Invites are going like crazy now, already 28k send, to early supporters. I was 13k supporter. If you will wait a little you should get one soon, even faster if you participate in forum and look for people that give away their invites.
so how buggy is cyanogenmod on the nexus 5 it's features sound cool but i can not tolerate bugs on my daily driver phone

I like how there isn't a 32GB version, hurray for more storage!
I tried live streaming off my phone on LTE, it crashed after 40 or so minutes. The quality is crap despite having 20 up.
Its the jitter factor. Mobile can handle bulk data but its not very good with time and consistency reliant data. It gets worse when you combine lots of time sensitive data (ie video streaming).

Noticed something on a game's description Are snapdragons racist :v:
Isnt qualcomm korean? [editline]18th July 2014[/editline] Taiwan, whatever [editline]18th July 2014[/editline] Or..not. I'm an idiot
There's seriously no point in trying to associate countries with companies any longer, they're all based wherever taxes are the best, but they have offices and workers all over the world.
What the hell, I check my phone today and all of my sms are gone. Most recent back up would be the full twrp backup from like a month ago that I have to figure out how to extract and merge.

God damnit wrong thread again. That's the second time in like two weeks.

I blame PA
I blame PA
Clean flash stock! Clean flash stock! Clean flash stock!
After complaining to Rogers about the shitty reception at the Ontario science center, I kept on pushing for compensation and got 100 bonus minutes or unlimited sms. I picked the minutes because I don't sms much and the unlimited sms is text only, not picture/video messaging.
So my OnePlus One finally came and I have to say, it feels really really nice compared to my LG G2. The build quality is really great also, its HTC/Apple quality in my opinion.
Is there any chance you guys got invites to give away? [editline][/editline] Nevermind, didn't know about the 24 hours system.
If you need a car mount, look at the Exomount Touch. In the past two cars that I've had, anything that adhesively mounted to the dash would just fall right off any time the car was parked in the sun. It's even worse in my Cavalier since there's a layer of vinyl or something on the dash so everything mounted to it just bounces around and unsticks itself. The mount I got locally before a trip would droop all the fucking time under the weight of my Galaxy Note 3 and the UAG case. The exomount has this weirdass gel suction cup on the bottom that lets you stick it to the dash directly, even if it's textured and/or curved. I just randomly slapped it on my dash and had a hard time trying to get the thing back off, even with the little tab. It also seems to hold my phone well enough without sagging. Considering it goes for $29, which is what I paid for the shitty one from The Source, I'm really impressed. This sort of sounds like an advertisement, though I'm just happy that I can stick my phone to my dash and not have to worry about it flying screen-down into my cupholders.
no other settings were gone for whatever reason, I wonder what caused it
It's because you lost your central sms database, which is a part of the android system, not an individual application
It's because you lost your central sms database, which is a part of the android system, not an individual application
I know I lost the sms database on my phone, especially if Hangouts reads nothing. Rebooting did nothing either so something happened for it to disappear.
I entered to win a G3. Wish me luck!
Can anyone with a G3 tell me how it feels durability wise? I'm upgrading to it on Verizon next week and I want to know if the Otter Box for it is necessary, I'm not exactly careless when it comes to my phones but I don't want it to shatter on the off chance I drop it.
Going on a road trip soon and I'm being silly thinking if I should put a case on my phone or not..

They just came out, what, last week? Lol I have a G2 which is more or less the same phone with a different screen and camera. I had an otter box...and I hated it. The plastic integrated screen protector didn't do a very good job and it ruined the aesthetics of the phone. Its tough enough that you really don't need that big of a case. I got a spiggen slim armor case and I love it, slayer3032 also has a G2 but you'll have to ask him about cases. Also iirc, the Verizon version is different than everyone else's. I think they have an exclusive built in wireless charger so the phone is shaped slightly different. [editline]18th July 2014[/editline] Well that's the G2 don't know about the G3

I have this crappy "Exogear Exomount"-lookalike holder from china, and while it stays on my windshield like it's afraid of it's life, when I'm on a bumpy road (read: when I go outside in this country), the phone shakes in it enough to make the screen very blurry and hard to read.
