I use minus and i love it.
And again nobody answered me :( I was asking about Nexus 7. Should I get it now or wait if there's gonna be new version and can I really plug in USB gamepad and use it on emulators/other native games?

filesmelt doesn't allow porn

Well how many times do you upload porn pictures?
I thought FileSmelt didn't give a fuck about what you upload. It was just a generic file host
That's a private link :v:
rest assured that the day will come when I find a way to upload my animated photos [editline]25th May 2013[/editline] http://filesmelt.com/dl/20130524214141.gif this had better work. linked it because it would destroy the page
I thought it was rooting that gave you better battery. So is it the kernel that gives you better battery? Or mainly the rom? I really don't know what to do I just sort of want better battery and have the nexus not heat up as much
A good kernel will give you better battery life. Rooting doesn't really do anything in itself, except give you permission to do other things. The kernel controls power management, so it can do things like keep the CPU speed low when idle, and a good kernel can also decrease kernel wakelocks.
Why is every image host terrible in some way :v: Imgur has a tiny limit and compresses shit to hell if it's too big, filesmelt doesn't allow porn, puush deletes images that don't get used, dropbox is clunky for image hosting, Imgkk goes down fairly often, and niggaupload is dead
Dropbox works very well for image hosting. The thing is, it doesn't give you a "public" folder anymore by default (you have to enable that somewhere in the options of your account) ; and only the public folder allows for direct hotlinking of stuff
you must read about masturbating a lot
hey, don't judge :v:
and niggaupload is dead
RIP niggaupload. It looked like it was the only no-bullshit picture host. :( [editline]25th May 2013[/editline] WAIT WHAT. http://jesusfuck.me/ Is this the niggaupload interface?
Awesome marketing trick.
the forced perspective on the google iOS app icons really bugs me
I was actually expecting it to be a bit more rough and maybe a little resistance from the metal when you drag your finger across the back, but hey that's just me! It still feels really nice in the hand and I'm going get one when I get to know if I got into the university I wanted or not.
I'm pretty sure that only happens with the black model because that's the one that has the anodized finish. [editline]25th May 2013[/editline]
I got my Spigen oleophobic screen protector. I put too much faith in my ability to apply these things. Dust on the first try, threw that one out. Second one has some dust near the edges but it's not awful so I'm not gonna do anything about it. Damn great protector though, really is oleophobic. Put the aluminium home button on to cover the Verizon logo. Now just waiting for the case to arrive from China sometime hopefully next week...
I told you man, you need to do the hinge method.
the forced perspective on the google iOS app icons really bugs me
Get an android phone then. :v:
On the topic of potatophones, Just tried starting my old Wildfire (always good to have a phone that's not too valuable). Start it up for the first time in a year. Still some battery, can log into old deactivated sim, music in the playlist and it instantly connects to wifi Not too slow ether. Time to see what it still can do [editline]25th May 2013[/editline] It's actually surprisingly quick and responsive [editline]25th May 2013[/editline] Feels a bit odd to go back to the S3 now
So I have a Kindle Fire with a dead pixel and it sucks. Is there a way I can flash the normal OS and un-root the Kindle Fire and keep it in warranty or am I fucked? I bought it in July last year so it should still be in that 1 year warranty. Original 7" Kindle Fire, by the way.

Facepunch user SweFox* also made ImgFox though I admit I'm not as familiar with it as I am with the other two I linked.

Unless there are some really obvious signs of it being rooted, for instance the yellow triangle on Samsung phones.
I'm pretty sure that only happens with the black model because that's the one that has the anodized finish.
Really? That's perfect since I'm going to be getting the black version!
i accidentally added a feature to my phone if I wanted to know what percentage of my data cap i've used this month all i have to do is hold the status bar
Holy god damn. Didn't know my phone had emergency alerts set up, so when the Amber alert in Longmont went off I freaked out about my phone sounding like one of those broadcast TV alerts.
My phone doesn't seem to do that. I'm not sure if it's because I need to set it up or if it's because the authorities in my area need to set it up.
Does anyone here has an phone with JB 4.1 or 4.2 to test an app for me? If yes, PM me please.
Does anyone here has an phone with JB 4.1 or 4.2 to test an app for me? If yes, PM me please.
PMed you.
God damn I am so close to buying a black HTC One.
Awesome marketing trick.
"I wanted the verizon version" "Fuck you, kid."
God damn I am so close to buying a black HTC One.
Do it, it's an amazing phone. Would recommend a case though since the black collects fingerprints.
i got a black htc one but i didnt think it through very well because when i leave that little aluminum box in my car in the arizona summer for more than a minute i need gloves to pick it back up
i got a black htc one but i didnt think it through very well because when i leave that little aluminum box in my car in the arizona summer for more than a minute i need gloves to pick it back up
Put it in the console/glovebox/your pocket.
Invest in a sun shield, it made a world of difference in my car. No more scalding steering wheel!
