I imagine if Nokia hadn't been purchased by Microsoft and did Android phones instead of Windows Phone they'd be one of the top smartphone sellers

But wouldn't have made as much profit.

Samsung Nexus s6 in full plastic, ui designed by XDA.
google made nexus pls
Do you really want a $1500 Nexus?
google made nexus pls
Google designed, HTC made. I doubt google have the resources to make a phone themselves.

It would be not avaliable in several countries.
My phone seems to not want to allow su permissions anymore.. its rooted and has su and a superuser apk, but prompts me to update su which then fails because the manifest fails to download..
Any idea?
Maybe try rerooting it?
Maybe try rerooting it?
Whats the easiest way to root it without having to reflash?
What's wrong with reflashing?
But wouldn't have made as much profit.
They made no profit with Windows Phone.
That Android Wear stuff looks pretty neat.
But...
But.....
I actually have to use my phone regularly at work making business calls.
And yes I have herd that the arc from a stick welder can damage electronics, this is mainly in pacemakers and stuff. But I've had my old phone on its belt clip on the side of my welding helmet (on the inside) so I can hear it ring with it being ~6 inches from a arc and it still works great to this day.
I'd almost be tempted to get a dumbphone. Or, if you're okay with being kind of douchey, a cheap bluetooth headset so you can keep your phone in your back pocket or somewhere else that's safer. Nobody will see it under your helmet anyway.

Takes me a couple of hours to get my phone back to the state its currently in..
So,
4.4.4

you just reflash superuser.zip?
not the entire thing lol
i believe we will see a n6, I'm also betting on a new Nexus 8, seeing as N7 prices have dropped in some places.
i doubt we will see a new nexus 10.
I really don't think Google would profit highly from releasing a 801 device. I would hope that they wait until we actually see the new SoC's instead of selling us what people bought last year. The One/S4 were 600 phones so the M8/S5 were pretty logical although not a crazy upgrade. LG's only doing it because the G2 was more of a prototype of their new direction and design which they've improved on and perfected coming from their older terrible phones. With this G3 release they've also aligned themselves with the HTC/Samsung release schedule instead of Apple/Google's.
The Nexus 8 is possible IMO though.

According to a friend of mine this would equate to about $700+ in overages on Verizon :v:

Boy, I'm sure glad I have T-Mobile so I can watch 120gb of Netflix on my Chromecast!
I looked into switching to T-Mobile today. Unlimited 4G data for $80/mo sounded pretty good.
Except my town and anywhere within a 40 minute radius driving is 2G-only. If you go north, south, or west from my location it's 2G only for anywhere from 1-1/2 to 2 hours away.
If they actually, ya know, covered me, I'd switch to them in a heart beat.
Just got 4.4.4 OTA, seems like just bug fixes.

My brothers M8 got an update on like monday, it fixed all his connectivity issues.
yeah, OpenSSL fixes'n'shit. OTA's rolling out to relevant Nexii (fuck you I'll still use the word Nexii, I like it), factory images available.

t-mo customers rejoice, music streaming services will soon not count towards your data cap

I've been using this since back when it was called Zscreen. probably the most useful thing I've ever installed

Other T-Mobiles.. soon.. please?
Music streaming is like 80% of my data usage
Just 1 more week until my 2 year contract with Verizon ends. I'm thinking of getting a Nexus 5, since I doubt they're gonna show off a new phone at I/O. I saw Nexus 5 for $250 once, but by the time I noticed it, the deal was over, and I don't have the money to pay $350-400 for a new phone. One things for sure I'm not going on contract again.
