Mine actually is decent at tailoring to my interests. Top is shortcut to tracking information for a package I'm waiting for. Pulled from my email. Then some news about AVGN. Then some information about a Bluetooth receiver (I googled that literally 30 minutes ago). A Simtropolis posting about a Simcity 4 fix for Windows 7 (I was googling Win98 fixes but w/e) And links about "material design" since I googled that earlier today. Then the weather. Mine tends to be pretty good about not putting shit in there that isn't relavent in any way.
THIS FUCKING SHIT "we're sorry, gmail cards aren't currently available on a Google Apps email" google, do you want me to have a shitty email address or what seeing how first.last@gmail was taken a long time ago
I think I have 3 different first.last@gmail addresses
do people actually have all this contact info and pictures and stuff for their contacts? because I dont
Yeah, from facebook, google+, skype sync.

[editline]26th June 2014[/editline] Also people with OLED screens are going to have absolutely no battery life if they install Android L

I find Google Now pretty poor. Mostly just use it for voice search... I'm to and from London on pretty regular basis at the moment and it's constantly telling me it'll take 10 hours to cycle home at random points in the day. There are also three places I'd consider and would like to list as 'home' but obviously you're only allowed one as it stands. Also the parcel tracking in the UK is really hit and miss. Often it'll just acknowledge the existence of a parcel but won't actually say if it's dispatched or processing or give any tracking info whatsoever. The exploration cards are pretty nice when you're in a city. All in all it seems like a pretty premature and basic service for anyone who's not American and not doing a traditional 9 to 5.

OLED displays have problems with blue.
does anybody know if vodafone have any unlimited data plans? otherwise, how does unlocking work? i'm terrible with phones :v:
OLED displays have problems with blue.
They have pretty much 2-3x TDP when displaying white compared to LCD.
The next update to our Mobile Banking app, due this summer, is designed not to work on jailbroken or rooted devices. This is to help protect our customers' personal information. Customers with a jailbroken or rooted device will still be able to sign into Mobile Banking through their mobile browser, but won’t be able to use the new app. We also prevent use of the app from devices on which we think we detect malware.
Can you not Halifax?
Start a movement on /r/Android for people to switch banks because of this, and tell them to list this as a reason for leaving or don't I'm a user, not a cop
It's great because that works for about 2 minutes, until you install a tool that hides root from the app :v:
Didn't Deus Ex: The Fall try something like this?
Oh man, the L preview easter egg. http://marlamin.com/u/2014-06-26_18-51-45-6x4Z75m3.mp4 For those that missed the whole Webdriver Torso thing: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsLiV4WJfkTEHH0b9PmRklw Explanation: http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-27778071
Well, today I bought a gwatch Won't be in my hands until maybe 2-3 weeks from now unfortunately Not bad for 260 bucks, was expecting about 280 and then the Australia technology increase on top of that
Switching from PA to Omni, they added in the Moto X style notifications right?
Can anyone confirm that TWRP and Root works on Android L on the Nexus 5?
http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/295ygy/android_l_system_images/cihrghi
list of broken apps so far: dropbox -- crashes on launch helium backup -- fails to enable the backup shit
Decided to solder myself an OTG cable because I had the stuff laying around 3 hours later, I have this horribly whacked together piece of shit that crashes my phone when you plug it in You know what, I'm just going to buy one :v:
friend is running Android L on his Nexus 5, says it's nice so far i'm waiting for a stable release, whenever that is, to move over. i'm happy on 4.4.4 for the time being.
I feel like flashing Android L and ditching PA just to try it out
No lesbians? :(
i dunno, those rectangles look pretty lesbian to me
Looks like Android L is shaping up to have a lot of awesome small features. DNG support sounds quite promising.
Took five minutes for initial boot, but finally ready for initial setup the fuck is English XA?
Currently backing up my Nexus 7 so I can test out Android L. And most importantly, open the "About tablet" screen and be disappointed when the version part probably still says 4.4.4 because they're pretty fucking serious at this point about not committing to a version number. Or maybe it'll just say L, in which case I'll just call it Android L, and forget numbered versions ever existed.

I don't like the weird blue color they're using for tinting the status and action bar It would be nice if you could customize it
