just ordered a 1+1, hype.
i'll no longer have to endure my htc one s with its shitty screen and battery.
It's awesome, I got mine a couple of weeks ago. The screen looks great and I've never had to worry about battery life, even during quiet days at work when I'm messing with my phone all the time I usually still have 30-40% left when I go to bed. 6+ hours of screen on time even though I keep all the radios on.
Chrome android likes to eat battery..
You on the beta releases?
i never have patience to reflash so often, i literally hate having to re-authenticate my apps over again.
so i usually wait till a big update to roms, or i feel like i need a clean install
I figured I should clean install because last time I dirty flashed all of the updates since 4.4 RC1
Speaking of 3G usage, right now our ISP has a massive fuck up, causing a service blackout in half our city, even the phone is down.
I'm using my dad's 3G (1 GB cap, which was cleared today) right now with USB tethering on my computer, any tips to save data usage?
I'm using Waterfox right now and got Steam running in the background.

Oh shit 413 MB remaining.

Stop using anything that has a constant data use. Twitter, Steam etc.

if the icon has beta written on it, you're on the beta. if not, then you're on the stable.
Anyone know why my galaxy s4 no longer can hear people when I call? It started about a week or two ago and happened to coincide with my warranty expiring. I can hear phone calls but when I answer there is nothing there and apparently they can't hear anything on my end. What is odd is that when I do a hard reset it works fine. but after a couple of phone calls it fucks up again.

Any baseband updates you haven't done?

Classic Samsung.
I'm extremely hyped for my upgrade, I've fallen in love with the G3. Anybody have one, and care to share experiences? Also thought about the new Note, since it'd be released around the same time.

I don't give a fuck, I'm playing Fallout on my Nexus 7. Deal with it.
There is a bunch of apps on sale
If app usage is higher than screen, you're either playing 3D stuff nonstop or you've got wakelocks out the ass
Listening to music for an hour or two will easily put app usage above screen. My phone was in airplane mode for most of the day playing music in the car (no signal where I was), my app usage is 83%.

If controls werent so bad with that simulated mouse, I would play too.
It's actually not so bad now that I've tweaked sensitivity. It's slow gameplay but it's totally doable.
Gangster Vegas is 50 cents and it lags a lot.
Just bought a Sony Xperia Z2 and i'm really really happy with it. The last phone I had used android 2.1 and wasn't even powerful enough to run apps.
Glad I didn't spend £20 on the Official Spigen Slim Armor Case and £20 on the official HTC Dot View case, got knock off versions of both for less than £10 total on eBay. Slim Armor feels too bulky, Dot View is a gimmick that gets in the way after a while.
Also Rock have made a variant of the Dot View case. Rather than having dots, it's just a translucent plastic that enables the dot view.
I can understand the battery part (If you are using white stuff) but how can you ever say that the One S has a shitty screen? I am envious that my Nexus 5 has a washed out screen compared to my old One S
qHD pentile, grays are greenish, has burn in. I don't like oversaturated colours either.
text looking awful unless it is huge is the main reason I don't like it.
Does anyone here play modern combat 5?

The last Spigen case I got fell apart after a month of use. Not buying from them again.
I like my spigen. >.>
I'm going to AT&T today to look at new phones. I'm thinking about the LG G3. Any other worthy contenders to that? I'm open to suggestions
I think the HTC One M8 is often comes up here whenever the G3 is mentioned. Might want to give that a try as well.
Both are pretty solid phones so its more of a preference really. I have the M8 and its amazing.
My brothers M8 constantly loses it's signal, whether that's the shit service we have or not I'm not positive.
Got the G3 along with the LG G Watch since I got 50% off with it. Pretty sweat. All for the same price as the Nexus 5. I love the phone already.
How's the g watch? I've thought about getting one myself. Not entirely sure I'd use it enough to justify it though. :P
You have signed for a contract, haven't you?
Yeah, I don't mind though because if I wanted a new phone after this I'd probably get the next Nexus
