Tweezers, tooth pick, bobby pin, canned air, something else small and pointy
turn your phone off if you are using something conductive
shorting usb pins is bad
Got a ton of lint out with a toothpick, but it was not even the problem.
TURNS OUT my little sister unplugged the extension cord by accident.
At least I have a cleaner phone now.

My "proof" would be an eight hour long video of me attempting to even dent it.
It would end with me giving up on the "smash" part and melting it in a vat of molten metal.
I heard those Nokia phones are bullet proof
Why not Z2?
I've never had a chance to use a Sony phone since I've never met anyone with one. I've touched a Z1 and I thought it was too big with too little screen. IMO if you want a brick of a study phone, go for a Z2 then. I just feel like it's a bit of a niche market.
I'm absolutely in love with my LG G2 and everything about it, so I might be slightly bias in disregarding Sony.
After looking at the specs I kinda feel like the Z2 is a totally unneeded/useless phone compared to the Z1. However, if you're looking for a something new with great battery life and has the sturdy feel, the Z2 seems like a great phone.
Unless you can trade with someone for a bit of cash(less than $50) or something who doesn't like their M8/G2/Z2/N5/S4, don't even bother and hold out for the G3.
The Z2 seems like the most well rounded phone.
The only flaw seems to be that it is just a BIT too big and has a dimmer screen than the M8 and S5.
Besides that, it has good colors, good speakers, a not terrible skin, a good camera, and is waterproof.
I really want Google to keep on pushing Google wallet into Canada and have those tap to pay with your phone using nfc. I rarely see any places with it in Canada aside from Starbucks.

blame mastercard, not google
they're the ones that provide the payment terminals with PayPass, which is what Wallet uses

They are stupid rare where I live anyway, so its not just Canada. The only place I've seen that even accepts wireless transactions period is Kum & Go (yes its an actual Midwest gas station chain before you ask).

The one thing I love the most about the Xperia Z1/Z2,
Don't need to open flaps, nor is it like a magnetic charging pad.

But proprietary cable?
No, awesome cable
[editline]23rd April 2014[/editline]
Considering I just took out a ton of lint from my phone, I like the idea of a flap over the usb port, even though my phone did not even have a problem with all the lint
But proprietary cable?
Proprietary but should work I think for the Z,Z1,Z2,ZU,X Tab Z, or X Tab Z2. Or everything but the XZ.
Plus it still has micro usb port but it's under a flap.
I wish we'd picked a standard magnetic data/charge cable rather than micro usb, it'd be so much more convenient

Convenience over speed?
Neveeeer.
Also if a device doesn't use a micro b, immediately it's a worse model unless it's got a faster/greater benefit .
HOLY SHIT the red Nexus 5 is gorgeous.

Not only is the OnePlus One cheap, its looks fucking sexy as well. And runs Cyanogen!

Look at that UI
UIs a bit too WP8 looking for me, feels like its lost its Android identity imo so I'd flash something else
The specs are nice though. How is the camera comparing to others?
I want a OnePlus One, shame it'll never be on EE in the UK.

Is EE a special 4G? 1+ claims to be worldwide 4G compatible

I meant that EE will never offer it on Contract. I'd have to find a third party seller/buy it outright.
Welp on my Z2 now. Gonna be weird getting used to android again. Forgot how much bloat there was on android phones!

Root + Flash custom rom = bloat be gone.

$300 outright is not much.
(They offer the Nexus 5 outright for around $670 outright/unlocked at Telstra :suicide:)
I like how the one plus one requires invites to get it.
The Glaring problem with the OnePlus One is the availability.
They've built too much hype up to meet demand at launch, bad move imo, especially for a small company.
I like it when companies release products on the announcement day, or just a few days after.

I got the 32gb for $450 off Google play, just using a $30/month BYO Telstra plan
Shithouse data limits but it's enough for me

Me and a friend trying to figure out why the Oneplus one is so cheap
My bets are on absolute shit hardware. Some unbranded Chinese battery, rejected displays (Dead pixels / tinting), old as hell other components. Anything they could make cheaper without being noticed
They do a limited run of cherry picked models with no flaws to reviewers, get some glowing reviews on top of the massive hype, take in preorders and then release all the shit ones
Finally got everything set up on my new N5.
The display is fucking breath taking compared to the N4. I didn't get what people meant when they said that the N4 was washed out, but I came to it from a Galaxy S2 which was WAY oversaturated, so the N4 looked alright to me. But putting it next to the N5, that's some damn difference right there.
The OnePlus One has the back button on the right and a menu button on the left, no multitasking button. No thanks, I'm happy with my Nexus 4.
