My upgrade is finally available! I have been out of the android news world because I've been bogged down with an iPhone 5 that I finally get to ditch (Battery crappy on me). So what's new and exciting in the world of Android? I'm a former android user so I know I like it. Is the S5 worth getting now or is there something else out there? I know between an S5 and HTC one M8 I'd choose the S5 for me personally but what about other good comparable phones? Price isn't an issue.
Yeah. Worse, he then applied a Galaxy S5 protector perfectly which has all those contours at the top for the sensors and whatnot. This one's just a rectangle. Should've just done it myself, it even comes with an alignment tool.
well you wouldn't get another one if you screw it up, if the guy at the shop screws it up, they will most likely get you a new one. speaking of screen protectors, i took the cheap one I got off eBay off my phone and enjoyed the glorious screen and phone completely naked. The screen protector had a shit ton of scratches and those annoying rainbow streak lines everywhere.

I ruined my Skinomi glass protector last week trying to apply it to my T-Mobile phone, got a bunch of dust onto the adhesive with no way to remove it.

Find what you want most out of your phone, and find what cons your willing to live with or aren't important to you.
Homework is really important with Android. I did not do as much as I should have. All my priorities were screen size, power tab capabilities, and battery life and I'm not sure I chose as wisely as I could have.

I only fucked mine up because I got rid of the static cling plastic bit used to pull dust off. Which brand are you getting?

There's a bunch off ebay but I decided to get the one that also covers the front facing camera just for the looks. I really hated it when it didn't cover it because dust and all sorts of shit gets in it making the phone look bad. Too bad this one doesn't also cover the proximity and light sensor but i guess it would cause issues to the proximity sensor. Oh, that's a Skinomi product, I think, if the image is actually the exact stuff you got. Same protective film and stuff as the one I ordered off Amazon. That blue piece of plastic is what I wish I'd kept. In other news, the Tech21 Impact Tactical case I got today is really comfortable. Adds a fair bit of grip to the One M8, although not as much as a standard 'gummy' case. Surprisingly thin too, adds very little girth to the phone.
I have no idea what the blue piece of plastic is and have not read the instructions on installing this thing as I won't actually install it any time soon. I might try to get my friend to do it because he's a million times better at applying screen protectors than I am.
soon.. http://gizmodo.com/unlocking-your-phone-is-about-to-be-legal-again-1610980657?utm_campaign=socialflow_gizmodo_facebook&utm_source=gizmodo_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow

Hopefully yours doesn't have any bits of grit or something stuck to the face of it like mine did. I ended up re-applying the screen protector properly myself last night. Got all the dust and stuff out from underneath too, I found a roll of wide sticky masking tape and slid strips underneath to pull it off the underside of the protector.
Is the Nexus 5 still a worthy upgrade? I can get one basically for free if I renew my contract (which I'll need to given my carrier choice and really old overpriced plan I'm currently on). Just not sure if I should bear with my S3 a while longer and hold out for the Nexus 6 or pull the plug now before I go to university.
so I think the battery on my phone is already going bad, sometimes the battery refuses to charge and the indicator is sometimes wildly wrong reporting a 50% charge when the battery is basically at nothing right now it's working fine, though I can feel a very slight bump on the battery, is it still safe to use?
they're cheap, just get a new one [editline]27th July 2014[/editline] although the likelihood of it exploding on you is slim, cell batteries are designed to expand before that

Well, actually, let me rephrase that: Nexus 5 is the best Android phone on the market right now, #MATERIAL DuARTe LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Just wanted to read up about Google Now and such Suddenly I noticed this Is this a joke or something?
So I just picked up a G Watch today. Gotta say I'm loving it coming from a Pebble.

Well, no matter how you did your math, Google did their's wrong, it adds up to 31.9787 years. Fucking scrubs.

This was my math:
Good job Google
This was my math:
Ah yea Google is giving you the accurate year of 365.242 days but for birthay purposes they're just using 365 days.
Going to return my LG G3 for a LG G2. (Middle is LG G3, top is a phone and bottom is a laptop) I can't take any more of this as well as I don't really like the size of the device since it no longer fits comfortably between my index finger and thumb. My left hand is sore from holding it too. If it was a 1080p phone, the same size as the G2 and with a Snapdragon 805 I would be in love but the G3 just isn't worth it over the G2. The camera takes some pretty awesome pictures compared to the mediocre white burning camera in the G2.
I hope the G4 comes out by the time I upgrade next year...If I don't drop Sprint before then.
