I got a G2! Really like it so far
I hope you got the superior white one.
Someone at Google said "you know what would really grind Facepunch poster Lyokanthrope's gears?" And then this happened. :v:
I knew it.

Hi guys. I'm wondering if theres any way for me to sync my android phone with itunes (macbook). I used to be able to transfer music using Android file transfer, but since updating my mac to mavericks, it isnt recognised anymore. I cant seem to find any software that can do this properly. Either they just dont work, or they want to do the transfer over wifi rather than through the cable, which is not practical as I have a very small data cap (aussie internet). I havent been able to transfer music onto my phone for months, and im thinking of just giving up and buying an iphone as its really frustrating me.
I've had mine since early October, this is basically what you should expect battery life wise for "normal" use. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5601782/LG_G2/Screenshot_2014-03-10-05-04-13.png[/t]
What's the screen on time? That's the time I'm most concerned about. I get about 2.5 hours on my GNex from 100% to automatic shutdown. If it can get at least 4 hours, I would be so happy.
How's the LG G2 camera? Heard there's some anti-shake feature. And they say it's one of the best.

Got a screen protector applied by a friend last week, he didn't align it right. I decided to say fuck it and ripped the dusty corner filled screen protector film off and used my potato without a screen protector after using them for 2.5 years.
How's the LG G2 camera? Heard there's some anti-shake feature. I know it isn't supposed to be great but I haven't been able to get any detail what-so-ever...like everything just blends together and has really really hard edges. Even my iPhone took better front pictures.
what ISP treats internal data against your cap use the google play music uploader thingamabober, pin the stuff you want to keep on your phone or just buy an iphone if you're a quitter
The uploader involves me having to upload all of my music, which will go through my usage and take forever. I want a transfer solution that doesnt involve using the internet.

Turns out all traffic that touched his modem/router combo was counted against his data cap, regardless of it being LAN traffic or not. I don't remember what ISP it was, I think it was Canadian. Scum tier shit. [editline]10th March 2014[/editline]
The uploader involves me having to upload all of my music, which will go through my usage and take forever. Then you can do basic file downloading and uploading that way using FileZilla on your Mac.
Had to put my Nexus 5 on eBay, Sprint decided that it'd be funny to not upgrade our city's towers to NV for another 6 months or so, leaving the entire area with crappy 1x and low quality 3G service. Meanwhile my iPhone 5C on Sprint gets blazing LTE speeds (20mbps or so), fucking eHRPD Looking at a GNote or an iPhone 5S (iMessage), I'll be indecisive and impulsively buy one eventually.

Include a bigger screenshot of the battery graph and screen time duration. You also seem to be running a custom ROM, which may improve or worsen battery life.
I found better battery life on the stock rom, there's a million battery life threads on XDA about this phone. The battery life is basically what I would consider to be perfect and the standard for which every phone should last. Unless you torrent on the phone, watch movies and use it as a hand warmer you should never see this phone die on you before bed on an average 14-16 hour day period.

I would kill for that battery life now.
Seriously, if PAC Rom devs doesnt get their shit straight, im switching to Paranoid Android. Every update i do without cleaning everything causes FCs at every corner. Its com.android.phone, or the in-call UI, or Nova Launcher, cellphone doesnt shutdown (it soft-reboots). Seriously, i like the concept but the DEVs seems to be awful. EDIT: Enough of that ROM! Its giving the connection error i had with the 4.3 version of it. I will switch to the mainstream ones instead of that buggy nonsense.
Milk Music is "exclusive to Samsung Galaxy phones" so it would only be natural for my Samsung Galaxy S2 to be incompatible.
Sue for false advertising
Ok then I'm getting a G2. 4 hours including standby bringing you down to 60% is pretty damn good. I would kill for that battery life now.
It really really depends on screen brightness and what you're actually doing, here's my GF's phone which has no serious attempt to save battery with every horrible push service ever and higher screen brightness. 4 hours really ends more around 30-40%. She hasn't ran the battery dead yet on her phone where as 3-4 hours before bed with her GS4 and a 3000mah ZeroLemon battery would generally be dead. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5601782/LG_G2/Screenshot_2014-03-11-01-37-30.png[/t][t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5601782/LG_G2/Screenshot_2014-03-11-01-37-14.png[/t][t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5601782/LG_G2/Screenshot_2014-03-11-01-37-23.png[/t] Honestly, the only complaints I have about the G2 is that the camera burns whites and the external speaker isn't as good as a HTC One but it spaced well for a hand-cup amphitheater. I could also say that it lacks an SD card but 32gb is plenty for me and works far better out of the box. Oh and the Verizon version stole wireless charging as a special feature. Oh, I also have wireless charging added to my phone with a little USB thingy. It's so much better than wearing out the tight USB port on the G2 and struggling to get it plugged in.
Milk Music is "exclusive to Samsung Galaxy phones" so it would only be natural for my Samsung Galaxy S2 to be incompatible.
GJ Samsung for skipping older galaxies that still can do stuff like streaming music and watch movies. I can watch 720P videos on my S1, sure it may drain battery like a bitch but it still got enough processing power do to stuff. I've always hated how developers and such choose to block certain phones from installing even if it most likely can handle the applicaton.

Are they checking if you're using an S2 then blocking it from running, or are they stopping it through making it only support later versions of Android because if that's the case you could get round it with a custom rom
