So looking at teardowns of the Nexus 5, I had an idea for making extended batteries like the zerolemon work

Unclip the back cover, clip the extender in with a battery filling up the new space, then the original cover on top. Use pogopins to connect the antennas and a bit of clear plastic for the flash
that would be cool

Google put a redesigned stock camera on the Play store, finally the viewfinder isn't cropped. They also got rid of the radial control thing
They also got rid of the radial control thing
Thank God, that thing was confusing as all hell to use.
i believe it
just saying :~)
and this is why when crypto says something exists, you believe him

Oh finally they replaced the old sweeping panorama mode with a photosphere style one
That always made terrible pictures
[editline]17th April 2014[/editline]
Tried it out, a lot nicer
The blur mode is a pretty trick, and the new panoramas are a million times better

Also if you try and take a video in portrait, this little icon nags you to turn your phone over :v:
Another "leak" of redesigned Google apps, now for Google+

I don't think this is that bad of a battery life. The drop is where I started streaming video over data.
Coolio new Google camera app for my Nexus 5, good since the original app sucked.
Galaxy Note II or LG G2?
[editline]15th April 2014[/editline]
Or maybe HTC One?
I'm heavily leaning towards the G2, I'm going down to sprint tomorrow and getting on the Framily plan with a couple other people.
Note 2 is too big, I vote G2.
So, I have choices for my next phone (which will be Android).
HTC One (2013) for free in about 6 months time,
or a Moto G for £130 in about 2 months time.
Zing for the former, or Useful for the latter.

Is it true?
It cant be.
Im glad i built that bunker, now i just need to wait for the apocalypse.
Went back to CyanogenMod. Only ROM for my phone now that get support other than official TouchWiz, and, well, fuck TouchWiz.

Don't forget all the lovely people that donated to the anti-potato fund ;)

I'm of course super thankful that such a fund happened :-)
Now what to do with the potato...
Record a video with the Nexus of you introducing it to a hammer.
Let me try running servers and doing various other things I mentioned a while back first!
MKBHD did a review on the S5

photo blur thing is pretty cool not gonna lie

don't want to complain too much, but i'm still having battery issues with my S5. Very light usage over the past 2 and a half hours and its down 13%. Should I think about getting a replacement?
[editline]17th April 2014[/editline]
funny, right after i posted that i read somewhere that i should let the battery cycle a half-dozen times. i'll shut up till then.
[editline]17th April 2014[/editline]
time to download GTA:SA to drain this sucker fast!

Very much so, excuse what is the galaxy nexus camera, but the fact it works on even this is very awesome.

Now what to do with the potato...
Usually at school, we throw it from the second floor, use it as a soccerball, then cut it in half (Or completely break it).
But yeah, the hammer idea is pretty nice, think of all the anger you can, then dispose of it in your potato. Just like im about to do with my Galaxy Y as soon as my brother stops using it.
So what should I try now? Try to flash a CWM recovery image to it using Odin? I've avoided CWM because it's not supported on my device and I couldn't find a good replacement for it.
[editline]16th April 2014[/editline]
Ok I've been flying blind the entire fucking time. In order to install Kitkat 4.4, I need to at least have TWRP 2.6.3.0 OR CWM 6.0.4.5 installed. I've got version 2.2.1
Oh well, at least I managed to come this far to not brick the device yet.
I am a motherfucking DUMBASS. As soon as I'm finished with school I'll make a attempt to flash a modified version of CWM onto it using Odin.
Speaking of which, I had the problem that you have to download a certain script file, which Windows keeps reading as a .txt file, making it unreadable for Odin, is there some way to solve that?
