Thank you guys for the useful tips regarding screen protectors! Just applied it and it's almost perfect, there is just a tiny piece of dirt in the bottom corner but I can ignore that. Or is it possible to lift it up without getting dirt under it and removing that shit?
Get some tape and put it on that corner of the screen protector, then get some more tape. Lift the tape on the corner to peel back the small portion where the dust is and use the other tape to remove the dust or dirt.

I've seen protectors where the same type of scotch tape left a mark, and some where it just removed the dirt and the protector was then perfect. So your results may vary.
I have a glass one coming in the mail, I wonder how good or bad it is and how much of a pain in the ass to install..
Hey new phone question incoming So my iPhone's LCD screen suddenly decided to break (not even the glass, I seriously have no idea how it happened) and I'm strongly considering switching over to Android if my warranty doesn't cover the screen. My girlfriend's got a Galaxy S4 and it's incredibly slick, so I've been leaning towards that model, but I've heard rumors about the Galaxy S5 being on the horizon so I figure I'd be better off waiting. Problem is I can't really go without a phone for that long, and given there's no release date announced I have no idea if I can wait or not. So a few specific questions: 1. Would it be worth getting a Galaxy S4 with the Galaxy S5 so close to release? 2. Is there any chance that Verizon would offer me a cheap upgrade to a Galaxy S5 if I get an S4 now? 3. Are there any other Android phones in the same class that you could recommend?
I'm gonna use that notification icon thing I used earlier, the Nexus percentage thing on the battery icon isn't very visible. Like who's idea was it to make the percent digits white on a white background.
They're white on a white background till it gets below 75%. I'd rather hide it till it was less 75% than have it on all the time.

What they would do is make the s4 cheaper to get since the s5 is coming out. The s5 has a handful of features that the s4 doesn't have so you're really better off either getting the s4 and having matching phones with your girlfriend or yet the s5 whenever it comes out. Don't bother getting the s4 and then upgrading, it's not really worth it.
Welp, change of plan. My dad's getting a 4S and I'll be getting his HTC One in about 2-3 days, gg wp.
Why on earth would you go from an HTC one to a 4s? Isn't the 4s almost twice as slow?
Why on earth would you go from an HTC one to a 4s? Isn't the 4s almost twice as slow?
His DAD is getting a 4S, HE is getting his DAD's HTC One. At least that's what he said.

I can't get Depthy to work. It extracted the images but it won't give me a parallax view. Anyone tried it?
Thanks
I'd say use scotch tape instead of duct tape, but otherwise I've used that method with reasonable success as well.
Thats what the shop I bought my phone and tablet at did whent they put a screen protector on the tablet.
if you plan on doing photography or filming with the m7 you will hate yourself
How bad is it? No matter how bad it is, I suppose getting it means I can get a 3DS XL instead  THE HYPE IS REAL
if you plan on doing photography or filming with the m7 you will hate yourself
The video camera mode isn't too bad, there's also image stabilization that's optical. Its supposedly good in low light too.
any other GS5 owners experiencing this problem? it happens pretty much daily for me. [t]http://share.manandtumor.com/cx7rD.png[/t]
I get this problem quite a lot except I'm using a GS2 4.4.2, it's been a while since I've done a factory reset even though I've changed firmwares so I put it down to that. Google camera also crashes if I even attempt to enter the settings.
