Did they not give you a tracking number?
It's a "global tracking number" that's apparently specific to eBay itself. UPAAA0000000********
EDIT: I just realized I should probably post this in sipwicket, although it does pertain to an Android part being shipped to me
EDIT: this person is having the same problem; eBay has only given them a "global" (Pitney Bowes) tracking number
(Pitney Bowes provides the insurance and the "shipping software" but they don't actually ship anything)

It won't cover the entire front glass (some space around edges) but it'll do a damn good job otherwise
Is my battery life within expected results?

I feel like for the huge battery of the Note I should be doing a little better...
It's alot better than my S3 battery, mine dies within 8 hours of being unplugged.

Install BetterBatteryStats and find out why you lose so much battery. Battery should last a couple days

Ah thought it was a paid only app, just found the official free version on the XDA forums. Tried using it before but I think it was just how much I used my phone that kills the battery.

Another alternative that (IMO) is better is GSam Battery Monitor. It's a lot simpler to read and probably easier to use to pinpoint what's killing your battery.
BBS is still the best solution though.
Which ROM are you running? I find CM10.1 heaps slower than CM10 for some reason
CyanAOSP - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2075637
Seems to be pretty fast to me, then again im comming from a 600mhz 250mb android 2.2 phone
It's raw metal unlike the older phones like the Desire HD that have this hard anodization that really had a great feel to it.
I was actually expecting it to be a bit more rough and maybe a little resistance from the metal when you drag your finger across the back, but hey that's just me!
It still feels really nice in the hand and I'm going get one when I get to know if I got into the university I wanted or not.

I use GSam, it's great
Should I root my Nexus 4?
I don't see a point in changing ROM to cyanogenmod as it disables some features and I don't think I will gain any benefit from doing it? What do you guys think?
Should I just root and not install a ROM or root and install a ROM?
If so, what should I root to?

I think you should. I've been having a great experience with bigfoot ROM along with the latest Franco kernal nightly. Good performance and great battery life.
What is considered the best ROM and kernal? Also do I loose a lot of features with Cyanogen?

Yeah CyanAOSP is built specifically for performance so you should expect it to be as fast as possible.

You lose features going from stock Android to Cyanogen? Think of Cyanogen as Stock Android++. It is exactly the same just with more stuff.
Yeah I thought you did anyway. My girlfriends S2 is on the latest Cyanogenmod nightly and she can't use Google Now. But I'm not sure if that's because the S2 isn't meant to have it or something I don't know.
And I thought if you go to Cyanogenmod on nexus 4 you lost the camera ability to do the photosphere or something?

Is she on the latest cm 10 or the latest cm10.1 nightly?

My S1 is on CM10.1 and has Google Now and photosphere and all that. Only stuff you lose with CM would be any manufacurer ROM additions like gestures on TouchWiz etc
Shes on the newest nightly, I formatted the phone yesterday and installed Cyanogenmod and it was the newest nightly out, so maybe that's why!
And holy fuck your S1 has photosphere!? I didn't think Cyanogenmod put Photosphere onto non Nexus devices, that's cool.
So I should get Cyanogenmod for the Nexus 4?
Just stupid question here but, when people say kernel, are they referring to what thing they used to root their Nexus? If so, what Kernel should I be going for here

Fixed it just for you, now any chance of an answer ha?
1) This is what a kernel is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kernel_(computing) (image explains it best imo)
2) Regarding the best kernel, this comes down to user preference. For my Nexus 4, I'm using the m+ kernel which is the best for me. Improves battery life, keeps the super-high performance of the N4 AND reduces heat.
And holy fuck your S1 has photosphere!? I didn't think Cyanogenmod put Photosphere onto non Nexus devices, that's cool.
Cyanogenmod doesn't do that since there's no source code for the photosphere feature, but you can flash a photosphere camera on its own.
edit: However for Nexus devices, I believe CM/gapps does keep the "photosphere enabled" camera, unless you really want the CM one (CM camera has more options, the photosphere one is more basic, but with photosphere)
II gotta start saving up for that stock Android HTC One.
new Gmail interface out of nowhere

So do you think its worth upgrading to Cyanogenmod?
Also, my girlfriends S2 with Cyanogenmod 10.1 can't play Simpsons tapped out, says it just crashes her phone or she has to do a reset or some shit, any ideas why that could happen?

I could've sworn it was kernal. I guess this is where my bad english skills come in to play.
So do you think its worth upgrading to Cyanogenmod?
That depends. Do you want more customization features? Ability to change the Quick Settings tiles, add shortcuts to your lockscreen/change your navbar/your "home button pull-up circle" (where Google Now shortcut is by default)? Ability to hide the navbar completely and use pie controls?
If the answer to at least one of these is yes, go ahead. Otherwise I don't think there is much point.

also, masturbate, not masterbate. Two of the most common mistakes I see when people write in English.
And holy fuck your S1 has photosphere!? I didn't think Cyanogenmod put Photosphere onto non Nexus devices, that's cool.
Well I had CM camera and official Gapps camera installed to test. Photosphere doesn't work well (can't pan properly) on the S1 due to no gyro so I have to just use panoramic. JB Camera+ is basically the same as CM camera
I dunno really I think I'd prefer just to root it so I get better battery and all that stuff.
Today, i played Carmageddon on a friend's Ace Plus.
Best sensation ever!

you must read about masturbating a lot
I dunno really I think I'd prefer just to root it so I get better battery and all that stuff.
Rooting does not give you better battery. Rooting gives you administrator privileges.
Kernels may give you better battery, but it depends on what each kernel changes.
Seriously, where do people get this "root = better battery" nonsense? Not the first time I heard someone associating rooting with improved battery life.
Today, i played Carmageddon on a friend's Ace Plus.Best sensation ever!
I'd love for the android version to have some local multiplayer. We were 5 people sitting in a circle and playing a few days ago. I'd forsee Burnout levels of people crashing into each other and occasional punches
