also apparently custom watchfaces are already being made for wear
So after backing up my device and trying to root, I find out that the tool doesn't work for the 4.4.2 update...
Guess I'm stuck with stock on my Note II for a while until someone posts a new rootkit.

Thank you, but people on XDA are saying that towelroot isn't working for them.
Looks like L's navbar is changing it's look again

there's literally no harm in trying it

My phone just rebooted, so it's not giving me any luck either.
My phone, as you all know, was being a piece of shit. So I got the M8.
It's pretty cool.
Tried opening Chrome and going to a website first? My school has something like that, sometimes I don't get the notification, so I just go to some website then it works.
Yeah, everything just times out.

Or that's an older mockup

Make sure you have the "save bandwidth" thing of Chrome disabled, or else it will try to load the login page through the proxy and fail
Doesn't the G3 have worse battery life than the G2 due to the new screen? And she doesn't really need a removable battery or an sd card
And the G3 has no official release date for AT&T, which is what we're on
Most likely somewhat but slightly as the 801 is said to have improved battery life. Welp, okay if they haven't announced that they are getting it yet they probably aren't any time soon....
We use certificates and authentication (802.1x EAP)for the wireless, so there's no gate at all, unless you go into the insecure guest wireless (don't).
But on LAN, there is a login gate, and since I live at the campus, I get this on my pc, which I then ad-hoc /hosted network to my tablet/phone with ICS for internet (Which I also do at free wireless points since you can run a hosted network while on a wireless network)
Exactly the same for ours :v:
If you're using a PC you have to log into (Lab PCs) or the Wifi (Which you use your ID/password for) it automatically uses your credentials, on the mobile computer-y TV things that already have a generic account, it asks you to log in that way
Where's your Uni? I'm at QUT Gardens Point
For whatever reason, using the freedome vpn makes Google play music not stream all access music well. It's painfully slow and takes a while to buffer. Turn off the vpn and it suddenly works fine.

186gb in the last month :v:
How is it even legal to offer less than 1gb of data, it's like having a plan with 15 minutes of talk... If I downloaded something for about 15 minutes, I would run through like 3.5gb. I could literally run over an entire fucking data cap in less than 5 minutes.
Why the fuck is it legal to sell a service which is good for 5 whole minutes?

In Australia, standard plans are between 150MB to 4GB. It's fucking bullshit. Also home internet connections are typically around $100 for 500GB/mth.
Right now I've got a 250GB/month bandwidth cap at home going at 15Mbps and it costs me about $65.
I wasn't told of any such cap when signing up and find it bullshit, but I manage since I'm the only one on it.
Damn it I wish I could tether. I've got unlimited data for my phone, but the largest tethering plan is like 6.5GB for $50.

My school has us type in our login info before we connect to the network, but we still have to go through a webpage with the same info before we can get internet access. Oh, and they have this app that we "need" to download and use before we can connect to the network.

I use about 400-500mb of data a month.

what kind of a birth defect do you have to have to voluntarily select a theme like this?

I'm starting to look at themes and I kinda like a "light" theme over the usual dark.
those fucking navbar and statusbar icons are giving me nightmares.

except the ps2 logo actually looks better
I'd actually love a PS2 themed Android.
The PS2 BIOS/Firmware was pretty as hell.
I want the settings background as a live wallpaper.

I'm actually surprised this is not already a thing.

Can't remember but I remember you having a G2 and Sprint or T-Mobile, I have both of those(sorta) and have both phones from each carrier running PA. The Sprint variant is a bit of a pain in the ass since you have to TOT and a bunch of shit to get a recovery going and all the correct base partitions but it just takes an hour or so and about 5gb worth of files.
