-very-good-display/ http://www.xperiablog.net/2014/02/25/xperia-z2s-ips-display-goes-up-against-the-xperia-z1/
My G2 should be here tomorrow so I'll tell you how it is.
Literally the second I hit post the delivery van turned up at my house.
Good thing to see that more people are picking up the G2.
Literally the second I hit post the delivery van turned up at my house.
I'm very interested in this. Let me know what you think - I'm not one to be turned off by manufacturer OS flavor, as evident by my usage of the TouchWiz launcher and all TouchWiz apps.
LG's software was pretty eh at first but after I disabled all the shit it's actually quite nice. Double tapping the home screen to lock is great, made me switch back to default after I tried Nova. Build quality feels solid and the display is fantastic. That's all I can comment on right now.
How's the porn experience. Please reply, this is very important
I don't see my phones that way.
Thats not what I asked at all, what are the buttons for? I can't seem to find their purpose anywhere, are they zoom for the camera or scrolling or what?
You phrased that in a way that immediately made me think you were asking "what's with putting the buttons on the back". Now you're phrasing it in a way that asks "what do the buttons do", which is what I assume you were actually asking.
http://www.xperiablog.net/2014/02/28/early-measurements-of-the-xperia-z2-point-to-a-very-good-display/ http://www.xperiablog.net/2014/02/25/xperia-z2s-ips-display-goes-up-against-the-xperia-z1/
And again I am reminded of how terrible the XPeria Z1's screen was. It's fucking white when looking at it from an angle. The screen is what made the Z1 a terrible choice. I'm glad they fixed it in the Z2.
So how do I into Facepunch Hangouts?

Include a bigger screenshot of the battery graph and screen time duration. You also seem to be running a custom ROM, which may improve or worsen battery life.
why are the icons for cell standby and phone idle so low-res ugh
Someone at Google said "you know what would really grind Facepunch poster Lyokanthrope's gears?" And then this happened. :v:
Insufficient information. Include a bigger screenshot of the battery graph and screen time duration. You also seem to be running a custom ROM, which may improve or worsen battery life.
That battery life is basically what I got on my G2 when it was on the stock ROM. Used a bit more battery if I was constantly sending texts though.
