If you want high end go with OnePlus One anyway, because 64GB is really big and battery is amazing (really). If you dont want high end, go with any middle end? Moto G or something. There is no other option at this price I think.
I've been reading too much about the touchscreen issues on the forums and the whole yellow tint issue.
I've been reading too much about the touchscreen issues on the forums and the whole yellow tint issue.
Its a common problem with issues, people with them complain and write more posts, than people without them. I assure you that those with issues are minority. I had no issues to date.
Mine has some very slight light bleed at the bottom, it's not yellow though. No touchscreen issues.
Not sure, not tried it. If you use SuperSU, you can go into setting and disable root on the fly. Well, here is an riddle for ya: 4.7 phone with at least good camera, audio and battery. Doesn't matter, if it has Snap800 instead of 801, for example, I am choosing phone for the girl, who is not interested in these at all. Any recommendations?

I don't know how good the speaker quality is on either of them though but they've got pretty good cameras.
The only phone that meets them specs is the Xperia Z3 Compact.
I thought about first Compact, or about Moto X (that is unavaliable here, unfortunately, but Ebay can solve this)
I thought about first Compact, or about Moto X (that is unavaliable here, unfortunately, but Ebay can solve this)
Yea old Moto X is also a good choice, it's probably the best time to buy it since the new one has been announced so you can get it cheap. Honestly it's very hard to get a phone with a smallish screen and great specs.

damnit the moto360 is already sold out everywhere
it has 12 hours of battery life, supposedly...
There are reports about it using TI OMAP cpu... I thought these were deprecated.
been watching all those new moto360 reviews, its a shit watch. all looks no function
Jheeze texas instruments.
Its a common problem with issues, people with them complain and write more posts, than people without them. I assure you that those with issues are minority. They kinda think it is just some software issue of some sort so they hope it will be fixed soon.
Any roms you guys would reccomend? I'm running CM11 right now and I'd like to try some others.
Any roms you guys would reccomend? I'm running CM11 right now and I'd like to try some others.
Paranoid Android or Omnirom. I would personally suggest to stay away from CM these days.
Paranoid Android or Omnirom. I would personally suggest to stay away from CM these days.
Any idea if paranoid runs on a Moto G? Also, are there any resources about getting that running?
damnit the moto360 is already sold out everywhere
Try Best Buy store pickup, it's been terrible all day but I just got a store pick up order through about 12 minutes ago. http://i.imgur.com/N47lyqk.png?1?5292 [editline]5th September 2014[/editline] also if you go to a USPS and ask for a 'change of address envelope' it comes with a 10% off coupon for best buy in store or online (that's what that promo code is)
Textra updated to a Material UI, and it's fucking beautiful.
I hate the dimple on the back of the new X, way too big
Just got my OnePlus One delivered, and I'm loving it so far. Way better then the iPhone I used to have.
Why would they do that though? I like to my updates from most recent, not what Facebook thinks I want to view it. Hell windows phone's default view for Facebook is most recent
Facebook loves controlling your social activity. The News Feed is pretty useless. Just tell it to give you notifications for a select subset of people and/or pages, and then search up your other friends when you get curious what they're up to.
So now that the moto360 is DOA what smart watch is gud?
So now that the moto360 is DOA what smart watch is gud?
I would say the G Watch. The G Watch round could be good too, but I don't like that bezel. Though on the Moto 360 the lack of bezel was the reason they had to cut off the tiny part of the screen.
Anyone else get really annoyed when the Facebook app decides to just randomly push a notification about a status someone posted? I've had the same one pop up two days in a row now, and several times a week I'll get one about a random friend "shared a post!"
Why don't smartwatches just use a counterweight-battery on the other side of the watch band to both balance out the big honking screen on your wrist and give it that much more oomph in terms of battery life

I couldn't imagine having a smart watch for more than a year or two before buying a new one.
I couldn't imagine having a smart watch for more than a year or two before buying a new one.
Yeah, as much as I would like one. I think I will stick to an old fashioned digital watch. Or an e-ink one.
