Usually at school, we throw it from the second floor, use it as a soccerball, then cut it in half (Or completely break it).
But yeah, the hammer idea is pretty nice, think of all the anger you can, then dispose of it in your potato. Just like im about to do with my Galaxy Y as soon as my brother stops using it.
im gonna run a server or something until it breaks, then apply hammer.
Hmm in the name of giving phones a second life (or not at all), what should I do with my Galaxy S Plus when I retire it?
I didn't realize that the Facepunch app still gets updated. I wish it had a pull-out menu though.

no
cut it in half
I didn't realize that the Facepunch app still gets updated. I wish it had a pull-out menu though.
And it actually works now. When did it start working?
And now that it's working, it seems to be up to date with threads and posts now.

Whoa. It's been ages since it last worked hasn't it? Like, 9 months or something?
You'll get a notification when its available and update through the phone (settings->about phone->system updates), though you'll lose root when you do it.
You could also download the OTA zip and install it that way (which is the only way to do it if you are running a custom recovery), but you would still lose root
But since my boot loader is now unlocked, I shouldn't have to worry about any of my data, sure I lose root permissions, but it'll be back eventuality right!
I love it when iOS users ask how I did something (Like photosphere) and I tell them it's Android only. It's one of the best feelings in the world.

Even simple stuff like watching movies off a hard drive
On Android you just stick it into an OTA adapter and use a media player
On iOS you have to buy a special adapter, buy a USB splitter with two female ends, plug the hard drive into one, plug a USB power adapter or external battery into the other, then jailbreak your device and install a bunch of things to make it work
And I'm fairly sure then it only works on iPads

hey guys,
In my comp sci class our summative can be an android app.
Sooo should I give a shot at making an FP mobile app for Android?

Use it as a media player. That's what I will do when I'm replacing the regular Galaxy S I use, I'll probably replace it next year.
no
cut it in half
when it actually dies, let me take it to a firing range when I go to the States. That way it can get hit like a hammer and be cut in half at the same time.

About two months ago, geel rewrote it to use the Labpunch API.

I'm wondering whether I should flash LeanKernel. I'm on CM11 nightlies (for d2lte/d2att) and it seems like the CM kernel has been deteriorating over the last month. Random reboots, random slowdown issues (like 5 FPS slowdown), and random temperature increases.
Sweet, time to check it out.
Bam. Go into sprint for a new phone, walk out with a free tablet. The (atractive) manager in the store was nice enough to get us a huuge discount for a bunch of stuff and several hundred dollars in credits on our account. We had to deal with Tmobile a bit and they were assholes, very unhelpful, while the people from sprint were happy to help us out. Would highly recommended.
I got a G2, my brother got the M8, his girlfriend also got a G2 and my mom and sister both got gal S4's
We got two galaxy tab 3s, one for me at my apartment, and one for my mom.

They also hooked us up with someone elses framily plan to get us the full discount.
Anyone have a link to the post about the Pixelation wallpaper unlock code? Not sure how many pages it's been since it was last posted. :P

Fuck.
Sorry, this code has expired.
Just tried the google chrome remote access app and, wow, if the internet from school is fast, someone will use its PC from school.
So! On my galaxy Tab 3 im trying to setup multiple user accounts but when I try and setup a new account it throws constant gapps/10 random other apps have failed/stopped responding messages and im unable to setup any other user accounts. Google doesnt tell me much, but I am slightly intoxicated so ill try on that front again tomorrow. If anyone has any idea what the problem might be it would be greatly appreciated.
You guys think the Nexus 4 will stop receiving OS support this year from Google? I just got it last year and the phone is tremendously great

Even if they don't I'm sure the community will.

I know that but just seeing if Google will still. I run on Omni so I know they will always have me covered hopefully
[editline]18th April 2014[/editline]
Plus Omni is a major god send, battery life no longer drains with 3G on (even in idle) and really boosted performance

I think they might since the only reason they stopped galaxy nexus support is because the company that made the cpu stopped making mobile processors so Google didn't have right drivers for it to work perfectly.

Never heard of anyone watching a video on their phone off a hard drive, if you want to watch it from the iphone or ipad, you just use the usb cable supplied and transfer through itunes. The video might need converting depending on the format

Some people have a metric fuckload of movies, somebody's actually asked me for help getting their hard drive working on an iPad
I don't understand why you'd want to do it either, but there's always that small niche of people who want to run Linux on a PS3, or use their phone as a serial terminal
This thing is brilliant - now almost every photo can be so ~artsy~

That looks pretty shit though. The blur is all over the place.
