wrong 3dot>people and options>rename
This is not an option for me on my S3.
This is not an option for me on my S3.
the 3dot, or people and options?
the 3dot, or people and options?
maybe im missing something, but there is no "rename" here [t]http://i.imgur.com/GTSIAhw.png[/t]
Probably can't rename SMS groups. I imagine it uses whatever the OS manages for the SMS database (which doesn't support naming group chats) and they don't want to tack on features that use a hacky implementation.
Yeah which is too bad since I just use hangouts for sms
I bought the Moto 360 5 minutes after it was released but my order was a back order that was supposed to be delivered at the 19th. Well last night I received an email from Motorola stating they are shipping my device early and it's coming tomorrow! Can't wait to try it out.

New hangouts is laggy for me, also not really digging the general design when your in the main section, the header is so big
ive found that a lot of things are kinda laggy on my g3 and it makes me very mad
I need help finding a new Verizon phone for me that isn't too pricey, and I think you guys would be the best help. I've been going around with a Galaxy Nexus, and I've pretty much only ever used it for music, Facebook, web browsing (rarely, because I don't like browsing on a phone), maps, and as a camera. I'd like a cheap new phone that would be well-suited for these things - I don't do anything crazy like emulate PS1 games or anything. I also use my laptop a lot, so I use my phone when I don't have comfortable access to my laptop. It would be great if it had an SD card mainly because there's no reason for a phone not to have one, and I don't get why companies are opting out of having the SD card slot. Right now I'm looking at phones, but I honestly feel a bit lost. I can shop for things like headphones with knowledge of special criteria, but I'm not too sure about what makes a good phone. Oh, and this would be for late October!
I really miss the swipe to the right to go back to the conversation list

Unless you want to go with Samsung and TouchWiz. I would probably recommend the LG G2 (a flagship device from 6 months ago is apparently free with contract :v:). Its 32 GB so its the lesser of the evils and would be comparable to your GNex but the hardware is still fairly high end. I'll look into that. I saw the HTC One Remix was $100 with a two month contract and it seemed kind of nice as well, but I'm still looking. EDIT: The LG G2 seems great!
So I've always wanted a successor to the Xperia Play, something with a decent processor and built in gaming controls. I think I've finally found something.
If you like frustration, pain, anger and disappoiment, buy one.
Why do you say that? I've watched videos and looked up info on processor benchmarks, gaming performance, UI performance, 3G capabilities, and everything else I could think of. The only downside is that the android version is a little lacking, but there are no 4.4+ features I rely on. I don't feel the need to constantly flash new ROM's, I would just like something that works.

I suggest you to buy an universal adapter, a ps3 controller and go the extra mile and buy an OnePlus One or, if you want to stay on Mediatek, buy this one: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Original-Neken-N6-Android4-2-MTK6589T-quad-core-mobile-phone-5-0-IPS-Screen-2GB-32GB/1572982510.html (the link name for some reason is wrong, but it's a MTK6592)
Is it possible to auto backup photos to drive/photos/ instead of google+ photos? That way I can access them on my computer without going to plus.google.com
For the price of 5,5 inch 64 GB iPhone I can buy π OnePlus One's, (3,14 of them).
this is stupid
It's stupid to you because you want the feature, it's smart to a programmer because you're not wasting hours and hours writing hacky code to tack together a feature that will inevitably explode.

If I'm on the bus, I'm not going to pull out a PS3 controller, an adapter, and the actual device when I can have that all bundled in one, y'know? The quality of the buttons doesn't bother me too much as long as I have them as inputs.

this is probably the best comparison of information density on android wear vs app watch they are both indicating a stopwatch
and I don't follow this..
the apple watch is trying to shove far too much information on your wrist
I guess some people want all of that info just by looking at it without the need of swiping or even touching the watch
the apple watch is trying to shove far too much information on your wrist
Oh wait, is the left one from apple? Seriously? They're usually all minimalistic and stuff..
Yeah, it really is. It looks like one of those cheap, terribly designed apps.
I honestly feel like the Apple Watch was rushed. It doesn't seem as carefully designed as their other products. It's like they saw Android Wear gaining popularity a few months ago and scrambled to make a competitor.
