Welp, I haven't used an android phone since early 2010 and I'm picking up a cheap and cheerful android phone soon, I'm so unfamiliar with phones :v:

Which phone are you getting? Or are you looking for recommendations?
My pressy just arrived.

I thought I ordered a Kickstarter green color one but eh.
Edit: wow this app is either buggy or I got a faulty pressy, o can't do long presses, it says that I try to do one long press and two Short presses everytime I try to do a long press. This sucks.
I love how the 2 dollar knockoffs work better according to reviews :v:

Hello guys! Does anyone know where I can watch Google I/O live?

vodafone smart 4 mini, placed a reservation, I'm not a big mobile gamer or anything like that so it's useful for internet etc
i'm just wondering, it comes with jellybean pre-installed although it isn't the highest-end phone hardware wise, would upgrading to the newest version of android yield any performance increase or would it result in a decrease in performance?

I'm guessing they will use YouTube Live for it so it will show up there when it's live.
Also does the Chromecast support YouTube Live now?
If they are using YouTube Live then I sure hope they allow germans to watch it. Normally next to all Live videos are blocked in germany.

I kickstarted it too. I'm unfortunately not excited for it. Though the app activated itself on me so I've been able to test it with headphones, the app seems okay enough. Mine should be here today.

Maybe they're finally changing the name to Lagdroid.
Finally, I/O time.
Can't wait to see what features iOS 12 will have after they copy Google.

I see someone's still stuck in Froyo.
The Google IO website broke for me (just gray), but the stream is here:

Seems we might see a complete redesign which also includes the soft-keys.
Google is definitely fucking smoking crack, with that countdown clock setup.
The clock's using the new font to replace Roboto.
Anybody getting sound
Accidently showed a image of Android 5...
It's pretty looks like what we've seen
Sundar is wearing a moto 360

Wait so that's the next Android?

I hate it
Finally fixed the calculator
Eh, I like the look but I hate slow animations/transitions like these.
I was hoping that the buttons would physically stick out of the screen
Wow, the new app design is really beautiful. I hope it is anywhere near as smooth as the video shows. I have to wonder about that depth and shadow stuff. The colours are really nice though
