Nobody is on it really. All the people I know do not use Google Talk or Google Plus or anything Google at all besides Gmail. It's depressing.
Hangout works from gmail as well. [editline]29th May 2013[/editline]
Who here enjoys the new Hangouts app or hates it?
I love it. So sexy. Managed to get some friends to switch to it from whatsapp since desktop support.
I hate the fact that no one I know have moved to Google+. It works so much better than Facebook.
Any app developer can solve it by querying getsubscriptions and then readding the subscription.
You're feeding your avatar too much and it's getting bigger
Nobody is on it really. All the people I know do not use Google Talk or Google Plus or anything Google at all besides Gmail. It's depressing.
A lot of the people I usually chat with use more Google services such as Drive, occasionally Plus and Hangouts. No one used Google Talk but me...
I think the problem is everyone they know is on facebook even though they probably and most likely do dislike but they arent on google+ so it creating this "problem" of waiting for somebody to go first.
everyone is on Facebook, no one is on Google+
So, a friend just found a S3, without lock combination, in a local funfair.
So, a friend just found a S3, without lock combination, in a local funfair.
If i was him, i would stay with the phone. If he is a good person, he will give it back. If hes gonna stay with it, remember, disable GPS, remove the SIM, and restore to factory config.
I'm excited about the calendar app, what the hell. http://officialandroid.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/google-calendar-update-for-android.html The worst thing is, I don't have a good enough phone for the app to be on.

Your phone can't run a calendar app?
What. Your phone can't run a calendar app?
Probably doesn't have Jelly Bean. Its required for the app.
Oh, I see. You could always run cyanogen mod, right?

Google has to learn that integrating things people use (Android, Gmail, Maps, etc) with things people don't use will not get more people to use the not used stuff.
So, a friend just found a S3, without lock combination, in a local funfair.
smash it, it's a CIA drone

[editline]29th May 2013[/editline]
So, a friend just found a S3, without lock combination, in a local funfair.
Don't be a dick, just give it to the police and let them handle it. [editline]29th May 2013[/editline] Also my stupid big hands keep getting of the way of the S4. Whenever I try to use it in one hand the bottom corner of my thumb manages to find its way to the lower right of the screen, constantly launching things I don't want it to. I wish there was a way I could program a tiny dead zone into the touchscreen at will.

Really, if you want to be undetectable, FIRST thing you do, boot into the recovery. If it's a custom recovery, just wipe it. If it's stock recovery, use ODIN (Samsung) or fastboot (HTC) to install your own and then wipe it. NOTE: don't actually steal phones because it's mean

Why do you use Prey?
I'm using Cerberus, personally. Why do you use Prey?
Potayto, potahto. Prey is free and does the same stuff.
Fair enough. I was just wondering if it was loads better for some reason and if I should switch.

[editline]30th May 2013[/editline] It's kinda wonky though, cerberus doesn't quite work right as a system app on most phones.
Cerberus can preserve install when you have root and install it as a system app. You'll have to flash a clean rom over it to get rid of it.
Ah, that might be a feature that Prey doesn't have. Yeah, flashing is your best bet. In fact, wipe everything first, not just the "factory reset" option in the recovery, but fully wipe every partition including system (excluding the recovery partition obviously).
If you're stealing a phone then have it turned off until you can fully wipe it and get rid of everything which can be tracked (sim card for instance).

[editline]30th May 2013[/editline] Ohh. Nvm me. I thought it was pre installed on all phones, but apparently the one I have is some Sony thingy synced with google calander [editline]30th May 2013[/editline] Wait what. Did it get a complete overhaul or not? :v: I'm so confused right now.
If you're stealing a phone then have it turned off until you can fully wipe it and get rid of everything which can be tracked (sim card for instance).
When stealing a phone get into a lead bunker and you'll be fine.
When stealing a phone get into a lead bunker and you'll be fine.
I usually do this as well, after sabotaging his carrier and phone brands network.
So, because of my previous ROM not supporting Gapps (they never wanted to work, even if I tried nearly everything). I checked on XDA (the only site I know which has ROMs for Android), I quickly found some nice looking ROM and installed it. Now there is a lot of text written only in Cyrillic. :suicide: Does anyone knows a good site with Android ROMs or a good ROM for HTC Wildfire S?
Okay so who here uses whatsapp and how much do you and your contacts use?
