I can't (Should have sent it though :v:) [editline]21st March 2014[/editline] Now google is reccomending me apps for new parents Can't wait to read up on Breast Feeding
I find Google Voice to be pretty bad. I don't like to give credit to Apple for anything since I don't see their software or hardware as nearly as special as they make it seem but Siri was pretty good at figuring out what I was saying, rarely needed to correct it. Usually Google Voice completely butchers every single text I ask it to send.

They are both completely different things. ...granted Google Voice does have botched voice recognition, but that's only on incoming voice mails. Also, you should be using Google Now's voice function. That usually works pretty damn good, as long as you have an internet connection.

We were able to get it to pick up "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood" pretty fast and it got a dead on response Do really want "Ok Jarvis" working though [sp]I want to be iron man[/sp] [editline]21st March 2014[/editline]
usually works pretty damn good, as long as you have an internet connection.
Only works for me if the internet is present, typing "Open <app>" still functions normally when offline

Even when i'm using insta and facebook most of the day.
Hey, kind of a random question but I thought this would be the most suitable thread to post it in. I am wondering how to put screenshots onto actual phones, anything similar to this image. http://www.xda-developers.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/n4-product-herokau56.png I remember seeing a website that did this but I cannot for the life of me find it. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it.
Pretty sure its photoshop.. i could be wrong though.
Pretty sure its photoshop.. i could be wrong though.
I know it could be done in photoshop, I just distinctly remember there being a dedicated site for this kind of thing that does it quickly, onto different angles and phones automatically. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Also, google's voice commands area mong the most accurate I've ever used. It was the first time I used voice command on a computer and it actually worked.
I'm talking about the thing behind the speech to text on Google Keyboard and Google Search/Now. According to the input settings it's called Google Voice typing- I don't mean the voicemail service. Anyway, I'm done with custom ROMs. PA freezes the entire phone multiple times a day, have to reset it with the power button down for 10 seconds. Installed a GApps update last night and now any time any app tries to use the keyboard it tells me AOSP Keyboard has stopped working.
I tried using Siri on my brothers iPad and it misunderstood 1/2 the things I said. Google Now rarely misunderstands me, unless im mumbling.
Not even some humans can understand mumbling. How do you expect a computer to understand???
Huh, funny. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/67129569/Galaxy Note 8/Hilarious Google Pictures/edited.png[/t] Wish my Note could natively edit screenshots but Samsung wants me to use their shitty market app to get Photo Editor... Then again I got Polaris Office, a full version for free on my Note 8 so haha. I might have to fucking ditch Dropbox as Dropbox's links don't know how to scale images anymore.

Since Drive's 100GB plan is basically "cheaper than water" at this point, could anyone here recommend a third party app to sync your photos folder to Drive? If the app wouldn't look like ass, that would be a big plus. I don't really like G+ photo upload because using the G+ gallery is kinda painful, and I want to get rid of Dropbox for good.
Damn, im still in the look of a coder to fix the old Beach live wallpaper. After placing the libs it fails to load a function of one of them. Only if i knew what other cellphone that had it.

or Or OR I could finally learn how to use Tasker to auto-upload anything from my DCIM/Camera folder to Drive! ... and realize I can't fucking do anything EVER in Tasker just 15 minutes later.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gallery.cloud.sync *cough* *cough*
Doesn't seem like it can just auto-detect new photos and upload them without me having to go to the app and click sync manually, though.

Would you like it to?

I was just about to come back here and make a post about it! Bought the full version, set it up to backup Camera and screenshots (what Dropbox used to do, but with FolderSync it puts them into separate folders as it should be) with instant sync. It looks half ass and half Holo, but seeing as I basically just set it up once and then forget about it, it's not that bad. Time to put my 110GB Drive space to use :v: Gave up on trying to make a Tasker profile like 3 minutes after I installed it. That thing is black magic to me.
tasker just takes like an hour or so to learn i've got it set up so my phone automatically silences when i'm in class (using my gcal), and theres a ongoing notification in case class ends early so i can cancel it also got the best do not disturb that only goes silent when the screens off, stuff like that
