Cyanogenmod's calculator is telling me that the tangent of 90 degrees is approximately 16 quadrillion, among other things. It doesn't let me explicitly divide by zero but this isn't the first glitch I've noticed. How did this even happen
This guy explains it better than I tried
The closest IEEE-754 double value to π/2 is 1.5707963267948965579989817342720925807952880859375. The cosine of that, on standard x86_64 hardware evaluates to 6.123233995736766×10−17. The reciprocal of that is 1.633123935319537×1016.
Basically the calculator tries to do it and just comes up with a wobbly number using really shady math because it wants an answer by any means necessary than just giving up [editline]24th July 2014[/editline] the same thing happens with the google search calculator
Anyone knows a decent application that allows you to get rid of bloatware on a stock ROM? I managed to find a way to get my brother's GT-S5570I working, but I found out that this phone has very little attention by XDA-Developers. I tried ROMs which were all nightly, and the only one that wasn't nightly randomly crashed and caused graphical glitches, so I have to go and flash the stock ROM on it again and just root it.

You can backup the app and then uninstall it. I usually back it up just in case it creates issues. But yes, you will need root.
OK, material design chrome is very very pretty
I like how I'm like 50 meters from a phone tower with full bars of LTE and I only get 15 down

[editline]24th July 2014[/editline]
I thought the sharpness of the screen made it hard to read anything. That's what someone said in this thread like 3 days ago.
It does but I think it has something to do with the stock fonts or stock font rendering possibly. QHD screens are going to need a tweak of some sort. Side by side at the same distance the 1080p screen is far easier to read and the fronts are thicker and what you would expect while the QHD's fonts are thin and smudgy blending into the background and being hard to read. HOWEVER there is this other issue which people are having in which some of the LG G3's have this terrible oversharpening effect. It is very very noticeable and you will see it straight off if it has it. I'm still debating if this is better than the G2 to live with, if you're paying out right or if the G2 is a good deal through your carrier the G2 is by far the best phone on the market still.

Switching between the two feels ever so slightly different, but after doing a side by side and studying, I can't find anything specific. [editline]25th July 2014[/editline] Might be placebo from you saying it

Ordered my G3 from Verizon with overnight shipping yesterday, but the order page still hasn't been updated with a Tracker number for FedEx, I hope it still comes today.

I would seriously consider that £27 HTC One M8 deal if it weren't for the fact it has a data cap on it. Got an artist I listen to constantly on Soundcloud and could do with a deal that has unlimited on it as a result.
Yeah well, you live in Markham... try getting more than 3 Mbps HSPA in Etobicoke...
I did
I met up with Shaun and gave him the honors of peeling off the screen protector that's been on my nexus 5 since day 1. Now my nexus 5 white is 100% naked

Too bad it's USA only.
Too bad it's USA only.
I've heard some people having luck in UK as well.
There is another promo that I assume is Canada only where you get a 60 day trial but i have no idea when that ends.
There is another promo that I assume is Canada only where you get a 60 day trial but i have no idea when that ends.
That was only the first day or two after it came to Canada. Its just 30 days now.
That was only the first day or two after it came to Canada. Its just 30 days now.
No, that was the 90 day trial for Canada. The 60 day one is as a summer promo and you no longer get the cheaper price.
Is that price on the 1+1 16gb flat out for the phone?
