It's not about brand. If you have bubbles you can't push out, either the film is not actually flat/properly curved, or you have dust. Hinge method to apply, then use tape to remove dust.

Screw nuclear weaponry! Music-playing HTC launchers will be the newest destruction plan!
Seriously why don't all mobile devices have speakers on the front?
Galaxy Note 2 Camera: Good 'nough for cat fotos, good 'nough 4 me. Of course the camera picked up the hair on her nose and these photos aren't as adorable anymore :C
Got my S4 successfully rooted today. As it turns out, it helps to use the USB ports on the motherboard, rather than front side ports or ports on a card reader. It's not quite a one-click root, but it's easy enough to swap kernels, root, and swap back to the stock kernel. Still waiting on a proper de-bloat guide or bootstrap and a good ROM.
Get a screen protector, it's cheap and saves your screen from many bumps and scratches.
Spigen SGP Steinheil ultra oleophobic, ultra optic or Glas.T get my vote for top 3 screen protectors on any device ever
How do those glass screen protectors not screw up the touch screen? I've never understood it. And speaking of, what screen protectors do you recommend for the S3? I have a tiny scratch on mine and I don't feel like getting any more.

[t]http://puu.sh/2ZSPM/1169355d2a.png[/t] I feel like for the huge battery of the Note I should be doing a little better...
I never understand how I scratch my screens. I have a deep scratch in my S2 screen which distorts the colors and a few, smaller ones on my Padfone 2. Thing is, they're never near sand, rocks or anything sharp at all which might scratch them up. :v:
keys?
I always leave my phone alone in its own pocket to avoid stuff like keys or any other objects I might carry.
I always leave my phone alone in its own pocket to avoid stuff like keys or any other objects I might carry.
This is a good idea. I always keep my personal phone in it's own pocket, plus a screen protector, and scratches aren't really a problem. But, I kept my work phone in the same pocket as my keys for a year, and the damn thing looks like I went over it with coarse grit sandpaper.
I always leave my phone alone in its own pocket to avoid stuff like keys or any other objects I might carry.
same here but there's still dents and scratches on it
How do those glass screen protectors not screw up the touch screen? I've never understood it. And speaking of, what screen protectors do you recommend for the S3? I have a tiny scratch on mine and I don't feel like getting any more.
To answer this requires a basic understanding of how these touch screens work. Most modern touch screens are capacitive.
A capacitive touchscreen panel consists of an insulator such as glass, coated with a transparent conductor such as indium tin oxide (ITO).[22][23] As the human body is also an electrical conductor, touching the surface of the screen results in a distortion of the screen's electrostatic field, measurable as a change in capacitance. Different technologies may be used to determine the location of the touch. The location is then sent to the controller for processing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Touchscreen#Capacitive
The glass or plastic protector you buy doesn't disrupt the electrostatic field, and the electrons can freely flow through it. So because the protector can't disrupt the flow electrons, the touch screen can function normally.
Stupid pocket dwarves. Not only do they mess up my ear pieces, but they also mess up my god damn phone and other peoples phone.
same here but there's still dents and scratches on it
You'd be surprised how well seemingly smooth surfaces can scratch up a surface. Skip to about 6 minutes in. This is in context of CDs but the same concept applies. Basically having the thing sit in your pocket makes it rub against the fabric and little dust particles in the air. Over time it's gonna develop scratches. It's basically unavoidable.
I don't think dust is capable of making deep scratches in the screen which has nearly penetrated through to the actual display. My S2 has one of those.
Finally got 4.2.2 running on my galaxy S with root, happiest day of the month
Which ROM are you running? I find CM10.1 heaps slower than CM10 for some reason
With screen protectors, it really depends on the environment. I live in west texas, and its a very dirty environment. Like, sandblasters for dust storms. Screen protectors are a must.
By the way, while we're here talking about protectors and shit, does anybody know about a snazzy looking case for the Galaxy S4 on the cheap? Mine comes in the mail on Tuesday and I want to be ready to go with a screen protector and case. [editline]23rd May 2013[/editline] http://www.spigen.com/galaxy-s4-case-neo-hybrid.html I'm eying this.
